I ended up changing the transmission cooler because I noticed it only struggled to get in gear when hot. Anyways two years later same Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same trans and it shifts perfect and is still going. Maybe it was an honest mistake, what annoys me more is they performed a trans service without my permission, and when they did they striped 3 of the bolts on the pan, I am sure they used an impact gun. The pan leaks now. I don't live in NJ anymore, but I know the shop as it has been there for years. There were no calls there were no updates. There was no "hey we found something that price has changed. Would you like us to address it?" I had to do all the calls and they were still mum about the price Reiterating it being about $200. That is until they finished their job on my car and suddenly it shot up to $293 without taxes included. Needless to say, I was shocked at that sticker price and they were less than caring a total shift from prior to that price changed So I guess if you want a $300 alignment no updates no calls.
