I had an item that was marked 99 cent but when I got to the car I saw that I was charged $7.99 for it, so I went back in and let them know and they said that they mis marked it and they won't give it to me for 99 cent. the cashier Jose, calmly peeled off the 99 cent sticker and said we mis marked it. The 1st mgr Mayra , rude, came up and told him I'm on break and she walked away. The 2nd mgr Kimberly came up and said she was not going to give it to me for 99 cent and I asked why.? She said because that wasn't the price and even if it was damaged, she still wouldn't mark it to 99cent. So I said to her, I said Saw it was marked 99cent and that's what I want to pay. She said no. So I asked for a refund, because they had already charged me $7.99. Quite naturally I'm pissed and don't AND I MEAN I DON'T recommend this location AT ALL. Staff is rude, management is rude, location smells and it's unorganized. Just terrible. read more

There was plenty of parking and they have their secure officer providing sanitizer at the door which is awesome and the cashiers are productive. Definitely would return to this location. read more

This has got to be the most dirty 99 cents store I've been too. Unfortunately it's the closest one to my home. Never fully stocked, refrigerator hasn't been working for a few weeks already. Needed a shopping cart because they were all wheel locked, asked one of the cashiers if she could send someone to unlock a cart for me and she never did. Had to wait for someone to leave one at the exit. It's a shame I have to drive to another surrounding city for a 99. read more

this 99 cent store has a ton of items tons of different food candy drink cold refrigerated food as well fruits and vegetables they also have electronics not so reliable but they do have them batteries garden things and all types of different automotive and pet supplies and they also have toys for the children and party supplies as well so if you're looking for gift bags wrapping paper specially during the holiday season where things are a little tight this would be a great place to go. You can find plenty of snacks here for that office party you can get all the snacks you need from chips to Candy to chocolate juice water and whatever else you need to supply your party with only downfall for this 99 cent store is the lines are always extremely long normally with only two cashiers at the front in about 10 customers in each line that's my experience besides that shop at your own risk. read more

So yesterday I bought something from a different I asked them if I could return it to any store they said yes so then the next day I came to this store and told them that I was returning something they said that I couldn't return it I asked why so they called the manager when the manager saw the problem he started to laugh and told someone else to deal with it and they told me that I couldn't return my item because this wasn't the store that I bought it from so I told them that in the other store that I bought it from told me that I could they still said no this was really embarrassing for me. read more

I asked the young lady and she said sorry ask the manager I'm just a worker here and walked away! Older Hispanic lady saw and said sorry how can I help you, I asked her to direct me to her household items and she did! The older Nice Hispanic lady was a customer, she felt so bad for me she helped me! I understand unemployment rate is low but please hire people who want to join your team! I had an incident where their system froze and they took my purchase amount from my account, since the system froze i ended up paying cash, now im trying to get a refund for the amount they wrongfully charged me, and Marisol the manager couldn't help me, so where is my $. Are you serious? Parking Lot: Always full Store: Average Employees: Consider new staff to hire Visited on 3/31/14 at about 5pm. There were two checkout lines open, needless to say they were full -typical at this location. While waiting at the checkout, Sondra (cashier) begins to verbally harass a female employee and yelling out, "I'm not going to get in trouble for you." As a customer waiting in line, a yelling competition between employees is the absolute last thing I want to witness. Aside from this experience, I also witnessed a different cashier on a separate occasion, gossiping and disclosing personal information about customers who just walked out the door. For example, the story the female employee recited was deeply personal and quite frankly none of her business, nor ours for that matter. Solution: clean-house and make wise decisions when hiring. read more

Pretty much what you've come to expect from this chain: reasonable stuff (sometimes big brands, sometimes off-brand) for 99 cents, sometimes even less. Canned goods, snacks, box mixes, toiletries, cleaning products, holiday stuff, paper goods, oh you know what I'm talking about. I'd post the items I was surprised by, but that stuff changes all the time. The shelves were well-stocked and random things weren't all over the place, there were actually a lot of employees on the floor restocking and available to answer questions, which was cool/unusual at 5:30pm. I thought I wasn't going to be home for several hours after leaving, so I decided to ask about their restroom. I don't care how badly you need to pee, DO NOT USE THE MEN'S RESTROOM (the women's was locked). No amount of hand sanitizer will cleanse you. Urine stench, no paper towels, soap dispenser doesn't work unless you remove the top and stick your hand in, etc. Gaaaaah. Then again, I guess I can't really expect more from a 99 Cents Only Store. Parking lot can get crowded. read more

Great store, I always find brand name items for really cheap and the expiration dates are usually a few months away. The store is clean and organized and offers an amazing selection of fruits and vegetable at a low price. Some of the cashiers are rude and seemed bothered when you have a large transaction. One of the managers, Erick, advised me to go on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays because that is when they get their delivery. Of all the managers he is the most helpful. He goes out of his way to help you find what you are looking for whereas the other managers direct me to another employee for help. read more

I ONLY stop in here at desperate times while in the area. Every time, the store has been a mess. Stock on the shelves is messy. Lines are always long. Parking is a hot mess. You can get a lot of produce here for $.99: Bananas, apples, oranges, cucumber, lettuce, bell peppers, etc. Actually they have more produce than all the other $.99 store I've been to. But they are not that great of a quality. I bought some peaches on Friday and they were hard. I left them on the counter to soften and by monday they were rotten. I cut them in half and it was brown straight through. They have lots of affordable items here. I don't mind going here in a pinch. read more

Thr Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life they don't speak to you when you get in line. They all act like they're in middle school stuck up. dont know this chick's name but she's African American and it's obvious she wears wigs she gave me the rudest look ever I was there with my husband and she gave us a dirty look she tends to do this with a lot of customers so we're not the only one but I think things like that me. First visited this store about 7 months ago and there are no words to describe how poorly the store looked. Everything was unorganized, staff were unfriendly and the manager was no help either. I couldnt find what I was looking for due to the mess in every aisle. I swore to never step foot into this 99cent store ever again but I decided to give the store a second chance since it's my neighborhood store and may i say that the store has done a full 360!!! The store is so much cleaner and well put together. Staff are friendly and the manager is very attentive and helpful as well. All products were stocked neatly. It was such a great relief being able to walk in to find what im looking for without having to worry about a mess. The new management has really turned this store around. I will def. let my family know that this store has changed and recommend them to go! read more

They don't even answer the phone during business hours after 9 rings. Do I need to say more? Some of the people who work there are nice but they have a lying cashier who said there is no ice and gave me back my $1 and there was ice in the freezer. I was in the phone and didn't deal with it. I shop at this store everyday. I have for my whole adult life. I go there because it was good stuff and a good price. Now the new manager Addison is horrible. He hires people with no hours. Will give 8 hours on a week stop hiring people. And the people he does hire work at night are super slow. They will have 1-2 lines open and be so slow and take forever. Today I went and he had the nerve to accuse me of stealing. Sorry I am a grown woman with money I don't need to steal especially something that is 99 cents. Really come on now.. The restrooms smell so bad, some of the food has been expired for about 4 months and when I go to return it with a receipt they refuse to take it back. There is no reason I should have a problem out of a manager. Then he told me to never come back or I'll be arrested and when I told my husband he denied the whole thing. He is a wuss.
