I have been to Brea Test Only Center a few times in the past 5 years and all experiences have been nothing short of stellar. I have a pre-2000 car that requires the old-fashioned dynomometer test. Many shops have stopped testing these older cars altogether, and most of the shops that still do this are charging exorbitant prices. Not so here. Gerardo is an awesome guy who always shows great concern and attention to my cars. I'm always in & out in less than 30 minutes, even with Gerardo going through the 27 year smog test history of my very temperamental car. He's also got the best prices in town. I consider this to be the best smog station in the entire LA area, and I've been to many in my 50 years of driving in CA. read more

Dude was swell on conducting business. Flat rate for smog was around $60, and you can retest for free if you don't pass the first time. In and out in about 15 mins or less as long as you don't have anyone ahead of you. I'd recommend for any smogging needs. read more

Best smog center I've been to by far! I needed to get my car smogged that same day (I was going to register my car) but I was working long hours. I was not going to be able to make it before the end of the business day, so I decided to call the smog center. The owner was very nice and he kept the smog center open an hour later just so I could make it. Really cool guy! Definitely recommend!! read more
