I own multiple rental properties and he's been my go-to for years. Whether it's appliance repair or a full house clean-out, he's consistently gone above and beyond. No drama, no delays--just results. Fast turnaround--usually fixed within a day or two, even if parts are needed Fair pricing--always beats other quotes I've gotten Mobile service--he comes to you, no hassle Bonus services--he does consignment and estate clean-outs too! I've made money off items I was ready to toss. Total time and money saver. He's cleaned out several properties for me, handled repairs like a pro, and made the whole process smooth every time. Don't. Just don't. I've used them once before for a dryer, and it went fine, but this time for a…read moredishwasher he came and said a part had to be ordered. I paid in advance (silly me!!). I heard nothing from him, so around the time the part was supposed to be in, I started trying to call him. Occasionally I would get him on the phone and he always said "I have to check, and I'll call you back," but never did. Most of the time he simply did not answer his phone or texts, and the voicemail has not been set up. Finally I caught him and he claimed he had the part, came by at the time we agreed, stayed maybe 3 minutes and said he had gotten confused and brought a part for a different customer, and that he would be right back. That was several days ago, and I have again not been able to get in touch with him since. I'm out the cost of the part and the original service call since I have to call someone else to start over at the beginning. Really, read the negative reviews and save yourself some headaches by calling someone else!

After that time, he explained to me that I would be looking at the part running around $200-250, and the labor to basically defrost the evaporator coil in my freezer and put in the new heater/evaporator, the labor I would be looking at was right at $600. Are you kidding me? You are telling me it is going to cost around $850 to fix a 12 year old refrigerator? I paid the $85 service call and sent him on his way. I can buy a brand new fridge for $400. Granted, he did not encourage me to have him "repair" the freezer issue, in fact told me the opposite, replace it. My feeling based on him not even taking a tool out of his bag was that he really did not want to mess with it. But for real? You are charging me $85 to tell me to replace it? After work, I went home and was determined to find out for myself. I hot the blow drier out, and yes it took some time (2 hours), but I defrosted the evaporator myself, what do you know, my freezer is cold again, and freezing water over night. Yes it may be that I have to do this occasionally, but I can do that a whole lot easier than coming up with $850. I will not be using Action Appliance again. One thing good about service call, he did tell me how to make sure my agitator on my washing machine was working correctly, and how to fix it if it is not. So maybe I got $25 of the $85 I wasted. Maybe replace ???
