He responded quickly to texts and had us complete a thoughtful questionnaire about our wine preferences and even our music tastes so he could tailor the experience to us. Communication was outstanding. He called the day before to confirm everything and even offered to contact a winery we wanted to visit when he couldn't personally take us there, just to let them know we were coming. That level of service really stood out. On the day of our tour, David arrived right on time. His vehicle was immaculate, with cold water waiting for us, and he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every winery he selected was exactly the type we were hoping to discover. Each stop was expecting us, and thanks to David's relationships, we received VIP treatment everywhere we went, with tastings customized to our palate. The highlight of the day was when David arranged for us to sit down with the owner and assistant winemaker of a local winery--even though they were closed. They have great communication skills, helped me through the insurance process and spent lots of time walking me through the trailer so I knew what to expect and how to work...everything...even things I didn't even know about. The trailer was super easy to tow and brought lots of attention everywhere my wife I went with it. It was nice and cold well in Leavenworth and the heater kept us warm and was super comfortable to travel in. I would highly recommend them if you want to go on a one off adventure.

It was constructed in 1978 and replaced the Pasco-Kennewick Bridge, an earlier span built in 1922 and demolished in 1990. I not only crossed this bridge, but got to see it up close from a boat on the Columbia River (in and out from Clover Island). The "cable stayed" design is quite a sight to see and admire. The Cable Bridge, from the time of its opening, has proved to be a popular landmark in the Tri-City area, so much so it has become an unofficial symbol of the area. The Bridge is lit up at night, and there's an annual Cable Bridge Run across the span. At the foot of the Kennewick end is the Tri-Cities Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The remaining pier of the old Pasco-Kennewick bridge now serves as a scenic lookout, from which one can view its successor bridge.

I am NOT a fan of booking a specific site, paying in full (half a year in advance), and NOT getting it, when we would absolutely be showing up at their posted check-in time. I get it. It's a holiday weekend, and you want to maximize your $$$ opportunities, but dang it....c'mon. We went from reserving the best site (#22), to being given Site #1, which is the very first one you see, directly across a beautiful parking lot. Their bathroom was a football field away from the site. It was unisex w/shower, and 8 times outta 10 you went to use it....it was occupied, and someone was taking a shower. You won't--and can't--wait in that situation. I don't begrudge the folks using the facilities in that regard, but it was untenable. Thankfully, I spotted a porta pot off their property that was available, yet still a football field away. It became the Wifey's and my personal pissatorium. To note, we never saw the camp host. She seemed nice when we got a call on our way down to see if we were, 'Still coming?' Maybe we disappointed her when we said we were on our way. I can't help feeling that if we missed her call, Site #1 would have been given away, and we would've been s*** outta luck when we showed up at check-in...
