They came by the first day after my refrigerator froze everything. They ultimately replaced the control board (twice, after the first replacement didn't work), the defrost thermostat, and finally the thermistor. The technician was rude and confrontational. He showed up in jogging pants and a t shirt. He was in our home for about 5 minutes. He moved the appliance a few inches unscrewed a couple screws then proceeded to tell us that he couldn't fix the product and that we owe him ninety dollars. I explained that we were told they could fix the product or we wouldn't have had him out and per his office staff The ninety dollars was supposed to go towards fixing it. He proceeded to argue with me as to why he couldn't fix it.. At that point I just wanted to get him out of our house so I paid him, so he would leave. He left the appliance sticking out for me to put back. It was not a good experience to be argued with, disrespected in my own home and pay ninety dollars for it. I tried to tell the office what happened, but they told me that even if they tried to fix the appliance it would probably break again. I asked them, that being the case, do you think that it's fair to charge me ninety dollars for 5 minutes? He stated that they were professionals and that they deserved ninety dollars for going out. Unfortunately my warranty company made me go with 911 Appliance Repair. They came out on 5/28/24 to inspect my laundry washer and told me that I would have to pay for all the work and parts upfront. So I did. It is now 7/9/24 and my laundry washer is still not fixed. They choose 4th of July as the repair date, that was the option they gave me, I asked the person on the phone if they were sure they were open on the holiday, they said yes and I accepted the appointment. They never showed up. I have called them 3x in the last couple days and haven't received a single call back. I regret going through my warranty company because then I could have chosen a more reputable company to fix my washer, it could be done by now, and my warranty isn't even covering the repair! He came in April and never returned until end of July with parts of a washer lid lock did not stay to make sure it actually worked saying he had other customers but I said I'm a customer. He left of course it didn't work he came back a couple weeks later saying the part was defective and had to order another one, never heard back from this idiot. I hired another appliance repair company and within 3 days it was fixed and said he never installed the lid lock correctly and that's why it wasn't any good. This guy is a complete idiot and made promises and promises to come fix over the months and would never show up. Horrible service I've ever had. LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE!!!! This company was assigned to me through ch**** home warranty (another issue with them altogether). The repair was for a small leak from a water pipe where it was sweated together- going into a water softener. Tech arrived on Monday, on time, but after looking at it, said he didn't have the correct size pipe to conduct repair. "OK" I thought, and the tech said he would call back to find a good time to come back. Then I had to pay the 75 dollar service charge... the tech then wrapped a paper towel over the leak and said it was to "see how wet it gets when I come back". This was red flag #1- 75 bucks for a paper towel over a leaking pipe. Several days go by with no call back...(Red flag #2). I call to find out what is going on, and am told i would get a call back soon to schedule for Friday... (red flag #3). I took off work on a Friday to be home for this, and Friday came with no call yet. I called them yet again, and was told a tech will.be here 10am -12pm.... ok... fine.... tech shows up and once again says he STILL doesnt have the right size parts. After already coming once and having a look at the leak (that's where he wrapped it with a dang paper towel!) This is, you guessed it- red flag #4. I was told, yet again to expect a call back to come back and fix this small little leaking pipe, before 2pm. Well at the time of writing this its 3pm... they have FINALLY returned my call, only to say "I'll call the tech and see where he is at, and call you back." Guess what, still no call back. Too many red flags. Period. They are not considerate, reliable, or professional. May 2017 - Our home warranty recommended them for an home AC repair. We called them to set an appointment and explained our AC issues (they did not indicate they could not repair our AC). We paid $45 and they came out and the technician had no gauges or monitors or typical AC diagnostic equipment and told my pregnant wife that he could not test the AC since it was not hot enough outside. He removed about 8 screws from the AC unit and forgot to put them back. He left the power bypass fuse open and exposed. He left his cordless electric screwdriver on top of the AC unit and left. I put it back together and left his screwdriver on our front porch. We requested a different tech from an actual HVAC company who brought equipment, determined the Freon was low because he tested it, and made the AC work great. My wife requested they refund the $45 service call and they refused. So this review is a DIRECT reflection of 911 Appliance Repair's quality of service, quality of customer service, and a big suggestion to avoid this place at all costs. Do not use these guys. When googling '911 Appliance Repair', ensure it's the Tuscon AZ address. A bunch of different companies with this name come up from all over the AZ area but the Tuscon one with 1 review is the one you DO NOT WANT TO GO WITH. Guy's name is Nelson, his sidekicks are Nick and George. They're awful. I got stuck with them through a home warranty (like most people giving reviews). It's been three months and still nothing has been fixed. They came to see what type of job was needed for my fridge, claimed to order parts, came back three months later with the wrong part ordered. Left my fridge torn apart with screws left sitting inside the fridge and parts dangling from the ceiling. I told Nick that this has been really frustrating and he says "yeah, I know, my boss is an idiot". Terrible customer service; I was always the one calling to get a status, no one answers the phone. If I could give them a zero i would. I did not pick this company, it was picked by my home warranty company but they will not be allowed to come into my home again. They came out the first day, very promptly, but did not fix the problem. I purchased a new control box for the wall but found out i did not need it. The technician replaced the fuse and connected the old control panel on the wall but did not put the old face plate so I could not return the $200 new control panel I purchased. When I got home I changed the pre-programmed settings. The motor turned on and immediately turned off, the control panel would no longer turn on. I called the company, several times over the next 7 days with no return call. Finally on day 7, I reached someone in the office who scheduled an appointment. My daughter met the technician who had to leave twice: one to purchase a screwdriver and once to purchase the correct fuse. The technician declared the problem "fixed" because he could feel cool air from the vent. I suspect he felt residual air conditioning air because the evaporate cooler was still not working when I got home from work. I have called almost every day since and did not receive a call back. On day 5 I finally found someone in the office who told me he would call me back later in the day. As of the next evening I have still not received a call back. but hads yet to do so . The home owner called his home warranty company and they sent these guys out when my dryer started overheating. There were two things wrong with the dryer the first was the dryer overheats every 10-15 min and second was the on off switch was broken. I received a phone call from one of the techs he asked about the switch and asked me to text him the model and serial number. I was worried cause the tech just shrugged off the overheating, so i asked him and he said its probably lint build up. After setting up the appointment i called the home owner and told him the tech didn't seem to interested in fixing the overheating problem and that i didn't think they knew what they were doing. The home owner called the warranty company "choice home warranty" and told them we wanted a different company to come out. The home warranty company then set up a second service call for these same guys. I then received a call from i guess the main guy and i told them that they were not supposed to be the ones coming out and both service calls should be canceled. I told him about my concerns with the first tech i spoke to and that he didn't seem interested in fixing the overheating issue. He promised that he would send a different tech out and that they would take care of it. I set up the service call for last Thursday from 8-10. The tech showed up at 950a , and im almost certain it was the first tech i spoke too cause he just seemed interested in diagnosing the switch. I brought up the fact that it was overheating and he told me he thinks it is lint build up in the vent in the wall. I told him it wasnt and he ran the machine for 5 min tops with it away from the wall. He then told me its not overheating and i told him that its not overheating cause he is running it with out clothes and for only 5 min. He started to get confrontational and told me that once they get the parts for the switch they will come back out and check the vent. He told me to run it away from the wall and it should be fine. I ran it that way and it still over heats every 10 min proving that it is an issue with the dryer and not the vent in the wall. I waited a couple days for the parts to come in and for them to call me to set up a follow up. They never called and the home owner called them and they submitted paperwork to the home warranty company saying that there is lint build up from lack of maintenance causing the overheating. This is a complete lie as the machine does not work when hooked up to the vent. I called the company multiple times and left multiple messages. They never responded, and i'm stuck with a broken dryer and the home warranty company wont fix it due to the tech falsifying documents. Last night i went and purchased a new dryer and it works fine hooked up to the wall vent. There is a reason why these guys have an F review. read more

911 Appliance Repair was sent by our home warranty company after we filed a claim for a leaking water heater. The claim was at our home which is a rental property while we are living overseas. We paid the $45 service fee, Rick advised us that the water heater needs to get replaced, and that since it is not covered by the home warranty company we would have to pay out of pocket for it. We pointed out that we were hesitant hiring 911 Appliance Repair after seeing the negative reviews online and Rick advised us that those were old reviews and that we would be very happy with his work. Via email we agreed on a price and a starting date the following day, as soon as we would have signed the contract but the contract never arrived via email. So the starting of the water heater installation got dragged further and further. When he was ready to start the work we realized how much bigger the issue was than just a new water heater and a little drywall repair. Long story short the damage was much bigger than we expected it to be. Even Rick had offered to do the job, we believe that it was far too complex for him. In the end we had to have water mitigation, mold mitigation, drywall repair, paint, and of course a new water heater installed .... by a company that specializes in this kind of work. The final cost was nearly then times what we got initially quoted (just to give you an idea how much bigger the job ended up being) and it took a team of technicians three weeks to finish the job. Luckily a friend of us had come to the house to check on the situation and realized that the issue on hand was far too complex to be handled by 911 Appliance Repair and we managed to get our pre-paid money back, and managed to walk away. read more

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE HORRIBLE CON ARTISTS! My elderly mom with very limited means and numerous health medical condition, was recommended by her home warranty too use 911 Appliance Repair which was a horrible mistake. They sent out a "tech" that told her that the air conditioner coils needed to be clean, and charged her 150,00 to do it. When a family member went on the roof and noticed that coils were never cleaned and now it blowing only hot air now reaching the 90s inside our house. We took pictures that were time stamped and phone records of the numerous calls to Resolve the Issue, they never answer their phones and wont return her phone calls, to either do the services paid for or return the money. THIS ISSUE STARTED IN JUNE. i am pursuing civil and criminal charges against them. read more

This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'm renting a home and the hot water heater pilot would not stay lit. They were suppose to come on Tuesday but did not come till Wednesday. They came and said they needed to order a part and said they will come the next day. So Thursday came and they came and then said the part did not fit so it will be another 2 days. It is now Sunday and it's been a full week and the hot water heater is still not fixed. My landlord sent another person to fix it but 911 appliances took a bunch of parts so no one else would be able to fix it. I called them and they would not admit they ordered the wrong part, the manager was rude. What's even worse is they they said well you won't have to worry about cold water because it's suppose to be hot out side since summer is starting. read more

My home warranty company sent 911 Appliance out to fix my dryer. The service tech. said it needed maintenance which was not covered by the warranty company and got approval to order parts needed to fix it. I waited a week and knew the parts were in because the warranty company told me after I called them because 911 Appliance would not return my calls. I had to keep going thru my warranty company for help. Finally 911 came out, maintenance on the dryer ended up being a small clump of lent that had built up over time and they wanted $125.00 for that. The parts were put in and when the tech. was done I asked him why the dryer was still so loud. He claimed it wasn't that loud but he did find out that the dryer now needed a motor. So now he wants the $125.00 and I said no. The dryer is still not fixed and I need to see if the warranty company is going to put out more money to fix it. I told him he should have found it needed a motor the last time he was out here. He calls his boss and tells him I won't pay the money and why so they decide to wait and see if the motor will be approved. The appliance guy is really pissed at me but why would I pay for maintenance if it turns out the warranty company doesn't want to pay anymore money. The guy storms out shutting my door hard and slamming his work van door and left. I got a email from the warranty company letting me know they do not want to put any more money towards repairs and will pay me some replacement money for a new dryer. And I refuse to pay any maintenance money to 911 Appliance so we'll see if they try again to get me to. What a joke.. read more

My home warranty company sent them to repair my dishwasher. Big mistake. It took a couple of weeks even to get an appointment, and when I finally did, the guy came out and basically ran the hot water in my sink and told me to make sure the water was hot before running the dishwasher. The dishwasher had worked fine up until that point, so that obviously wasn't the problem. There was no troubleshooting. I told him that the soap dispenser didn't always work, so they ordered another dispenser but again, there was no troubleshooting to ascertain if that was the problem. I had to call multiple times to see when the dispenser was even in. I was told twice it was there, and it never was. I finally told them to go pound sand and refused to work with them further.
