Standard smog check. Tech opinion, He said that I will remove cats once smogged. That sir is an accusation of an illegal activity which I told him so. I am 58 and disabled. I had to make some repairs to my exhaust, including replacing leaking exhaust connection and flange seal. I was treated as if I'm guilty of a crime when all I wanted was to be all good to pass my smog check. I left the facility disheartened and I will probably never go again because a young man said that I would do something illegal with my vehicle once I got smogged. I have used this shop a few times since my local shops cannot smog my 1999 Chevy. Never once did I have an issue but seems like younger generation DGAD. Price wise always a good fast choice. **PLEASE READ BEFORE COMING HERE** Horrible service. Olasumbo Oladipupo (his name), stalled my manual transmission car 5 times. He also managed to reverse my car into a parked car!!! I saw him hit the other car and when he got out the car he just laughed about it?! He still had the audacity to charge me for a failed test?!?! Yes my car failed and that's fine but dude literally damaged my transmission and damaged my rear bumper and just laughed and still charged me. Also when I first got there 5 mins later, another couple drives up and he assisted them and didn't get to my car till after he was done with them he took over an hour to check my car. I should've just left and took that as a red flag before he did all that damage. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE AT ALL. read more

I passed and with my Yelp discount I saved money too. The service was friendly and in spite of having 2 people ahead of me, I was still in and out in about 40 minutes. The only challenges are that the parking lot is pretty tight and the waiting room is a little sketchy. I will never come back to this place! The wait was about 30 minutes, which is understandable for a Saturday morning. I went with my mom and we were told to sit in the waiting room. The guy didn't ask any questions or give us an estimated time, he kind of just pushed us to the side. When it was finally our turn and I told him what kind of car I drove, he said his machine for older models was broken. He said he would try anyway and told me it would be $60. I filled out the paperwork and when I tried to use the yelp $15 off coupon, he told me it was for model 2000 & newer cars only. Nowhere did it say this on the coupon and when we complained about it, he said his machine was down and walked away. REALLY? I really waited until the last minute to get my smog check and renew my registration. I originally planned to go to another smog test center on La Brea across from the DMV (so I could go there afterward) but when they told me it would be an hour wait to get the smog test, I checked google maps on my phone to see if there were any other smog test places nearby with no wait.
