    California Turkey Sandwich

First timer here! Stopped in for a late lunch. The menu is extensive and it has many classic favorites. Lots of Ladies Who Lunch present with smaller parties sprinkled throughout. I had a very delicious Greek Chicken Salad Wrap filled with ample chicken, feta and Kalamata olives with the perfect amount of dressing. The French fries were hot and crisp. My friend had the 1/2 BLT Wedge salad and 1/2 turkey sandwich. The salad was huge and didn't skimp on bacon. The only complaint would be to serve it on a larger dinner plate so it wasn't a struggle keeping it from falling off. The sandwich was also generously sized for a half. Our server was excellent, though her name escapes me. Looking forward to coming back for dinner in the future.

    Spinach artichoke dip

I really can't recommend the Stoneforge Grill -- the interior is spacious and looks nice with good lighting but the food is really awful. There's a very large menu that's all over the place -- they serve scallops but then also pizza and "korean" wraps? -- unfortunately both things we tried (spinach artichoke drip and pizza) were not very good at all. The spinach artichoke dip was really heavy and creamy but not in a good way; it was made with a lumpy sort of weird cheese texture and the chips were hard and brittle. The pizza was OK but it's usually very hard to make pizza outright bad. Apparently, their crab cakes are good; maybe they do better with seafood? The service staff was nice (hence 2 stars vs. 1).

    Asiago chicken over risotto

We were in Easton, MA, totally out of our area, and came here on a recommendation from a service tech at the car dealership we were at. Found it real easy, just down the street from the dealer. We were really early, and got right in. What a beautiful restaurant! We were seated by the fireplace, and could see the open kitchen. It was a large restaurant, it looked like there were a few rooms, along with a large bar. The specials looked delicious, but we thought the prices were high and were ready to order a couple of appetizers. But when we opened the menus, we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices actually were. Our waitress, Lily, was very good and attentive to our minimal needs. We ordered, and waited what seemed like a pretty long time for our meal. We did have to ask for bread after seeing other tables receive it. Boy, we were glad we did! They were warm ciabatta rolls, soft, airy and delicious. It came with a dipping oil with garlic and Parm, OMG, to die for. We finally got our meal, and Lily apologized several times for the delay. Not her fault.... She wasn't doing the cooking. Our conclusion.... It was all well worth the wait! I had chicken Milanese, which came with 2 sides. I chose mashed potatoes and the chef's seasonal choice, mashed butternut. Fantastic!! The mashed potatoes did taste like a good quality instant. Although butternut isn't my veg of choice, it was very good! A pleasant surprise. My husband ordered asiago chicken which was served of a bed of risotto, and the butternut side. He is not a fan of risotto, so he took my sides, and I took his! We were both very happy. Lily told us later (when I asked) they do allow for some substitutions. By the way, my husband loved his chicken! This place was over an hour away from our home, but we have decided that is would definitely be worth the ride at some other time.

Salted caramel espresso martini and a margarita flight.

Went for dinner tonight at the Stoneforge Grill for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is large, comfortable, nicely decorated and enjoyable. The hostess greeted us and brought us right to a table and was very friendly. Our waitress was also very friendly and on top of service. I ordered the margarita flight and my friend ordered a salted caramel espresso martini. The menu had a great variety of choices as well. We decided to get the 3 course meal deal for $34.00 which included an individual appetizer, a garden, Caesar salad or a dessert. We decided on the salad versus the dessert. I started with the shrimp cocktail which was fresh with homemade cocktail sauce. Then the garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette which was fresh and perfectly portioned for a multi course meal. For my entree I chose the surf and turf with 2 baked stuffed shrimp and a small petite filet with roasted corn, mashed potatoes and melted butter. Everything came out hot and cooked properly. The corn was delicious as was the rest of the meal. My friend ordered the bacon wrapped scallops, garden salad and braised short ribs with corn and mashed potatoes and raved about how good it was. I am glad we decided to stop here after a google search of restaurants in the area where we were shopping. We will definitely be going again. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal at a good price.

Food was mediocre. Service was fine. Place just wasn't as nice inside as I thought it would be based on the outside and other reviews.

Have you ever gone to an…read moreestablishment and felt like you must have missed the sign on the door that had a picture of your face on it that read "DO NOT SERVE"? Because that's essentially how we were treated by our server. She was an older woman with brow hair and the coldest demeanor I have ever encountered in a brewery or restaurant setting. It took fifteen minutes to get menus and another twenty minutes until I got up and just went straight to the bar to order our drinks and food. I know--at that point we should have left, but we have been here before and enjoyed the beer. We tried to politely get her attention several times, and I swear each time she would zoom right by us or even take a totally different path among tables. Like I said, I took my business straight up to the bar and the bartender was super sweet and put our order in and brought our drinks in a couple of minutes. The OG waitress came back with the food order and slammed some napkins down on the table and trotted off. My friend and I both just stared at each other and laughed. We were sitting at a communal table alongside a couple and the gentleman said, "She's got a gentle touch, doesn't she?" We had a good laugh, but the couple confirmed that this had been the vibe since they arrived a half hour before us. In that respect, I guess the OG waitress helped to build community last night, leaving us not to wonder, "Did we do something wrong," but rather, "Woof, wonder what's wrong in her world." It didn't last long though. She stopped by once at last call to which my friend immediately declined. The OG waitress then brought the checks for both parties, though oddly, she collected the couples next to us and the folks behind us, but not ours. We watched the couple leave and the table behind us, and again, we watched the OG waitress totally avoid eye contact and literally clear half our table and surrounding trash, but seemed to be adamant about not taking our cards to process. So again, we traveled to the bar to settle up and leave. The OG waitress came up and was talking to the bartender and clearly stated, "Next time, I'm not doing this. I'm going to be behind the bar and you're gonna be running the floor." Boy, we do love a lack of accountability and a poor team player! In regard to the beer, I ordered the Cape House, which was OK and my friend ordered the Vanilla Cream Madagascar which she really did enjoy. We ordered wings and queso. The wings were super dry and came with what was a low quality, store bought blue cheese dip. The queso cheese was really disappointing--it had a pleasant kick to it, but it also had a grainy texture. The tortilla chips that came with the queso were stale! Unfortunately, I will be back here as they also charged my card TWICE last night. Wish me luck!

If you go, the tenders are an absolute must- we got 2 orders to go as well! We also got the chocolate pistachio martini and the Neil's lullaby alcoholic drinks- both amazing. My dad got the clam chowder bread bowl and barbecued steak tips and coleslaw. Both were incredible obviously. I got the smokehouse chicken sandwich which was, again, incredible. Lastly, we split one of their specials of the day which was toffee pudding with mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was so yummy but I didn't like the texture of the bread pudding (just my own weird thing, the flavor was still great). Their portions are HUGEEEEEE so you'll definitely need to-go boxes and extra room in the fridge. I saved my appetite all day to eat here and it was most definitely worth it.
