There was a lot construction going on as well, so exit roads from parking lot were in very bad condition and one of the entrance was closed. Inside the store it was like any other Walmart, just aisles after aisles of products. They have a huge produce and grocery section. There were a lot of decoration and inventory for Easter as well. I easily located the bike we came to get. After trying it for a bit, we took it to the checkout lane. The checkout was quick as the cashier scanned and processed the payment in a short time. Near the exit, there was a McDonald's store as well. We were happy with the in-store shopping experience but the parking situation and potholes in the surrounding roads made it unpleasant for the shoppers.

Like all 99 Cent stores in NYC, this place looks as if it's been around for a long time. Service isn't the fastest, but I would assume no one comes here for this. What I do come here for is the random finds that this place tends to have and others don't. Usually I go in with a mission: find a charging cable, a temporary household good, or something I knew that wouldn't last me long and was good for the pinch. I had asked her questions on several occasions and she is ever so helpful to assist. She stops what she is doing to help and is always smiling. They have a big variety of close outs and bargains you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else. They can sell things such as designer sunglasses that would cost you around $20 or more for just $1! They have all types of assorted personal and household items, as well as clothing at amazingly low prices. They also have all sorts of food items. Not everything is a big bargain but mostly it's all priced pretty well. If you know your prices you won't overpay, but keep in mind it's not ALL cheaper than you could find elsewhere. They have a lot of food items, although some of them are close to expiration, but often it doesn't matter at all since the expiration dates don't mean much and you can freeze things as well. They have a lot of cheeses at super bargain prices, and also chocolates that would cost you 3 times as much elsewhere. Chocolates don't really go bad quickly either.
