Teton Mountain Bike Tours was one of the highlights of our trip to Jackson. The guides were fun, knowledgeable, and made the ride enjoyable for everyone, regardless of experience level. Riding through the beautiful scenery with the Tetons in the background made for a truly memorable experience. One thing to keep in mind is that you're sharing the area with wildlife. We kept an eye out for bison during our ride, and just a couple of days later I saw a video of someone being attacked by a bison in the area. If i could give this company 20 stars i would. Davis took us on a day trip around Jenny lake yesterday and it was absolutely perfect. This views were breath taking, bike path was super smooth and easy to ride, plenty of stops and bathroom breaks. Davis was so insightful and overflowing with historic fun facts about grand Tetons and all the cool places we stopped along the way. He was very flexible with us - we had our 7 month old son in the burley that needed extra attention from time to time. He was EXCELLENT and this tour around Jenny lake was unforgettable. Hours online said they open at 9 but sign on door said 10. We called and Dave came by to let us rent half an hour earlier than opening time! We walked over to the elk reserve museum while we waited which was pretty cool too. You really can't beat the views on the bike route that start at the store front. It looked flat enough for regular comfort bikes but could have used the e bikes, especially on the way back. Overall an excellent experience. read more

Had a good experience with our rental. Got to try several of the bikes out. Settled for a hard tail MTB which worked just fine for the biking I ultimately did, Grand Loop , around Jackson. 24 hr rental was nice value as I was able to get a couple rides in. Was surprised the terrain wasn't more hilly or mountainous. Found out later, you need to head out west past Wilson to get more elevation changes with Teton Pass. Good to know! read more

My family and I did this about a month ago and it was freaking fantastic. I'm mad that I'm just writing this now because I totally forgot one of the tour guides name and he deserves credit. Another guide we had that was also was killer was Lexi. The two of them were super knowledgeable on the tour and they made this experience amazing. They were even cool with the kids. They were were able to make this adventure worthwhile for both the kids and the more athletic adults. The best part of this experience, and maybe for My whole entire vacation, were the pronghorns briefly running aside us on our bikes. That is a special moment I will never forget in my life. Dave is a nice guy. Rents bikes out of a small shop near the Dairy Queen on Cache street. Call in advance to make sure he has a bike your size. His place is across The street from the Yellowstone Park visitor center and National Elk Refuge administrative center, which is adjacent to the wetlands and the best viewing area for the hundreds of elk grazing in the refuge. Awesome. He also rents fat tires if you want to ride in snow. We rode through the National Elk Refuge and Cache Creek. read more

My husband, my 16 yr old son and I went on the "Teton View" tour- which is a 15-20 mile ride- one of multiple routes they offer. Our guide, Pat, was awesome. He was extremely knowledgable- just great. I only gave it 4 stars for the route itself- which again- I picked. There were parts that were so rocky we had to look down at where we were going and not able to look up at the gorgeous scenery. I would book again and request Pat- but would choose a different route. We rented bikes in the off season so David met us at the shop. He was AMAZING. Friendly, knowledgeable and gave great instructions, considering I hadn't been on a bike in years. He took the time to show us the best route to take to our destination and marked other beautiful ride options on the map. Bikes were in great shape and rates were very reasonable. You can really feel David's passion for biking and the Tetons. He was very enthusiastic about sharing these passions with out-of-towners and didn't make us feel like newbie tourists. David was great. We rented Fat bikes for the day(first time) and he wisely suggested we go earlier than planned to account for the warming weather. He also gave great advice on where to ride(some available online most not) which worked out perfectly. As an added bonus he suggested another ride in Grand Teton Park after our single track in town to enjoy the view. Sadly the view was foggy so we returned the bikes early instead of taking them for the full day, but we did return later in the week to enjoy the view. Overall a great experience, very recommended for an off day when the weather doesn't cooperate for skiing(dry). read more

Dave was awesome. He was able to get a party of 7 in on 5 hours notice for a snow-bike tour. The tour was great, about 3 hours long. We saw half dozen moose and bison. Great place for renting bikes. They have good deals and the owner really knows what he is doing. He even showed up to open the store 30 mins early for us and told us to stay out as long as we wanted and to just call him when we were going to return the bikes and he would meet up with us back at the store. We had so much fun and this is the place you need to go if renting a bike! read more

He spent 20 minutes going over a trail map in detail and gave us great options on where to go for the level of difficulty we were looking for. I was very impressed with the customer service AND the price was cheaper than another shop we looked into. The location is right across from the wonderful paved trail that runs along the Elk Refuge all the way to Jenny Lake. Since our rental car didn't have a bike rack - this was great. Dave also directed the more adventurous members of our group to the trails for mountain biking. We were looking to rent Fat Tire Bikes so we could get off the beaten path and admire the wonderland that is Wyoming in the winter. There is nothing more peaceful than the vastness of fresh snow blanketing Teton National Park and spreading across the Teton Mountains. We are so grateful that we found David at Teton Mountain Bikes who not only provided us with bikes for our trip, but was overflowing with tips and trips of the backcountry and spent time helping us map our course and finding little gems along the way. David is so knowledgeable of the area and attentive to his customers above and beyond. Although we opted to do our own tour I imagine the guided tours by David are top notch. Our off-roading adventure was a perfect break from our powder days at Jackson Hole and highly recommend to others who are looking to mix it up and see Jackson from a different angle.
