Honestly, I had NO idea this was here. If it didn't pop on social media, I wouldn't have known. I came through first opportunity. First impression: this place is HUGE! It is a warehouse, pretty much. Everything is organized and sectioned: furniture and home decor, linens, beauty, cleaning supplies, kitchen ware, etc... There is plenty to see. Most of the items I saw aren't popular brands, and I'll admit the quality if some aren't up to par. But everything is priced accordingly: you do get what you pay for. I came up with a few bargain items. (My favorite was BBQ metal skewers - pack of 6 - for the bargain price of $1. Still yet to test 'em, but for a buck? Why not!) It was a good first visit. I'd come back should the need ever come up.

Love the store. They have huge selection of home decorating for fractions of price compared to major retail stores. Will be going back soon.

Richard and Carol know more about Gardena than most history books. Half the fun is hunting through the endless collection of vintage treasures, and the other half is chatting with them. Every shelf has something nostalgic, unexpected, or wonderfully random. I spotted old Duncan yo-yos, Mickey Mouse collectibles, vintage signs, John Wayne toilet paper, and about a hundred other things I've already forgotten. They even put water out for our dog, which instantly made us feel welcome. If you're grabbing coffee nearby, stop in afterward. Just don't expect to leave quickly. Come for the vintage finds, stay for the stories, and leave wondering whether you should've bought that one thing you'll be thinking about all week.

They truly have a little bit of everything, all at very reasonable prices. It's cash only, but there's an ATM nearby. If you enjoy curated collectibles, antiques, trinkets, and unique finds, I highly recommend Loonies Bin. Beyond their amazing selection, Carol and her husband are genuinely kind people. They do an incredible job of making everyone feel like family. I could easily spend hours talking with Carol about her adventures and the wealth of knowledge she has about the store and its treasures. This is truly a special business run by two caring people who make the shop feel warm, welcoming, and alive. I'm already looking forward to coming back!

Review #982 2026-048…read more HomeGoods is located on the north end of Torrance Promenade; the store replaced part of defunct Kmart. Owned by TJX, it's a sister company to T.J. Maxx & Marshalls, selling home accessories, furniture, linens, cooking products, etc. HomeGoods used to offer online shopping but removed it a couple of years ago (10/2023) to refocus on the "treasure hunt" in-store experience due to low e-commerce sales & ever changing inventory for that surprise find. Their inventory of "home goods" is usually larger, better, & competitively priced in comparison to its sister companies. HG also stocks snacks, treats, coffees & teas, etc., but their prices are slightly higher than T.J. Maxx & Marshalls. Over the years, I alternated between this location at Torrance Promenade & the one in Torrance Crossroads on Crenshaw Blvd. (refer to Review #821) for deals on bedding, blankets, cookware & kitchenware, etc. I prefer shopping here for cookware & kitchenware because it's better organized than the hodgepodge at Torrance Crossroads. Parking is equally challenging since they're next door to Marshalls, particularly on weekends. My recent visit was looking for a nonstick fry pan replacement. Marshalls stocked only ceramic frying pans... this popularity surge was due to their marketing as a non-toxic, eco-friendly, & safer alternative to Teflon, ceramics' nonstick properties durability is short by 1/2 or more of the estimated lifespan. I was so happy to find an All-Clad pan... both versions: ceramic & nonstick were available, & I stuck with the nonstick (pun intended... LOL). Since we recently adopted a 2nd cat, I checked out their cat supplies but didn't find anything that could withstand Butter's high energy, macho tendencies. He's quite friendly & isn't destructive towards our furniture, yet he's more rough on his toys. His l'il sis, Snow, rivals Butter's play enthusiasm since he joined the family, & ripped a modular track with ball within a couple of weeks. Though the cardboard scratchers are nice, I think sisal poles or boards may work better for both their personalities, especially since they influence each other's behaviors. I normally don't see any staff on the floor, but if you need help, you can always ask a cashier to page someone for assistance. If you're looking for an alternative to expensive retail home décor & furnishings, HomeGoods is the place to be for competitively priced "home goods" for your home.

Love this store! Prices have went up though, don't like that. Some items have broken easily, that…read moreneeds to change. Other than that, I do enjoy the variety they offer here. Christmas is my favorite.

I really liked what I saw on the yelp page so I made a long drive after work to get to the store at 6:10. I pullled up and the open sign was turned off, I figured I came this far I might as well check it out through the window. That's when I noticed two ladies chatting inside, so I tried the door and to my surprise it was open! I began walking around looking at some of thee beautiful gems, art , and jewelry. After about 30 seconds both women began telling me they are closed and that I need to go. It was very disappointing to travel so far, make it in time and still be asked tto leave with no explanation besides "were closed". They didn't even offer to let me look around for a few minutes and potentially spend quite a bit of money! Very disappointing, I hate to even bbring it up but it felt like because I was white, or male they did not want me in their store. (I came straight from work so I was wearing chinos a button down and a tie, not Verrazano threatening!) Anyways they have wasted plenty of my time, don't let them waste yours as well, I would highly recommend seeking out another store.
