Cars alternator died. Triple AAA battery service in the neighborhood discharged my battery completely, phone was dying, was put in a bad spot in a strange neighborhood. The guy who drained my battery strongly recommended me to a car mechanic he knew. Honestly felt kind of trapt and tricked. Reminiscent of tourist traps in third world countries. Shouldn't someone who jump starts batteries for a living know how to not drain out all of the power? Not wanting to be a lamb possibly being lead to a slaughterhouse, found this place a block away. Like an island, or an oasis stranded in a desert, was able to tow the car here and get it fixed. Good diagnosis and free battery charging. Pricing is competitive. Instead of being taken advantage of in a dire situation, the car was taken care of and now works better than it has this entire year. Though through first impressions it might not seem like the top of the line car repair place of the century, at the end of the day, these people helped me, and that's all I can really say. read more

Okay so I was just driving my normal route to run errands and knew I'd come across a oil change spot . Asian man seems very nice to me, answered all my questions quick but answered then with a nice pleasant tone. He was working on cars when I pulled up, told me five minutes which was fine I wasn't in a rush. I guess time will tell with the running of my car and etc if he put the wrong oil or something . He told me "price is cheap $33.00. Not bad, he didchange the oil filter. Not sure if that's supposed to get changed every three months but yeah. I like this place it's also a gas station right here I'm sure that could be a benefit for people's cars who broke down and they're angry and/or frustrated and thirsty or something. The guy was rude as hell. I called over the phone and I cordially informed him of my situation: I mainly ride my motorcycle around and don't use my car as often, so I had to jump it that same morning. I asked if this would prevent my vehicle from being able to be properly diagnosed and he said something along the lines of "if you don't pass smog, you're gonna come back and blame my ass." I had no idea what the hell he was talking about. All I knew is that my car was dead, I had jumped it that morning, and if these actualities were gonna be an issue. I went to the shop and he was very dismissive. Bad customer service. Hey, many others reviews are positive about this business, and that's fine; this is just the experience I had, which is unfortunate. I went to CA Smog Test Only on Western and the owner there was much nicer and very eager to assist me. He told me to drive around 100 miles at night when there's much less traffic, and to come back on Saturday morning around 0800 when they open. Much nicer, much better customer service. First off I did my brakes here and oil change. My mechanic said they didn't do a good job changing my brakes here. They forgot to put in the brake grease he showed me. Plus my mechanic also retightened the bolts on my chasis. For others just be aware of the work. For major work I'll stick to the dealership or my mechanic. For oil change or if your in trouble this is okay place. read more

Looks like I found my new smog place! I've driven past this shop so many times going down King Blvd but never used their service. With my registration renewal time quickly approaching, I decided to stop procrastinating and just get my smog out the way. I took my car in because I had a coolant leak that was coming from the hose connected to the bottom side of the water pump. after 5 minutes of looking at my car the mechanic said i needed a new water pump. My water pump didnt seem bad to me but they are professionals...so I thought. After the water pump was replaced I had the same leak the next day. I took my car back and he replaced my coolant revsivour cap. After that I pointed out it was still leaking and he through a fit and said "come on man". He also said he didn't know what it could be after charging me 550 for a new water pump and thermostat. I would not recommend taking your car here since he misdiagnosed and refused to Correct his mistake Even though I have a warranty . read more

Went to a body shop near where my car broke down in Azusa and had to get my car to the nearest auto body shop due to panic and not knowing if my car could make it back to LA. I was quoted $1000 for repairs on my car at the dishonest auto body shop in Azusa. I had to give it one, if I could give it less I would have, I'm a 71 year old woman, took my car in for a broken power steering line, they said I need bushings which i didn't need, they removed one of the belts and started an high pitch noise, for that I had to return 4 times in one day. I had to take my car to the dealer to get all of this taken care of, however they gave me a warranty I couldn't afford to allow them to keep working on my car... sorry people can't be trusted to do the job they are being paid to do without cheating women... read more
