Full menu great Lunch or Supper!
Gary A.

The 99 Restaurant in Taunton was a first time visit. They have very friendly, helpful staff And the food is very, very good! I took advantage of their lunch specials and it was tremendous! The beef was amazing and the Tex-Mex plentiful. A little tricky to maneuver into the place for 1st timers because of the location but once your there your home! Plenty of parking and bring the family. The variety drinks for the adults and choice desserts for the you who can afford the calories are all awesome. :)

This place used to be so good but it has really gone down hill. The Hot Buttered Colossal Lobster roll 'piled high on a grilled brioche roll' was the leftover bottom of the barrel lobster meat, full of shells. The grilled brioche roll was a cheap low end supermarket hot dog roll. So disappointing. For $30 I expected a much better meal.

The 99 restaurant on Dean street in Taunton has very friendly staff and the food is very good! It's kind of a tough location with a few roads coming into RT138 in the area, so be careful! If your close by, I'd definitely recommend the 99 in Taunton!

Smothered steak tips with loaded mash. Delishhhh

Always good food when i come here. Went on wednesday so there was no wait, we walked right in and sat in a comfy booth. Waitress was a bit slow, we had to ask for our cheese and crackers 2x. Barbados Breeze mixed drink was yummy but lacking on the alcohol. Sirloin tips were cooked a perfect medium rare, portion size was great. Def had plenty to take home. Loaded mash tatoes are always a delight. Gooey mix of cheeses and bacon. Food was nice and hot too! Will return as usual..

Fit for you salmon

Very upset at our takeout order, we got the smallest piece of salmon and three pieces of asparagus that is literally the size of a blade of grass. This isn't even close to a decent proportion for the cost of what we paid. We are regulars here and I'm appalled at this. We also asked for a burger well done and it came raw. Can't even eat it. We will not be returning to this 99 restaurant anymore cause this is not the first time we have been displeased with their lack of portions, how they pack their to go boxes, and messing up our to go orders. You people need to be better than this.

On a busy Saturday evening we got lots of smiles and were seated right away. Service (Kenneth) was excellent. But the food was mixed results - scrod was overdone, the bread crust on top even smelled burnt, the fries (pictured) were cooked in old grease. Remarkably, the kids meal that came w fries 10 min earlier were OK, so they just needed to change over 1 fryer. Kids chicken strips were excellent, so was the burger, and sides of broccoli and cole slaw...we've had better here before but we'll be back. I'm sure they would've accommodated if we would have sent the cod and fries back but we're tired and hungry...

Nachos smachos it was ok but the mango mai tai was delish.

This place is amazing! My parents went here before and they brought me along this time,…read morespecifically for the hot honey tenders and onion strings. If you go, the tenders are an absolute must- we got 2 orders to go as well! We also got the chocolate pistachio martini and the Neil's lullaby alcoholic drinks- both amazing. My dad got 2 of the Neil's because it was so good. My mom's entree was fish and chips which was perfect. There wasn't a lot of extra batter on it which was great. My dad got the clam chowder bread bowl and barbecued steak tips and coleslaw. Both were incredible obviously. I got the smokehouse chicken sandwich which was, again, incredible. Lastly, we split one of their specials of the day which was toffee pudding with mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was so yummy but I didn't like the texture of the bread pudding (just my own weird thing, the flavor was still great). Their portions are HUGEEEEEE so you'll definitely need to-go boxes and extra room in the fridge. I saved my appetite all day to eat here and it was most definitely worth it. The service was great, all of the staff were very friendly. We went during the lunch rush on a Saturday so we had to wait about 30 minutes for inside seating. They do have outdoor tent seating with heat but we liked the look of the place inside and really wanted to sit there. We will absolutely be coming here again soon!

As I understand…read moreit, there are two alternating bands that let musicians/singers sign in and then perform in turn on their own instruments(except the drums for obvious reasons). I thought the band was good in all of its incarnations. There is a definite music theme throughout the décor. From the mural of rockers which covers an entire wall to the Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin base drums and the guitar shaped neon. If you wanted to watch the band and could not get a seat in the front room, there were a couple of cctv's showing the performers in the back and bar area. There is a full bar of about 20 seats with a decent selection of draft beer. When we were there the place was packed and the two bartenders were doing a good job of keeping up with the demand. There were about ten tables and no waitresses. You can order at the bar but I believe a sign is needed to direct one to the appropriate place to order. Food is available. We had a pizza that was very good. Mike

Sigh, welcome to West Bridgewater, chthonic purgatory. Food: I started with a small, side salad, a Caesar which was surprisingly ice cold, fresh and good. For a main I had the J&J Salmon with two sides: green beans and Brussel sprouts. Again, surprisingly cooked exceptionally well. My bride and sister/brother-in-law had coffee which was brewed for them, so very fresh. I'd give them a 5-star rating if not for two things. First, they've no Perrier, Saratoga Springs, or Pellegrino bottled water. In fact, not even a bottle of Poland Springs, Polar, etc. nothing. I don't drink the West Bridgewater tap water - you'd be insane too ... it either smells fishy or tastes like chlorinated pool water. No joke. Secondly, the place was God-awful loud. I mean cerebral spinal fluid leaking from my ears: sport games, music, and screaming kids. The experience and ambiance (bad) but decent pub food (surprisingly good) causes me to give this place four stars. Eye twitching, but hey, at least I left my gang colors at home! Other than that, Mrs Lincoln, how was the play?

Had the sushi once, not bad but the roll was not terribly big or robust. Skinny. I've had the Caesar Salad which is pretty good; the best thing I've had there. The Cobb Salad is good but very small - more like a side salad. Prices are reasonable. The parking is fine. Staff is good. The place is God-awful loud with TVs blasting sports and speakers blasting music. Not my cuppa, but they do a good Caesar. 3.5 Stars.
