I noticed the tech was efficient and pleasantly working which is always a plus. I definitely recommend this place for a smog test. It's not a STAR station which is fine as long as it's not required from DMV. I was on the road before 10am which was great because I needed to get my registration tags from DMV since they expired the next day. I was done within a couple of hours. Phew!‍

I especially like how there are signs & arrows directing you where to drive, stop your car & wait, then the owner comes out and directs you to drive forward, takes the DMV paperwork, and you go wait in the office. A lot of places are kind of confusing, and you don't know if anyone's going to come out to greet you or if you need to go in. But not here - it's all clearly marked. The smog test itself is approx 10 minutes, I waited in my car before that for maybe 15 minutes, so the whole thing took about half an hour. This was 11am on a Tuesday. And there were two people ahead of me. The owner is very friendly, and keeps things moving.
