Recently, I managed to let the engine overheat and ultimately it just couldn't be saved as far as that goes. However, with a great deal of effort from Mark and his mechanic, Roberto, after replacing the engine and several other major parts, it's running great finally. Countless issues were involved, especially since it's so difficult to get parts on a 2003 Jeep. However, I've now had it completely painted. Looks like a new car and runs just as good ! Mark always gets right back with me ( and, admittedly, I can be just as high maintenance as my antique almost car!) he lets me know what's going on, good or bad. And Roberto is diligent and patient and gifted. Hoping for another 10 years possibly with my little red Jeep , we call Lil' Ruby...under their geriatric care unit. Lol ... They wouldn't be able to fully diagnose that day and I didn't want to leave it. Ultimately, I came back and worked with Issa to set up a time to drop my car off and get the work done. Vastly different experience from Mike Maroone which I absolutely hate to patronize. I'm talking service and price! At any rate, the problem I had fixed glitched one day and I called Issa to let him know. I set up a time to bring it back but it wasn't necessary because it's been months and it never glitched again. When I called to let him know I wasn't going to keep the appointment, he told me he'd done some research and bring it by anyway, when I had time. Previously, my car had only been serviced by Chevrolet dealers but with the aforementioned trash one, I am happy I found Pete's and will continue to patronize them.

I listened to him speak to person after person with that disingenuous voice that wasn't overtly pushy but subtle. Definitely not going to work on me. And the quote he gave me was almost as much as the dealership. Make that make sense. At the end, I think I saw a glimpse of the real him. He was handing me my keys and told me not to drive too far in that condition though I passed on them doing work (mind you, they weren't sure of the problem so I was going to be out many hundreds of dollar for the labor to find out what was causing the issue). At the end of the day, be prepared for the annoying upsell pitch if you patronize here.

I spent over 700 for them to plug a wire that fell out in per them (with a free diagnosis) & for a used battery when I had put a brand new one in the month before. I can't believe this. I asked many times to call me when you know the issue and I also asked NOT to put a battery in I just bought one last month & I had the battery checked several times running at 100%. They took out my new battery and replaced it with a used one. I think they knew what they were doing. This is just getting worse with them. They kept asking me to put a good rating. Texting me & asking me. Just crazy! I guess they got over on me & by then they thought I was stupid bc I was stupid going to them.
