After the tech left, I plugged in my old pump to troubleshoot it. Turned out my pump wasn't even bad! It worked just fine! The only problem was the electrical connection in the sump hole. Fast forward to today. Circuit breaker tripped and wouldn't reset. I removed the lid and pumped the water out to find the plug was water logged and shorted out. The problem is, since it is below ground, they were supposed to put it in a waterproof box! I called Erickson to give them the chance to correct the inferior plug installation and they told me they didn't want the chance and pretty much tough luck. So, I paid $1700 for a pump I didn't need and a bad plug installation that failed. Way to go Erickson! I guess I will fix your mistake now.

Declined to fix the line when a quote was requested claiming he didn't have a hitch post on his truck to tow an excavator to reconnect it. (Sewer coupling was about 12" below grade) and his truck with the hitch was acting up. Didn't have a recommendation for another service to solve the problem when asked for referral. Not prepared to provide anything more than the most basic service on this $75.00 call.

Plain and simple, it's a gamble that you'll get what you paid for, but at this price, I had bigger gutters/downspouts and leaf guards added for less than other companies wanted for just a leaf guard. Use somebody else…read more He Installed my septic line going up hill leading to the tank. Which caused a blockage 2 months after install. I Had to pay for it to be replaced. When he replaced the septic line he broke my underground down spouts. Blocked my number and general contractors number when trying to contact him about fixing the downspouts. Also had to pay for a lift station after he had told my contractor over and over again that I was not going to need one. I'm sure there's plenty more. Just tired of dealing with this. Just trying to save someone else a headache. And lots of money.
