This store DOES NOT CARE. They only hire young and inexperienced staff, middle management clearly does not know how to train or communicate how important expiration dates on perishable foods are. Upper management is detached from the team and likely spends zero time on the floor. A 5 minute spot check on your departments/department heads would tell you everything you need to know. I have photos and receipts for everything I am posting here. If you care about you or your family's health DO NOT BUY PERISHABLE FOODS HERE. They are lucky they have not been shut down and sued. I can not tell you the last time I went to Walmart...at least two years. I have my groceries…read moredelivered from Fry's. My friend who was living with me, could not get to the store, so she selected Fry's for grocery delivery. I work to much to go to the store regularly...so this trip was like discovering a new store! Full disclosure...I went because I have a work event coming up, and I needed something a bit more dressy than a t shirt and Jeans. I had forgotten how enormous the store is. I picked up a sweater for the event, and two bags of miracle grow soil. Those of you who know me.....know gardening is not my thing. I am learning because my friend with ALS passed away, and she did so much work on my yard to make it amazing. To honor her I am learning to take care of the plants and bushes she planted. The staff were super helpful, and I figured since I was there I may as well pick up a few groceries. I saw a lot of staff "front and facing" items, and stocking shelves. The store looked organized and I LOVED looking down the aisles and seeing all the organized front facing items. Lots of self check out lanes, and a staff member always around to handle snafu's.

The secret is to get a box and load it up. You're generally charged per box which makes the hunt worthwhile. Larger items in the back are priced individually, however no prices are listed so good luck at the front.
