I called the Nissan dealership( who makes infinity) and they said they couldn't replace it , only Infinity. I called the Infinity dealer up and they Quoted $400 yeek! :( Called A-1 up and they quoted $195 which includes the key Fob, mechanics key cut, and programmed. Please don't go to the Dealer when replacing keys, they are always 2x the price. Although they didn't have my key in stock , they overnighted it and I had it the next day! Amazing and affordable service!!! Very friendly and quick staff, very good comparable prices. We were able to get a brand new car key and attached FOB for 1/3 of the price the dealership offered us. The dealership also required a separate appointment to "program" the fee for an additional cost, while A-1 was able to do it immediately at no additional cost. These guys are miracle workers!! I recently bought a 1995 Toyota vehicle for use as a "do everything" vehicle. I was having trouble getting the key to work and believed it had something to do with the inner workings of the ignition. By chance I attempted to get a duplicate key made a few days ago and I noticed that my key was very worn and a duplicate could not be made. I attempted to get a new key cut at the local Toyota dealership, but the information concerning my car was input incorrectly into their system. Their solutions were (a) tear the passenger door apart to get the correct key code for which they would charge me a minimum of $140 or (b) go to A-1 Mobile Lock and Key. I honestly didn't think A-1 could do anything as the Toyota rep said "they would make a key based on "sight" of the current key". Since my key was worn to non-recognition I truly expected I would have to have my mechanic tear the passenger-side door apart. But he too sent me to A-1. I walked up to the counter, handed Eric Jimenez my key, and told him I needed a miracle. After a 30 minute wait in A-1's very comfortable waiting are Eric delivered my miracle. The first time he put the key in the ignition it started right up and my car starts every time now. Eric's co-worker described my former key as a "toothpick". His description could not have been more accurate. The new key has very deep ridges and grooves which makes me astonished the old key started my vehicle at all. Eric even went the extra mile and lubricated all of my door locks. I also had him make the duplicate key. I could not be more grateful to A-1 and their very capable employees. The gentleman at the counter spent 10 minutes cutting and shaping the key until he felt confident in is work. Sure enough I brought it home and it worked on the first try! It's been a year but I need to get a review of this business out there. I had them come out to our house in LaConner (on a weekday during regular business hours) to look at the lock on my front door. It seemed fairly weak and I was willing to do just about anything including replacing the entire front door and side valences if necessary to secure it. (Acknowledging that they don't do door installs but was hoping they could advise on securing the current door better.) They came out, looked at the lock, literally said they could no nothing AND CHARGED ME $60 for the visit. The guy was in and out in 15 minutes. I called the store and asked for the manager. He wasn't there so I left a message asking if this is really justified and is really how they do business. I did not receive a return call. I would not use these guys again. read more

I was in town visiting some friends when I realized that I had misplaced the keys to my car. I was panicking because I needed to hit the road back home early the next morning. I contacted A-1 Mobile and another company to get a quote. I chose A-1 Mobile not only because they were more reasonably priced, but also because of their impeccable customer service. Daryl arrived as soon as possible and helped me get into my car. When I didn't find the keys in my car, A-1 Mobile offered to make me a set of keys for a great price and in a timely manner. Needless to say, I am very grateful for all that they did for me. After countless hours of researching how to get a key for a chipped ignition when ALL keys are lost, I was told to go to dealership. After $1400 estimate, I found A-1 who offered to solve my problem if I got the car to them. $250 dollars and 15 minutes later I was driving down the road. So the other day I was at the local park and upon leaving and loading up my little dog my keys fell out of my pocket onto the passenger seat. While I turned around to grab my 2 year old to put her in my dog must have stepped on the keys and locked me out of my vehicle. I called my insurance for roadside assistance. They wanted a credit card number but my wallet was in my locked car. I called 3 other places and no one could help me in my area. Finally called back my insurance and spoke to a different person. The quickest help they could find me was a 2 hour wait. Didn't work with a 2 year old and it getting dark and cold. We took our new vehicle in to have a second key programmed and got nowhere with it. The first time we brought it in they requested the registration and turned us away since we hadn't received it in the mail yet. Second time the guy had us wait for close to an hour while he attempted to program the key with no luck. He gave us the excuse that some code wasn't working and he needed some other tool that wasn't available that day so we left for a second time. My husband got fed up and called the dealer where we bought the car (they'd sent us to A1) and they had us bring the car to them where they called another mobile key guy. He had the key programmed in under 5 minutes with zero problems! I'm giving A1 two stars since they weren't flat out rude or anything, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. My husband regrets going back the second time since there was an irate customer in the store on his first trip complaining of an improperly cut key and four trips to get it fixed. I love this company! After going on the last trail ride of the season, I was wet and cold and decided to change coats. Loaded horses into the trailer to get them ready to go, and shut the dressing room door not realizing the door was not unlocked! Key was in my other coat pocket and my purse now locked in the dressing room! Called A-1 Mobile Lock & Key. They had just closed, but the key guy would meet us at the shop when we got into town. I was really upset because I was worried it would cost a lot of money being after hours and all. I thought it was going to take a while, so got some snacks for the horses, and hubby said, ready? Huh? Really? Done already? Then I asked about the price and he handed me the receipt. Unlocking the trailer and making a new key after closing came to $2. and some change!
