Robbie was helpful and seemed to possess an almost encyclopedic knowledge of weed control methods, chemical usage and overall yard care. He sent a crew over shortly after he left and they treated my lawn. I woke up this morning, and less than 24 hours after they treated my lawn, the weeds are already shriveled up and dying. I'm very happy and will definitely be using them for ongoing maintenance.

We interviewed 3 landscape designers before finally selecting Robert Leeper Landscapes to build a…read morelandscape design for us. Robert put together a very comprehensive (multi-phase) plan for our very large and barren yard for a very affordable price (I couldn't believe some of the high cost estimates other landscape designers came up with). I asked him for 3 references for implementing the work. The references checked out, and we were very excited to embark on the project with Robert & OJ (his crew foreman). We changed a few of the items on the landscape design during the design phase, and Robert was very willing to work with us on that. He 'got' what we wanted in the yard very quickly (1000 photos from Sunset Magazine certainly helped) and built the plan to accomodate our needs. My only beef was that it definitely took longer than the original plan mostly because the stonework ended up eating a lot of time. One other issue was that while they have built many other firepits, they had never done a gas one before. I had to do some additional last minute leg work with the gas company to get gas to my firepit. Robert tries very hard to stay within the budget. We needed to add an extra week to the project in order to finalize some of the stonework we had installed. I have neighbors stop me and compliment me on the design. We love showing it off and taking people behind the fence to see the really fun stuff (the zen fountain, fire pit, and huge stone 'fence' around a 100 year old Oak tree). We always get lots of oooowwss and aaaahhhhhs on our modern xeriscape yard. (note to all buyers who think a crushed granite yard is low maintance...not! you will still be pulling weeds out of the crushed granite). Robert's design skills are top notch! And the team is very professional. They show up on time and get the work done. I will be hiring them again for the next phase of implementation (and design!).

Cesar is the owner! ) Fair pricing, quality is amazing, and work ethic is so strong! I saw a few reviews and have to say this... you have to maintain whatever landscaping anyone puts in - whether it be your irrigation, plants, and weeds that follow!!! Weed barrier overall doesn't prevent Texan weeds from growing, and generally I don't recommend or get weed barrier. Use a natural ground cover that snuffs the bad stuff out. You'll also have to replace some plants - they can be finicky based on the elements and soil (or rocks) which can vary in a single yard. If you are new to the area, know this - color is season al but most often everything is green. It requires so much self care if you want color all year around which basically means planting annuals yourself.

He does a $30 mow/edge/blow within the Wooten neighborhood. He's cut my trees for $60 and we have some other small projects coming up. As far as I can tell, everything past the standard mow is at a $20/hour rate, which is fantastic for a local, organic gardener. I've been very happy with the quality of work as well. We have a list and we're chipping away at it, but I think I've found my guy for basic yard maintenance.
