I've been here many times over the years and have always been satisfied. Went the other day for a quick lunch and it was great. I noticed all the negative reviews and partially understand. Yes the menu is extensive and the space is very large. However, this is not an upscale restaurant and if that's what you are expecting you're in the wrong place. Stick to the basics and sit at the bar if you are childless. Service is always on point. I get the cheeseburger rare with L,T,O, & pickles. First timer here! Stopped in for a late lunch. The menu is extensive and it has many classic favorites. Lots of Ladies Who Lunch present with smaller parties sprinkled throughout. I had a very delicious Greek Chicken Salad Wrap filled with ample chicken, feta and Kalamata olives with the perfect amount of dressing. The French fries were hot and crisp. My friend had the 1/2 BLT Wedge salad and 1/2 turkey sandwich. The salad was huge and didn't skimp on bacon. The only complaint would be to serve it on a larger dinner plate so it wasn't a struggle keeping it from falling off. The sandwich was also generously sized for a half. The waiter was fine. The food was not. We were 6 people for dinner on Sunday 03/15/26. The nacho's were awful. Just cheese and not melted. Turkey tips were sent back tasted bad. I came with my friends a few weeks ago. We had Cam as our server and he was amazing. 3/5 of our people had severe allergies and he was patient and very accommodating. Our server was pleasant but was not very good at serving. Our food came cold, my "French dip" was mush and the meat was full of fat - it was inedible. The French fries were cold too and she never checked back bc she and hostess were chatting the entire time we sat there. Oh and when we sat down, my husband asked for a Pilsner and she said we don't have Pilsner and started rapid fire listing what they have. I asked for a beer menu and sure enough, several pilsners were listed. She asked if I wanted to take home the sandwich- 95% of it was still on my plate! Has gone downhill.... Food not as good ...chicken tenders are awful.... Burger was okay but forgot to put in tomatos, lettuce and pickles

Went there Friday night with my wife. We ordered buffalo chicken dip and it was delicious. Then we ordered Bourbon Steak tips with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Well here is where it "falls apart ". The mashed potatoes were not real and made from a box. When I brought it up to the bartender that they were not real potatoes, she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. She then said she was gonna go and get the manager, but, needless to say the manager never came over. I then noticed that the gentleman next to me ordered salmon with mashed potatoes. He also noticed that they were not real potatoes. So, my question to this restaurant is, how do you serve steaks with fake potatoes? Needless to say I will not return and it's very sad because I live locally and have been coming there for years. read more

One of the more perplexing places I've eaten as of late. The menu is way too diverse to have any identity/specialty to start with. Our servers were very kind and attentive but the 1 star is fully based on the food. The cook on my short rib was decent, but I couldn't finish the plate due to how sweet the sauce was. This was a common theme from several dishes ordered by the group, the scallops with risotto and "seafood from hell" pasta were all so overly sweet, hardly anyone finished their whole meal. The "roasted" brussel sprouts were flavorless and were still light green when they came to the table. Reserved their private room for an event this past week and was very pleased. The food was solid, the staff was very helpful and worked with our group during a presentation, and the pricing was very reasonable. If I have another event in the area I will definitely use their space again. read more

I really can't recommend the Stoneforge Grill -- the interior is spacious and looks nice with good lighting but the food is really awful. There's a very large menu that's all over the place -- they serve scallops but then also pizza and "korean" wraps? -- unfortunately both things we tried (spinach artichoke drip and pizza) were not very good at all. The spinach artichoke dip was really heavy and creamy but not in a good way; it was made with a lumpy sort of weird cheese texture and the chips were hard and brittle. The pizza was OK but it's usually very hard to make pizza outright bad. Apparently, their crab cakes are good; maybe they do better with seafood? The service staff was nice (hence 2 stars vs. 1). read more

We were in Easton, MA, totally out of our area, and came here on a recommendation from a service tech at the car dealership we were at. Found it real easy, just down the street from the dealer. We were really early, and got right in. What a beautiful restaurant! We were seated by the fireplace, and could see the open kitchen. It was a large restaurant, it looked like there were a few rooms, along with a large bar. The specials looked delicious, but we thought the prices were high and were ready to order a couple of appetizers. But when we opened the menus, we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices actually were. Our waitress, Lily, was very good and attentive to our minimal needs. We ordered, and waited what seemed like a pretty long time for our meal. We did have to ask for bread after seeing other tables receive it. Boy, we were glad we did! They were warm ciabatta rolls, soft, airy and delicious. It came with a dipping oil with garlic and Parm, OMG, to die for. We finally got our meal, and Lily apologized several times for the delay. Not her fault.... She wasn't doing the cooking. Our conclusion.... It was all well worth the wait! I had chicken Milanese, which came with 2 sides. I chose mashed potatoes and the chef's seasonal choice, mashed butternut. Fantastic!! The mashed potatoes did taste like a good quality instant. Although butternut isn't my veg of choice, it was very good! A pleasant surprise. My husband ordered asiago chicken which was served of a bed of risotto, and the butternut side. He is not a fan of risotto, so he took my sides, and I took his! We were both very happy. Lily told us later (when I asked) they do allow for some substitutions. By the way, my husband loved his chicken! This place was over an hour away from our home, but we have decided that is would definitely be worth the ride at some other time. read more

Went for dinner tonight at the Stoneforge Grill for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is large, comfortable, nicely decorated and enjoyable. The hostess greeted us and brought us right to a table and was very friendly. Our waitress was also very friendly and on top of service. I ordered the margarita flight and my friend ordered a salted caramel espresso martini. The menu had a great variety of choices as well. We decided to get the 3 course meal deal for $34.00 which included an individual appetizer, a garden, Caesar salad or a dessert. We decided on the salad versus the dessert. I started with the shrimp cocktail which was fresh with homemade cocktail sauce. Then the garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette which was fresh and perfectly portioned for a multi course meal. For my entree I chose the surf and turf with 2 baked stuffed shrimp and a small petite filet with roasted corn, mashed potatoes and melted butter. Everything came out hot and cooked properly. The corn was delicious as was the rest of the meal. My friend ordered the bacon wrapped scallops, garden salad and braised short ribs with corn and mashed potatoes and raved about how good it was. I am glad we decided to stop here after a google search of restaurants in the area where we were shopping. We will definitely be going again. Had a wonderful work holiday celebration here today and our server Emily was amazingly pleasant, patient and attentive. We occupied two 12 tops and there was plenty of room to move around and the restaurant was decorated nicely for the season. We have had lunch here several times. It seems we get an attitude from the hostess when we bring our grandson and ask for a high chair, which sets the tone for our meal. My friend chose Stoneforge Grill for my belated Birthday Lunch 11/19/24. To our Surprise it was Tacos Tuesday. Our Server was amazing and she made amazing Martini ( I used a driver service) . I started with 4/Jumbo Shrimp Cocktails Yumo, then 2/Tacos Fish and Shrimp sooooo delicious. Should have worn sweats and I would have had 6 instead of 2 . My friend started with a Bowl of Clam Chowder and 3/ Tacos ( that paired well with his Beer) Fish, Beef and Shrimp. He said "Everything was delicious and Stoneforge will be a repeat ". Ate at Stoneforge for the first time in a few months. They have upped their game, and the results are great! Fabulous bar staff ( as always); nice updates to the menu. I had the chicken Milanese, which was outstanding. Husband had salmon; perfectly done, and a respectable portion (unlike the competitor across the drive.) Happy to see Stoneforge raising their game. This was the worst food I've had in a while! We got two appetizers, calamari and tuna tartare. Tuna tartare had stale chips and the calamari was just not tasting right. For my meal, I got chicken lettuce wraps as I had slightly lost my appetite after the appetizers, and my husband got chicken piccata. My food looked and tasted like dog food! I believe it was canned chicken that was serviced to me topped with some hot sauce and wontons. My husbands piccata was mushy and gross. She had been a few times and had a good experience so we thought we would give it a try We got seated pretty quickly, but then waited close to 15 minutes to have a server come to the table. She was very pleasant. We ordered the Korean Beef wraps for an app. I would review them, but they never came. When we asked, she said that they were sitting in the window a long time so she asked them to make us new ones. As she left, our food came, so we told them to forget the app. My burger was ok. I asked for a bacon cheeseburger with onion, pickles and mustard. It came with Lettuce, onion. No mustard or pickles. I asked for both and they brought over a few pickles and asked Honey Mustard or yellow. I said yellow, and they brought Grey Poupon. . I know they had yellow French's because I could see it in one of their cabinets. Finally got it. Again my burger was just ok. My wife's burger, no pickles and was charded so she couldn't really eat it. She ordered it medium. So very disappointed, promontory be back for food. read more

Food quality is poor with about 100 different options and no real identity. Had a hard time justifying the price associated with poor quality. 18.00 for a small Greek salad with grilled Chicken. White lettuce, basic feta, standard olives. Chicken was clearly boiled or microwaved with small grill marks. Service was good and ambiance is also good. Advice: Instead of having 100 item menu and not really going anything good cut the menu to 1 page and do a couple things exceptional. Also, have a food identity that fits the atmosphere. This spacious restaurant has many great apps. I'd go here for apps and drinks. My favorite was the clam casino. The restaurant is a bit noisy and semi packed on a Friday night. After eating some soup, clams and oysters I was full. I ate a little of my entree (pasta from hell is the name) and packed it to-go. I ordered a small portion of pasta but it looked big to me. We've given Stoneforge Grill a few chances, but our most recent visit was beyond disappointing. My mom and I ordered French onion soup, and the crocks it came in were badly chipped with sharp, broken edges and exposed ceramic -- clearly unsafe and unsanitary. We politely pointed this out to the bartender, who agreed it wasn't okay and got the manager. Instead of acknowledging the problem, the manager brushed it off with "Yeah, so? What's the big deal?" and even said he's been doing this for 20 years and never had anyone complain. His defensive, dismissive attitude made it seem like we were just complaining for the sake of complaining, when in reality we weren't looking for a freebie or to take anything off the bill -- we were only trying to make them aware of a genuine safety concern. The level of rudeness and disrespect left us shocked, and the fact that management defends serving chipped, broken dishes is unprofessional, unsafe, and the reason we won't be returning. read more

I have been here quite a few times but thought I would drop a review once again. I like this restaurant and bar for meeting friends for lunch or dinner. It's a large establishment and I have never had to wait for a table. We usually visit in the afternoon for lunch so we can sit for a while and have coffee and or cocktails after we eat. We love the people that work here and never feel rushed out the door. It's one of the reasons we select this place to meet. The menu is quite extensive so you will find what you enjoy without a doubt. I enjoy the "make your own salad" so I can order what I enjoy the most. The pecan encrusted chicken is so delicious and usually an automatic for me. The burgers are also my favorite for days I don't order the salads. My friends and family have had different sandwich wraps and the turkey club which they loved. I had a beef Marsala soup once that was the best soup I ever had (even ordered a few to go). The employees are always friendly and helpful. Thanks for a nice restaurant, it's a family favorite for us even though we do not live close, it's worth the ride for us. read more

I was surprised I really enjoyed this place. My boyfriend brought me here because it was gorgeous outside and the patio didn't disappoint; although some music would enhance the vibe. Then, we ordered drinks and, although my jalapeño margarita was tasty, I wasn't asked if I wanted the rim salted. I was a bit disappointed it wasn't salted, but it was tasty nonetheless.
