I shopped here the other day to take advantage of a 20%-off-everything sale. I spent roughly $70 on items ranging from V8 juice to black beans to cans of chopped clams. It's sort a random grab bag of merch; you can't do a full grocery shopping here, but you can find good deals on select items. I m on a quest to find the orange metal patio drum. There are two more big lots in Tucson to visit. This time a nice rep volunteered to call the last stop out on Harrison Road to check. Save me a hour drive. They are sold out too. But they may come Back. Btw the hours here are 9-9 pm. Nice clean store. Plenty of staff. read more

Yesterday I saw these big beautiful flower pots. Saw them in my dreams, need to put my lime tree in a big pot. Today I returned to Get That Pot. Only 1 left, and then.... Kim the cashier called Tiffany with the pallet to ask if there were more pots, cuz I wanted two. Tiffany say yes, but in different colors. Ohhhhhhh!?! Hmmm, sounds interesting! Long story long, I get The Big Blue Pot, another fabulous pot and 4 lovely green flower pots. Tiffany whirled and twirled the pallet jacks and revealed the gorgeous pots. We spent about 30 minutes getting the new pots , no breaks, no fuss.... That gal Tiffany worked her buns off to get those great pots! read more

I've been to a lot of biglots before however this store really stands out. Always friendly employees, Isle are clean, they do their best with the clearance one lol some customers tear up the clearance isle like their digging for gold It's clean, organized, great prices don't waist your money on decor or electronic gadgets try shopping here first! This is a good Big Lots. I almost always wind up purchasing something here, from tea to cereal to solar powered lights, and one time a flat screen TV (and it works great). I love the cleaning supplies and it has a great car supplies section. I've ended up with shower curtains and snack bars and even organic oatmeal. And they usually have a good DVD selection. Like many of these stores you need to go back every week or so and see what they have because things change and get replenished. One week can be a dud, the next a treasure cove. I usually wind up waiting too long in line here and it gets irritating, but that's why the prices stay LOW! read more

I was there yesterday, purchased a grocery item and a home item. The grocery item was 10 days past its expiration date. I didn't think a store was allowed to sell expired foods. I didn't notice until I got home. As I stood in line, there were a couple people with just a handful of items ahead of me. Another worker was chatting with the cashier, the customer was on his cell phone, and we all waited and waited and waited. Finally the worker chatting with the cashier waved us over to another cash register. I have had much better experience in this store. What happened???? Big Lots is one of my favorite places to shop for the cleaning materials. I came to this store and I was not very impressed that the store did not keep itself clean. The floor was so obviously dirty and that made me feel like I shop in the poverty store. I plan to go to a different Big Lots sometime next week. I've experienced better in this type of supposedly warehouse type shopping. Just before Halloween and if you have kids this is probably the best place to get cheaper items for the "kidlets" like costumes and such. Aisles and aisles of household goods, cleaning products, skin products, jewelry, Holiday lights, regular lights, bathroom and kitchen items. Most products are not made in the U.S. so the quality is not very good. You get a better deal at Bed N' Bath with the 20% coupons and a better product. Pet food, human food, cans, frozen stuff, toys, TV's, car supplies. Very organized and fully packed with everything under the sun. However, I think 99Cent store is probably a better value. I was looking for a Shami cloth that I used to get at the 99 cent store. It was great alternative to a rag. I'm always cleaning everything in sight and this was so good. No smudging and reusable.. They stopped making that kind I liked and they had something that looked like it but was useless. So I thought maybe Big Lots might have it. No luck. read more
