Awesome job! I had been told by another company that my cooktop needed parts to make the burners fire. WaIted over 5 months and parts not available! I gave up with them and was given Blaine's name to see what he could do. In 10 min he fixed it! Parts were clogged so gas couldn't get thru! No parts required! He was very respectful and constantly updated me on his arrival. Called on Friday and appt on Monday. Will use him on all appliance issues. read more

Blaine is the most honest and ethical guy I have worked with in many years. My washer broke in the evening so I left a message with the answering service, he called the next morning and came when he said he would within a two hour window that day. He also called before he got here to give me a heads up. Turned out my washer was fixable and it took the cheaper of the two things that could have been wrong. He let me know as he went what was happening. I could not ask for a better experience. Blaine is also the owner. The other employee was polite and just as hard working. read more

He has twice repaired our washing machine and twice went above and beyond of what you would expect from a repairman. He even came out over the Christmas holidays to repair our machine when no one should expect anyone to be available. We had a service technician come out to diagnose our refrigerator in which both the fridge and the freezer stopped cooling. The technician named Blaine told us it wasn't the compressor there was an issue with the sealing system and he told us to contact LG for service parts as well as informed us that the labor charge would range from $450- $500! We're so glad we contacted LG because we realized A1 totally misdiagnosed our issue and an LG technician was able to come out and repair our fridge. Turns out it was the compressor, and our parts as well as labor were covered under warranty by LG. Generally I like supporting small businesses, however I wouldn't recommend A-1 appliances. Take your business elsewhere and get a legitimate estimate. read more

Don't bother. Does NOT return calls. Does NOT show up for service appointment. Does NOT call to inform you that they will not show up. I don't want to sound like an angry person, but I was scheduled for a service appointment for Friday at 9am-11am. I arranged for someone to be available at the house and nobody showed up. I called numerous times and left numerous voicemails, but received no response. It's 4:04 right now and still no response. I wish they would have at the very least given me an update as to what was going on. I'm all for having a relaxing Friday, but as a business, if you schedule an appointment, you should probably try to honor it. read more

We already knew what was wrong with our dryer. All I needed was the part to replace. I was making random calls to see who sold dryer parts. He doesn't- he's a repair man. And yet he still said to just bring him the part and he'd replace it out of his stock. Then, as well as replacing it, he also instructed us on a separate part to test before reinstalling the needed part (thermal fuse) to ensure our new part didn't short out while installing. Had we just bought the part from a parts store as I had intended, we might have been very confused as to why the part wasn't lasting. But with his extra guidance and knowledge we had a successful instal and are up and running again. I want to stress that this was above and beyond his job. He is a repair man, not a parts store. But the fact that on his slow day he was willing to be more- to do more- shows a generous heart and an honest hard-working man. I understand he is training a young man to take over or cover for him. I hope the new gentleman learns these qualities and becomes the next hero to the appliance-confused community! read more

I have been using these guys for years. They do excellent work for cheap prices. They say the repairs are guaranteed but I've never had to use that. We kept our washer and dryer set for almost 30 years, with the occasional thing going wrong. They kept them running like new for cheap. Use these guys they're great. read more

This business is great. We have used them for probably 20 years and totally happy with all aspects. If the other reviewer had a problem with them showing up it possibly could have been during the time that the owners wife passed away. They always show up for me. read more
