Been shopping this location for almost 20 years! Quality of the products goes up and down. Back in…read morethe day, like 10 years ago, they actually used to have a lot more designer shoe options. Like I'm talking really expensive designer at a fraction of the cost. I haven't seen designer shoes at this location for years now. It's unfortunate because that was one of my favorite aspects of shopping here. Now the only "designer" items, if you can call it that, they carry, are Kate Spade and Dooney and Bourke bags (which are hilariously kept locked in a glass case). I've seen the random higher end like Tiffany's keychain and Valentino sunglasses. But you're hard pressed to find any high-end designer items at this location. They do have a fabulous home section, though. Pillows and towels and decorative knickknacks at this location. And they actually do carry some great decorative furniture pieces too. I get some great deals on clothing for my six-year-old daughter. If she needs new clothes, this is my first stop before Target. I would say for the most part, the store is kept as organized as it can be considering how much product they have to put out in the space they have. The fitting rooms could be cleaner. There's always balls of dust on the floors in the fitting rooms. They could stand to run a vacuum through there every morning. I have always found the staff to be pleasant. The only annoying thing is when you are checking out they consistently ask if you want to get the Marshalls/TJ Maxx credit card. And they think they are enticing you with 10% off your purchase if you join. But if you actually do your homework, you'll see that the interest on their company's credit card is outrageous - making that 10% off irrelevant. Don't fall for it unless you plan on paying off your purchase immediately. Otherwise getting their credit card is kind of a trap.

They have a huge parking lot out front that is shared with other businesses in that strip mall. They also offer several handicap parking spots. Right when you walk in they had a clearance section where I found a Velvet Caviar phone accessories set for $16. That's quite a deal. Normally they are $99. I found a couple of cute St. Patrick's Day decorated plush cats. I got one for myself and one for my BFF. There selection of St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day and Easter decor and gifts is exceptional. They had a lovely selection of wrapping paper. I found a roll that had strawberries all over it. I had to get one of those. The checkout line was not bad. They had plenty of employees at the checkout which made the line move fast. Everything in the store is displayed so nice and is very organized. I definitely recommend shopping here.

The prices are beyond great if you love vintage clothing and know fabrics. I may have found my favorite dress of all time here for a whopping $14 (because it's a two piece set of decorative vintage fabric) it was in the premium section and the volunteers were adorable making sure I knew why it was priced this way. (I couldn't afford a yard of this fabric retail I'm giddy about a vintage two piece set that I can customize). To then discover that the proceeds go to support women's scholarships was the ultimate bonus! My grand total for everything was $54 and I happily gave my change to the donation bucket by the register. If you are in the area and love unique vintage items this is a must explore. I had to resist the urge to buy several of the tea cup collections. I'm a sucker for vintage tea sets and they have several that are stunning! Great shop, fantastic volunteers who are donating their time to support a wonderful cause.

It's probably the best bet to get a gift that is cute and unique but you want it to lean more towards being western and not too kawaii and anime. Think of gifting a punny keychain or cute Jellycat versus a Chiikawa plushie or anime acrylic if that makes sense. Meaning that it's probably easier and maybe more acceptable to get a slightly more normie a gift here than it is elsewhere. As you can see, I'm learning what it's like to touch grass and re-integrate into human society. There's a good number of plushies, Jellycat and unique ones like a pink fairy armadillo mole one, tote bags and socks, nice range of jewelry, lots of California themed goods if you're looking for souvenirs that aren't mega generic, and they have a lot of other items as well. As with the quality and high regard some of these items have (Jellycats are NOT cheap), it can be a bit pricier, so make sure that you shop around and check prices elsewhere and that you actually truly care about the person you're getting stuff for and it's not a forced obligation one (family member you're ugh with or coworker Secret Santa that you barely know). Maybe a couple cute things I had my eye on, but it wasn't really for me (speaks volumes about me), but I can see how a store like this works in a pinch if you're gift shopping.

Shopping gave me so much anxiety because of the endless options that I would usually just give up and settle for whatever was cheapest and simplest. Reaching out to a stylist was somewhat of a last-ditch effort to redefine myself and feel more like myself again after becoming a mom. Andie immediately knew the right questions to ask and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. My best advice to anyone working with her is to be as communicative and specific as possible about the types of outfits you want and the occasions you need them for, because she really does pay attention to the details you share when choosing pieces for your wardrobe. One thing I especially appreciate is that she sends her clients a monthly email with curated picks for the season. I find these incredibly helpful when I want to add something new without having to figure out on my own what's current, what works for the season, or what's actually worth buying. For someone like me who doesn't have the time or natural ability to put outfits together in a way that makes me feel good, Andie has become such a valuable resource. She's also gone beyond just clothing. After two kids and so many changes to my body, she helped me find an amazing local lingerie shop where I could be properly resized and find undergarments that made me feel beautiful again. If you're considering investing in yourself and your personal style, I can genuinely say this has been such a worthwhile investment for me. Looking good really can make you feel good, and working with Andie has helped me find that feeling again.

Despite making all the usual stops when we started shopping for furniture in our new home, we were…read morestill struggling to find a dining room table that we loved in our price range. Fortunately we popped into Gingko's downtown showroom on a whim. Cliff & Jerry were great with answering questions and when we said "it's too bad we can't pair that top with those legs they jumped in with "of course we can". We walked out with a bench for the foot of our bed and a custom walnut table with bespoke dimensions and base on-order far more affordably than I'd thought possible. That experience was fresh in our minds when Crate & Barrel delivered a 4th defective dresser (and a final straw in our patience with them) from their beautiful but deeply flawed Linea collection. We negotiated with Crate & Barrel to take back the entire bedroom set given the saga we'd been through, and placed an order for a new set with Gingko. Gingko had our bed and nightstands installed within the week, with a few more months to deliver another custom piece--a wider version of a standard dresser to better fit our space. We've now received everything and absolutely love them. The ability to work with the Gingko team to make tweaks to dimensions and design that fit our style and space has been incredible--all at same or better prices to what we found at Crate & Barrel, etc. While the range of designs is of smaller than what the big guys offer, the Gingko team punches well above their weight and their ability to tweak and customize pieces at reasonable price points makes them an easy recommendation for us to make to anyone shopping for quality walnut furniture!
