My husband works in Lakeland and has been telling me about this place for years. He couldn't wait to show me because he knew I would fall in love. There's nothing fancy, nothing special but what they do they do it right. I picked up my ingredients to make homemade salsa and some fun goodies and snacks to enjoy. The luncheon counter provides simple options but you'd be missing out if you did not grab some to go. Tacos are fresh, homemade and only $1.60 each. The pork is phenomenal. On Saturdays and Sundays they offer chicken and pork tamales. We grabbed a dozen. There are fresh flour and corn tortillas all wrapped nice and snug in a warm package for you to enjoy.
