I went to this shop the other day to have my A/c Unit diagnosed and Reed literally plugged this machine to my A/C unit for 5 minutes and charged me $180 diagnosis fee. He said that my A/c unit was contaminated with the wrong freon. I did nothing to the car and just bought it 6 months ago, not sure if it really was contaminated. He never even checked to see if the A/C UNIT was fully charged with freon. He said the compressor and evaporator all had to be changed and the total would be $5500. He said that my "$180 diagnosis fee was paying for this expensive A/C machine that he just bought". I took my car to an Auto A/c repair shop the next day who did not charge me a dime to diagnose the problem and it literally just needed 17 OZ. of 1234yf freon and the shop charged my system with the freon in 30 minutes and the car ran totally fine. STAY AWAY FROM A1 QUALITY CAR CARE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Their diagnosis was wrong and took my $190 for nothing! read more

I have taken my car here for years. Even all the cars that we have had. They just keep amazing us and we just keep coming back Went from a traverse. And then my wife got a jeep. And their prices have always been reasonable and quick. Adam is very knowledgeable and very friendly. There was one visit I left my hydro flash there. I am not one to typically leave reviews however my experience at A1 Quality Car Care has restored my faith in the fact that there are still good, honest people out there willing to provide service with a smile. My car had a multitude of problems from the brakes to the battery and more. I googled auto repair near me and chose A1 because of its good reviews. I am really glad that I did because I definitely received 5 star customer service from Adam the owner. He was very welcoming and knowledgeable. it's hard to find a good, honest mechanic anymore and I highly recommend this one! Trustworthy, fast and affordable. I went with A-1 because they had the best price I could find for an oil change, and ended up coming back to get my windshield washers working again. When I called back before my second appointment a week later Adam remembered my name! Both times the customer service was great and the work went quickly. The second job I had diagnosed incorrectly, but they allowed me to keep my car there while they got the correct part and it was done a few hours later in the same day. Also, both times there was a young woman working in the bay! Seems worth noting as a young woman myself, and I don't think I've ever seen a woman working at an auto shop. A hidden gem. Just had a full synthetic oil change with multi-point inspection in 45mins with great, friendly customer service! I had a lot of questions as a relatively new Prius owner, and Adam, the business owner at the front desk, seemed happy to answer them all, and made me feel like a valuable customer from the moment I walked in (unlike many auto shops who frankly suck at customer service). This place is almost 20mins from my home, yet I feel like it's worth the drive, and I fully intend to come back next time! This place is a little tricky to find because it's behind a plaza and completely hidden from the street, so it's good that Adam is so active on digital marketing and replying to people on Yelp. read more

My mini van was making a horrible smell and the brakes were feeling "gritty" when I pressed on them. It just wasn't stopping like it should. The mechanics there knew what to do and gave me a choice on getting rid of the smell. Told me the odds of the cheaper way of fixing it and it lasting. It's an older vehicle so decided together to try that before spending too much on the van. I received perfectly installed breaks and the smell is gone. A-1 Quality Car Care rocks! Great customer service and more importantly HONEST. Finding a good, loyal mechanic can be as difficult or even more than a wife or husband. If you find one, you better hold onto em! Lose them before you lose the mechanic. I needed to get front axle work done on a Honda Civic and several other shops were saying both axles needed repair. Estimates were running close to $500. Tom (owner I believe) put it up, fixed it and called back telling me only one axle needed repair, $268. Yeah, I'll be going back to him for any other repairs. read more

Good Morning Yelpers! Mind you its only 9am today and I have already been in and out of A-1 Quality Car Care!! I called to see if they could check out my suspension. The car was acting funny and the suspension was very low to the road. They got me right in! Tom and Adam put the car on the lift and instantly found a height adjustment linkage was disconnected. Excellent service, this is a company that definitely cares about the vehicles that they work on, and the customers they work with. I brought my Corvette to them with what I thought was a larger (and more expensive) issue. But Adam (the owner), and his team were able to identify and fix the issue for a fraction of what I thought I'd be paying, and in a very very timely manner. Right off the bat Tom was completely honest with me about pricing and what needed to be worked on. He went above and beyond to make sure my car was in great condition when I left. My car had all sorts of things wrong with it, so much that I thought it would cost me around 3,000 dollars as that was what my last mechanic had quoted me. Tom charged me less than half of that and did such an amazing job on everything. I recommend this place to anyone. They really are the best in palm beach county!
