Scissor Hands is the best in town. Great prices, friendly dude, and it's super easy to make an appointment with him. Takes an hour at the longest. He's Mexican, so he knows how to cut hair. The Pup comes out looking super fly and all the b*tches be on him after he looking so fresh.

If you want to give your dog a buzz cut, this is the place to go. However, my dog is a Goldendoodle and he is kept shaggy, I instructed the staff not to cut my dog's fur short and even showed a picture of a shaggy cut dog for reference. Despite my detailed instructions, when I came back my dog was basically naked! His face cut wasn't too bad, but his body was shorn like a sheep! The worst part is my dog won a professional photoshoot in a contest and now I have to take him with a shorn coat. Will not be coming back!

Traveling & needed a groomer for our Llaspo Very glad we found this place. We were told his dry skin was probably from bathing too often. He digressed red we do a very short cut so his skin could breathe & moisturize. We were pretty hesitant but decided to do it do glad we did. Three days later he is hardly itching at all. If we lived near here this would be our groomer. The cost was very reasonable & we felt worth every penny for the service & advice we received!!

They did a terrific job. I have a pug and they did great de-shedding. He smelled great and no shedding!

Really nice people and got great service! Worked with my really old dog at his level, for his comfort.

He's a large (~80 lbs) coonhound who is fine around other dogs, but has some anxiety challenges with people. He's also real loud and tends to make lots of noise when he's left alone. He's boarded there a bunch of times, once for over a week. We always include the day care option for him, which is an extra cost but worth it for him to have the outdoor time (they have a fenced area that I believe they use specifically for day care) and socialization with other dogs. This is the only place we've boarded him, but we tried some other day care options in town and have been happiest with the Dog Den. The staff there knows what they're doing with our dog, and it's helped us to feel confident leaving him there. He started off feeling very nervous during drop-off, but now is excited to go and knows exactly what to do. I've seen some negative reviews about experience with staff there. The guy in charge is direct, which sometimes comes off as gruff. I get the impression he likes dogs more than people, and frankly I'm totally fine with that because he knows his stuff around dogs. I've seen him directly correct some staff behavior that made my dog uncomfortable (see anxiety mentioned above), simply by quickly observing his body language and understanding his specific needs. Other places have failed in this where the Dog Den succeeded. That's not to say the other staff there performs poorly, I've always been extremely happy with everyone there (he LOVES Carly- she's amazing and I hereby advocate for her raise). Just that my dog, like many dogs, has some specific needs. We'll continue to recommend the dog den for both day care and boarding, even though it's sort of out of the way for us. In my experience, their staff has shown to be very competent and professional with the animals in their care.

I'm 85, so you know I am extremely happy with the competence and care all our dogs (and cats) have received. I have found warm and welcoming professionals from the receptionists, vet techs, and veterinarians throughout the many years I have been coming to this vet practice. The same has been true since Dr. Davis retired and Dr. Stoerger has continued the practice. Every time I've had to make that awful decision a pet owner often faces, I have been supported and eased through euthanizing a beloved furry member of our family, this practice has supported me with their combined veterinary skills, their empathy, and their understanding for my loss. My most recent experience in dealing with my Murphy's struggle with cancer, I was able to get through it with their support and caring. Dr. Stoerger came to my home with a vet tech and told me to let her know when I was ready. (You're not ever really "ready" to lose your friend and companion, but you know it's the last caring thing you can do for them, and I was given the gift of Dr. Stoerger's understanding and empathy for my loss. She has cared for Murphy, my beagle mix, from 2012 when I adopted him until his recent euthanasia. When the mass was discovered in his lung, she told me of the cancer division at U. Of I. Veterinarian Medical School, who were wonderful as well. When I took him there, she shared his medical records with them. In his illness and euthanasia, she was so tender with him--and with me--that I felt comforted, and I know Murphy was as well. I highly and confidently recommend Dr. Stoerger and this practice who will make your pet and you feel not only welcome, but confident in their hands. received. She shared his
