I had an unfortunate accident with my dining room table glass top which is a 54" x 84" x 3/4" thick reversed miter edges. During my recent move, one edge was chipped. I had Barry and Tonie (owners) schedule the repair and after Barry was done with the gluing, UV light bonding and 400 grit sanding of the edge, it was just about 95% perfect. Unfortunately the last chipped part of the glass was missing but overall, their commitment, loyalty, fantastic attitude and courtesy, sealed the our relationship for good. I contacted A & B Glass to modify the glass in a bedroom door. The bedroom had no ventalation unless I opened the entire door, which is inconvient -- especially at night. A & B Glass removed the single piece of glass and installed new glass with a window in the middle of the door that opens. It looks beautiful and we are so happy to have ventilation in the room now! Attached are before and after pictures. They were wonderful to work with. They even gave me some painting advice because I had to paint the outside of the door the color of the HOA requires. I recently had some glass cut at A & B Glass, their prices were very fair in comparison to other companies I have used and the service they provided was professional. The owner took time to cut some very small pieces of glass that I needed for some antique picture frames that I brought in. Also, quite a few years ago, had an new glass shower installed, the whole process was seamless and the finished product looked great and still does. Some people might get confused with the name of this business as there is another company called ABS Glass in Santa Barbara ....this is NOT that company, so if there are any negative reviews regarding A & B glass they should be ignored. Arbor Services, Inc. has used A&B Glass for years for truck window repairs and for the occaisional "ooops" that comes with working with trees close to structures. Barry's team is prompt, technically savvy and do solid work. Our office/home windows are also just beautiful. The installation was smooth and not disruptive. I did get a second bid from a Big Box store with a nice salesman after at least a week of calling and popping in (actually trekking is more like it) to the store...but in the end A&B Glass had the product, price and hands-on customer service to that made me feel 100% on board with this investment in my home. Lastly, I did have a problem with a screen door. Barry gave me patient technical advice over the phone and directed me to a spot-on You-tube video, so I could get back on line without a service call. I have used A&B Glass for years and have always enjoyed working with them. Recently Customer service by Barry has ended our business together. They specd 3/4" Fire glass for a fire pit for a client. At the cost of $2000. I trust their input. When the glass failed and shattered Barry not only would not stand behind the product but lied to my client about suggesting this product. I paid out of pocket, lost my client and Barry chose not to provide ANY compensation for failed material. I offered him an opportunity to do anything not even a dollar. read more

Two very rude men from A & B arrived to install an 8 foot mirror in my bathroom. 2 hours later, the entire mirror fell to the floor and shattered. If anyone had been in the room, they would be dead. A & B quickly apologized for the disaster and reported that the mirror had been installed incorrectly. They also reported that both of the men responsible for the huge error had been fired. Conclusion: I'm glad that nobody was hurt, and that the company fired both of the men, but why were those two men hired in the first place?
