Ten dollars is the price for Fridays, $8 on Saturdays, $5 on Sundays, $4 on Mondays and so on until you get to products that are worth $1 on Thursdays. New items are brought in on Fridays, a variety of items from games to photo frames to vitamins and supplements, steamers, calendars, knick knacks, and more. I've encountered items that I had no idea what it was and also found myself holding an x-rated item after I read the description to figure out what it was. . So yeah, they have loads of items and half the fun is just figuring out what you're looking at. Items behind the display case behind the cashier are more expensive as are the pictures on the wall. No "bin" really has any particular order to it. You'll have to dig through stuff here. You might want to bring gloves, but it's not really dirty so much as finding your way through a treasure trove of items. Some products I found online and compared to the price online doesn't seem like a great deal, but I have found and bought some random objects that were very useful on a day when the price is low. So slow, that I had to leave the line, ditch my cart full of $100+ of items and walk out in order to be somewhere else on time. I was able to come back later and found my ditched cart still there. I reentered the line and was next customer to pay with one employee working the registered. While I was waiting for someone in front of me making a lengthy return, 7 customers piled up behind me. Coco C. (The coordinator) made eye contact with me and saw me waiting to be rung up. May of us in line were commenting how slow the check out process was as Coco organized shopping carts while a long line formed. 8 customers in line, one active register, and employees who are free to ring people up. In a world where Amazon is king, and online shopping is convenient, why would I waste my time shopping at stores like TJmaxx when the service is horrific. This TJmaxx is losing sales in just its check out process alone.

That is a store issue, not a customer issue. There was no acknowledgment that closed fitting rooms directly affect return rates, and no adjustment in how the situation was handled. They did not account for context or apply basic flexibility in resolving the return. The interaction became repetitive and defensive rather than solution-focused. The lack of listening, judgment, and basic problem-solving made a simple return unnecessarily difficult. They should be embarrassed that this is their level of customer service over a $28 shirt. Fariba continued talking throughout the interaction, repeatedly trying to prove her point without resolving the issue. I ultimately had to ask her to stop talking so much and focus on the return, rather than continuing the back-and-forth. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD EVER HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE.
