I've tried a few different tri-tip sandwiches in bend recently and this one might be my favorite (don't come for me!). The staff are really nice too! In case you haven't been to this area, it's a food truck that is part of an outdoor pavilion area. Super fun spot to check out if you're with a group. I'll be back!

It is green chili braised chicken thighs (tender as hell), smoked chicken breast (heaven), pickled peppers , lime aioli and Swiss with a very nice habanero coconut hot sauce. My lips and tongue were smoking in the most satisfactory way. Other sandwiches looked amazing. Cooked to order! Highly recommend this place wherever you happen to find them. Set in an old home, this establishment has become one of Bend's favorite restaurants. The menus have range with breakfast by far being my favorite. However, their pizzas are spectacular and I've never had a pastry yet that I didn't really enjoy. They serve coffee from a local roaster called Lone Pine. The staff is always extremely friendly and I have frequently positive interactions with them when I stop by. Prices are reasonable, and the food is very high-quality while also being consistently fresh. Parking can be a challenge at times, but it's always worth the effort. Not to mention a chance for a nice stroll around downtown Bend after my meal... just the perfect end to complement a perfect day here in this lovely place.
