Everything costs the exact same amount, but the amount varies depending on when you go. It ranges from $8 to $1. I shopped there on dollar day recently and bought six items, ranging from a shower mat to a box of envelopes to some banged-up boxes of ziplock baggies. On $8 day, they sell luggage and kitchen appliances, but people line up for hours to be the first ones in the store to get the best items. I did that once and got a couple of humidifiers and a yoga mat. So it's kind of like a giant jumble sale, only the items are new (though sometimes damaged or missing parts).

They've had a decent selection of gluten free stuff, too, and cereal at $5. for 3 boxes is great, especially when the brands are mainline and pricey ones like Kashi, Cherrios, etc. We're not tea or coffee drinkers, but I've seen Starbucks flavors and other exotic brews all at discounted prices, and they even have the $1. container of mini dried marshmallows that are so great in cocoa and on ice cream. We've been shopping there for just under a year, and the staff (I think most are family?) has always been kind and friendly. We're just so grateful that between McGary's, dollar discount places and thrift stores, we do ok on a fixed income and can even splurge on the occasional bag of Brookside chocolates or mini marshmallows. Some items are expired so if that bothers you, don't waste your time. The place was packed to the brim, I could've spent a couple of hours walking around. OK, I've been here three times now spent 1 to 2 hours each time and so far haven't bought anything…read more Number one make sure you have a cell phone that you can look things up on Home Depot because that's how you find the prices. Unfortunately, I have to be in a Wi-Fi area in order to use my phone like that. And they don't have Wi-Fi. I needed very specific things size wise. And you're not allowed to open packaging but when you pick up a lamp and you lightly shake it and you hear broken glass, but you're not allowed to open up the package and see what exactly broke why bother buying it at half price if you're not gonna be able to use it. This happened repeatedly also I was looking for a specific size bathroom medicine cabinet. Since much of the writing on the boxes didn't have dimensions, and I couldn't open the boxes because it's against the rules. I could find boxes that I think might've had the right sized item inside but I really couldn't take the gamble especially when I can't see if they're scratches or dents or a door ripped off, etc. I think the only thing I will come back here for is tile. If you're doing a craft project and you need a few pieces of tile or you're doing something special to cover a table top and you only need a few feet. This is the place to come for the tile. Unfortunately, the majority of the tile is not labeled and not priced and I hate having to run up to the counter every single time I find something to find out how much it's gonna cost. It's just ridiculous. I found a similar place, not too far away, where the people don't mind if you open the items to look at them and they will even go so far as to take a light fixture and wire it to a test area to show you that it works. That had a few skin care products, some food, and a lot of return items from like amazon. A lot of the things were still in the plastics wrap so i couldn't see a lot of the items. Most of their skin care and toothpaste might be expired, im not 100% sure. I thought it was a very neat store but the reason for the three stars is because after i made it around the store, i was at the make up table, and in the baskets that were holding the make up palettes, i spot a HUGE dead cockaroach.
