A+++++++++ I would have easily paid twice as much for this…read moreservice. Even my husband, who absolutely hates doing traditional tours LOVED the experience we had. He kept saying "This is awesome!" as we drove thru lower Yellowstone (referring to the gaperguide). So, I downloaded the TravelStorys app from the Android Play Store... Selected the tour I wanted, had it downloaded after I paid, and then went on my tour. Instead of having to be stuck on a 12 hour tour in a van with a bunch of strangers stopping and going when the tour guide decides WE WENT AT OUR OWN PACE. Anything and everything you could want to know is given to you as you drive thru the park. Bathroom locations, places to eat, which parking lot is better, where the attractions are, etc. We got to pick and choose where to stop and how long to stay. There's even background information about the different stops! Just like a real tour! THIS IS A GODSEND. Especially in these Covid-19 times. Definitely going to be using this service again!!! Super important to do all your downloading on wifi before heading to a National Park (as most parks have poor cell and 4g). And start the tour right before heading into the park. If you accidentally exit the app, go to the TravelStorys app (give it time to load, you don't need internet service as long as it's been previously downloaded) and simply select your tour again. It took my phone a while to load after I accidentally exited out. I had a mini heart attack cuz I thought I needed internet to restart, but it ends up that I just needed more patience to let the app load.

We had the pleasure of having founder Matt Fagan as our tour guide for 4 days in September 2014. Matt has such extensive knowledge of the best sites and how to view wildlife, and he had everything planned so seamlessly that we were able to see an incredible amount of amazing things. Each day was completely different, and Matt is a true expert of Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Teton areas. He has a wealth of knowledge, and has a great way of sharing it in a way that makes it engaging. Matt really made this a spectacular trip. He has a way of making everyone feel comfortable. Even his driving is great (having recently been on other tours outside of the US with a bad driver, this was important to me). We saw all kinds of wildlife like wolves, bison, moose, antelope, deer, elk, ravens, eagles, and even a little bunny rabbit! The landscape is breathtaking at every turn, but Matt selected out sites that really showed off the best parts of Grand Teton & Yellowstone, including gorgeous waterfalls, canyons, and of course, many of the immense options for geysers. Even if you have just one day to tour, having a tour with Buffalo Roam is completely worth your time and money. The parks are so vast, there is hardly any cell phone service, so you save vast amounts of time, effort, and stress of having to navigate sites (or find a bathroom) by hiring Buffalo Roam Tours - they know this place like it's their treasured back yard, and they happily share their passion for park in a way that is contagious. This is coming from a through and through city girl, and even before the end of day 1 I was wearing binoculars around my neck and calling out names of different wildlife. Who knew? Thank you Buffalo Roam Tours for a wonderful adventure that we will always treasure!

Thanks so much for making my birthday week so special.

He was so knowledgeable about the geological history of Yellowstone it felt like we had a walking encyclopedia with us. He was patient with my 75 year old mom and accommodating when something proved too taxing. I loved how he also let us expereince things on our own too. We walked around Old Faithful just the 4 of us and a few other places too. The highlight had to be the wolf we all caught on his INCREDIBLE binocs! I seriously was blown away by how good they were! He also provided a delicious lunch for us and we enjoyed his company on our picnics. We booked Moses for two days and his van was as spotless the second day as it was the first. I was impressed after a 13-hour day, he still cleaned it all out of our dirty shoeprints and restocked the water so that we could start fresh the next day. Thank you for the incredible memories, Moses! We saw Yellowstone how it was meant to be seen in two days, and it definitely inspired us to come back and camp there to experience it even more.

He was also incredibly patient with our rambunctious kids, which made the experience much more enjoyable for our family. The kids enjoyed the generous snacks, which included chips, bars, and fruit snacks. Sodas and bottled water were also plentiful. Lunch was simple, but what more do you really need than some lunchmeat, cheese, condiments, and bread when you're surrounded by nature? (I will say that the amount of trash our lunch produced was surprising, considering we were spending the day in a national park. Everything was packaged in disposable containers--which understandably makes for easy serving and portability.) We enjoyed having access to our own set of binoculars and a scope to share to help spot wildlife. Overall, the tour provided excellent guiding and was well organized, comfortable, and family-friendly.

We didn't want to rent a car and drive ourselves nor did we want to be on a bus with 30 other people. I hunted around on the Internet, spoke to many different tour operators and eventually found Rowan of VIP Adventure Travel, Rowan and I talked for weeks via phone and email to determine the best time to travel, the best way to see the parks, where to stay, where to eat and how to plan the trip, even down to when to stop and buy snacks for the van we would be in for 7 days. We decided on the week of Memorial Day 2014 and set about making reservations and final details. Rowan suggested we fly into Montana, stay at the Chico Hot Springs for 2 nights while we get adjusted to the time and see the northern end of the park. What a smart and perfect way to start the trip. Rowan was at the airport waiting for us with a beautiful comfortable van, made us feel welcome and started us on our weeks adventure. During the day we laughed, played games in the van, asked Rowan a million questions as he drove us through the country to the most spectacular spots to see wildlife and scenery. He suggested where to have dinner, what time to leave to see the best of Montana and head into Wyoming for the parks. Rowan was organized, detail oriented, prepared and enjoyable. He took us places we would not have seen had we driven on our own. He knew where the best waterfalls were, the best hiking trails, the best off the beaten path trails were and the best place to see wildlife. We spent a fabulous week with Rowan, seeing Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons from the inside out making it s trip we would never forget. We still talk about the trip, remember the great times and fun we had and we owe the experience to Rowan. It was a gamble to hire a private tour guide to spend a whole week with but it was the best decision we ever made. Rowan and VIP travel made our visit to the parks a once in a lifetime experience. I would highly recommend using Rowan for a private tour of the parks. He knows the park inside out and you won't regret hiring Rowan for a trip that's worth taking.

YAHTZEE !!!! With that said I was picked up at my hotel lobby and taken back to the shop. I opted for the upgrade which was a Polaris 600 with a 153 inch track on it and was not disappointed. My guide like I said was Kyle and from the minute we left the parking lot, to minute we got back it was hard core riding. The parking lot we left was somewhat sunny, but we entered the following areas according to him: Salt River Rand, Wyoming Range, The Greys, River Canyon and Apline Wyoming. Half way through the day we pulled into a real ranch in the middle of nowhere and were treated to a delicious lunch with homemade cookies. We then headed out to some serious boondocking back country riding, unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life. Riding on a base of 20 feet of snow with fresh feet pounding down was the ultimate experience. Our guide kyle let us freestyle for a good 2 hours total off the trails and I was completely spent by the end of it. I flipped my sled once, but Kyle was right there to help me right the sled. I know some people reading this may think this place is too hard core, but they cater to families as well, the inexperienced and the intermediates. I personally think this is the place you want to go if you are in Jackson Hole and want to ride. They have a tour that brings you to much wild life in addition to yellowstone.... My daughters hadn't seen a Moose before so we chose the River Valley Area in the Teton National Park. The drive was about 20 minutes from Jackson. Beverly had all the gear you needed. We started out on our hike and the scenery was so beautiful. We had a very 'bluebird' day. On our was back we began to see signs of Moose. Shortly after we found what we wanted to see.
