We bought two very nice rocker swivel chairs right before the covid shutdown in 2020. I've ended up…read moresitting in one of them almost non-stop since then, as I work from home, and it's become my command-central spot. Not only have the chairs held up perfectly since then, the one time I had a cord problem from one of my own silly free-range guinea pigs who managed to quite mangle one of the cords (no animals were harmed, thank goodness and now blocked off), but when we couldn't fix it ourselves, they came out, picked up the chair, FIXED it, and returned it, practically within an hour!! OMG. I work in ecommerce and deal in customer service every day, all day, and I have to say, this was by far the BEST customer service I've ever experienced. Holy Smokes, I'm impressed!

A huge thank you to Georgette and Sophie for taking such amazing care of us during our meal, and to Patrick for being so friendly and helping us take some great pictures! As for the food, it is definitely on the pricier side, but absolutely delicious! I think their wine is too expensive for a glass but the food kind of makes sense. * Starters: We had the Haas avocado caviar and the Buretta. Definitely make sure to order some starters because they set the bar high! I am still dreaming about that caviar--it was easily my favorite. * Entrees: We ordered the Salmon, roasted chicken, and steak frites. Everything was cooked beautifully. I was helping my mom shop for a rectangular solid wood table with simple wooden chairs (no fabric seats), which was surprisingly hard to find in other furniture stores. Heather was quick to greet us and advise us on different options, but also gave us plenty of time and space to look around. Other stores were so pushy and focused on making a sale, but Heather felt like a friend who's goal was to share her knowledge about the different styles and materials to make sure you find your dream set. She helped us find a beautiful dining set that was the perfect color, material, style, and price! The delivery cost was one of the cheapest ($75) and they were the only store who had an option to take away your old table (for another $75 which is a steal considering other options would cost over $100 and would require coordinating with another company). Heather even asked us what type of flooring we had, so they could install the appropriate pads or feet on the table. We bought the table on Dec 20, and were about to get the table on Dec 27! Other stores wouldn't be able to deliver until January and it was the holidays. We were given a two-hour window for the delivery, and the delivery men arrived at the very beginning of the time window! Despite needing to take away our large expandable table with nine chairs through a narrow hallway before dropping off the new set, they were in and out in only about 30 mins. They also leveled the table and showed us how in case we moved the table and needed to level it again. Everyone we interacted with at California Dining and Bar Stools were phenomenal. I honestly couldn't have asked for better selection or customer service! We went to a lot of other furniture stores beforehand, and they were by far the best. Harry Singh only seems to respond to emails about once every two weeks, making it almost impossible to move the order process forward. Calling isn't any better--you end up on hold for a very long time, and when someone finally answers, they often ask if they can call you back. Unfortunately, those callbacks never happen. I've also left multiple voicemails without ever receiving the help I needed. I'm sure the in-store staff is wonderful, but since special orders have to be handled over the phone, the lack of communication and follow-through has made the experience incredibly frustrating. I hope they improve their customer service because it has been the biggest obstacle to doing business with them. We ended up ordering an item from a different vendor because we couldn't get anywhere with the online support staff.

We had looked around online so had a decent idea of what we were looking for and what we didn't want (teak, for example). Annie and Maia were both very helpful -- letting us casually browse the selection outdoors and indoors, answering questions whenever we asked, and even looking up colors, styles, and delivery times for different configurations. Of course, what we thought we wanted wasn't what we bought -- glad we went to an in-person showroom. In under an hour, we settled on a table/chairs with expected delivery in 1 week (much less than we had thought). The price was fair -- more than Costco but less than other high end places. The furniture arrived when promised and setup happened quickly. They take all of the packaging away with them. Unfortunately, we noticed two small imperfections -- nothing structural but we expected pristine furniture for the price. Annie took care of it for us with no hesitation and four weeks later we had replacements. We've had the furniture for a few months now and are happy with our decision. Terra Mountain View is a recommended place for outdoor furniture.
