Was good experience with them. Our vehicle needed smog check for first time and I called the place. And gave me the information I needed. Was $53 for the test and report and took only 15 minutes. Young man name was Bryan I think he was very helpful and knowledgeable. When we arrived he even asked me you guys came before that vehicle or after so very clear that he respect the serial as well. I randomly found this place on yeIp. I came here to get my Honda accord checked last Saturday. When we go there at 9 am, there were already 2 customers ahead of me. The wait wasn't too bad, approximately 30mins. Once it was our turn, the smog check was about 20 mins or less and went pretty smoothly. The hours posted everywhere says 5:30 close time. Im here at 4:55pm and was told that they actually stop taking customers at 5pm. Its not 5pm yet, but they have 2 cars to do so they dont have time today. The shop should be clear about their hours. In the automotive space misleading customers is unprofessional. I wont be back. If you use this place, I'd either call ahead or show up well before they close. read more

Came here in the mid afternoon after going to the smog center that I usually go to , which I found out ended up closing. The smog center had a ton of positive reviews so I decided to give it a try. after arriving, there was one car pulling out, so it was perfect as I pulled in. A young man happened to be working on a Monday, and I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. He said the car will be done in around 12 minutes. I got on a work call and before I knew it, my car was ready . He then informed me that I can either complete the registration online which the tags would take about 2 to 3 weeks or I could go straight to AAA or directly to the DMV and I could get my tags right then and there. I hadn't even considered going to AAA, but I've had a membership long time so I think this young man for suggesting AAA because I was able to get my tags the same day . Complete convenience, professionalism and suggestions here . Very happy with the service and value of this smog check center! read more

I had to get a smog check certification for the first time on my car and A1 Smog Test Center was the easiest to get the job done. No appointment is necessary but you have to wait your turn in a limited parking area if there are people already in the queue. Once it was my turn, it was only about 15 minutes to do the smog check, and $53 later for the test and report, I was on my way. They send the smog certification electronically to the DMV. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended. read more

So after getting my car smogged, the smog tech handed me my paperwork. The next day I'm going to pay DMV for registration. A1 Smog lost my registration, then the owner said I must of lost it. Kinda funny that he had other clients registration paperwork. He said people forget all the time. So I was handed an envelope, I guess it is my fault for not checking I had ALL MY PAPERWORK. Now I have to go to DMV for a copy. I'm sure if I told a cop about the registration id still get a ticket for no registration ‍ read more

NO First come first served Fast Inexpensive and professional No appointments are needed, it is walk in service only! They are open 7 days a week 8am until 5:30pm.

No!! They do Not! Plus they want to capture your signature for what purpose? They attitude was bad. I didn't trust the safety of my signature with them. I just walked out.

I decided I needed to modify my appointment, there didn't seem to be an option to do it on the website, so I texted the number back and asked to change my appointment, this was done quickly without issues. I arrived to my appointment 10 mins early. Dru was very helpful, friendly and professional. He entered my car's info into the system, and once my car passed the smog check, everything was updated and entered into the system already so that when I pay my registration, the DMV (or in my case, AAA) will see that my car passed the smog test. In case the system isn't updated, I was provided with a hard copy certificate to prove that it passed. My entire appointment took 10mins altogether, can't beat that! They got the job done fast (less than 10 minutes) and with courteous service. Also, they are willing to price match with other nearby stations. So if you do some research, then you can save $10-15. Otherwise, they fall right I'm the middle of average prices for a smog check in Los Angeles.

Luckily, I take care of my car with regular oil changes and maintenance, so my car passed with flying colors. And the DMV paperwork was handled with ease. This is the most hassle-free place to get a smog check. Tips: It's inside a tire store. Just pull in the driveway as if you were going to the tire store and the smog kiosk is on the left under the ecoSmog sign. $2 off if you pay cash.

They even have a coffee and water station in the waiting area. The shop is located near other stores and restaurants, which makes it super convenient. Drop your car off, walk around the community, or support the other local businesses in the area, then come back and pick up your vehicle. One thing I also noticed is that first-time customers get 10% off. So not only are you already getting a great deal, but as a first-time customer, you get an even better one. Overall, it was a great experience!
