Talk about going above and beyond! Joe is not only incredibly kind and helpful, he may also be one of the most interesting people I've ever met. I maxxed out my torque wrench trying to hit the amount they torqued it down. Not only is that potentially damaging to my rotors I got injured removing it. I had to jump with all my weight on a 25 inch breaker bar and still wasn't budging. I eventually got them. But I'm not sure if I damaged my impact wrench. If you were stranded on the road 99% of people would never be able to remove a tire without professional help after bringing your car here. Never again. Also they quoted us nearly $2k for a job that we ended up getting done for $900. Edit to add: Just to address the owner's response- I never said a service date, so not sure how he's trying to "verify" anything. It happened. They were the last shop to service the car and it was only that tire they fixed, and that tire that was nearly impossible to remove. Whoever put it back on was probably being lazy that day and used an air impact gun. Don't try to fool the yelp community because now you just look worse in my eyes (and I'm sure others are smart enough to understand you're making excuses to try to discredit me). An apology, and a genuine offer to reimburse me for the service rendered would get you a lot further.

Then when I picked it up, I sounded like a junk yard beater vehicle!! 1 day later after they suggested I leave my car over night on their lift..... Sal (the owner) called the following morning & said my car is fixed and to come pick it up. After I paid the $1,100.00 repair cost & was handed my key, I started my car & a loud whining noise erupted. Sal's rude son, Anthony, ran over to cover it up & said: "Oh, & by the way, You need a new Power Steering Pump, & a Return Hose, 4 Wheel Bearings, & a Fly Wheel Cover"!! I clearly told him in front of my wife & in front of other customer's: "My car did not make this noise before I brought it to your repair shop"!! Anthony just rolled his eyes in disgust then Huffed & Puffed like an immature child, deflecting any blame. I said: "What took you so long to tell me this & how come your father, Sal, didn't know these problems when he took my money & handed me the receipt?" Anthony just rolled his eyes and went back in the shop. I went to another mechanic the next day. They said that the power steering pump was forcibly moved and the power steering hoses were crimped. This mechanic I brought my car to did an oil change on my car the week before. He said to me, "your car wasn't like this when you came to me for the oil change!!" I told him that I went to S & T in West Babylon. He knew of Anthony right away & said Anthony is a jerk-off & is known for doing shady business & to stay clear & away from his S & T Auto Care Service Center in West Babylon, NY!! I will never go back to that repair shop & advise others to do the same!!
