For online delivery in other states: they're fine, they delivered the product as requested, they were just VERY slow (just over 3 weeks from order date to shipping). They also did not respond to emails, which I sent after 10 days, asking about what's up with the shipment. Anyway, the specialty bottle I ordered eventually arrived. They're certainly not a scam, they just have lousy customer service / contact. And now the person I ordered the bottle for has two bottles of what I ordered, because CPD was so slow that I ordered from somewhere else and tried to cancel here - but apparently you can only cancel if they don't ship within 30 days. Oh well. Again, they're absolutely not a scam as some people in Yelp suggest, but just... don't order from them if you want something quickly to be delivered to a different state. read more

He asked me to call me back in 5-10 minutes for status and hasn't answered his phone since. I've tried at least 15 times. Email also bounced back. I'm now dealing with paypal to get my money back. We will have to deal with a $69 charge to a credit card, as we never received our order. The messaging system on their website doesn't work. I then ordered 5 bottles on Friday after close of business. They called back on Monday as they were out of one of the wines, offering a substitute or refund. Wow - who knew you could find a knowledgeable wine expert in a little liquor store in Lakeland! Store Manager Bhavesh knows his wine and craft beers (I'm sure he knows liquor too, but I didn't ask). He even gave me tastes of the wine and offered to order ones that he didn't have. He said they are expanding their wine offerings, so even though the place is small I'm sure there will be more soon. And if he doesn't have it, he'll get it for you. I've recommended a couple friends and he gave them the same wonderful service he gave me. Definitely my new place for good bottles in Lakeland. Don't go to the grocery store, they won't have much worth drinking, at least around here. Go to CPD! read more

This is a FANTASTIC wine & liquor store! I'm from Nashville and decided to stop by while visiting Lakeland. Hopefully you understand the saying "don't judge a book by it's cover" because this place doesn't look like much from the outside and it's not very big but boy they have an incredible selection!
