Traveling for work and was looking for good New Orleans cooking, I found it here…read more I stopped for lunch, got hear right as the doors opened and the place was full by the time we got our drinks, good sign. Service was friendly and attentive, good atmosphere. The food only topped off the good first impression. For appetizers we got gator bites ( seasoning was so good they didn't even need sauce) second was the Andui and shrimp Mac & Cheese (amazing) I could have just eaten these and been satisfied. The shrimp and crayfish porboy was large and tasted so good, man the seasoning on the fries was so good. The batter on the fish was amazing as well. We left with food to spare and already planning on what we will get next time we're in town. And only 15min from the airport. Great job Lola!!

LOLA does crawfish boils on Tuesdays, and we went specifically for that. They offer a few different…read moreoptions--$17.99 for one pound, around the mid-$20s for two pounds (don't remember exact), and $39 for three pounds. The crawfish was cooked well and had great flavor. The only thing we noticed was they were a bit juicy--we think they may not have soaked in the boil as long, which usually helps absorb more flavor. My husband really enjoyed them (this trip was mostly for him!), but they were a little spicy for me. I ended up getting a Caesar salad with fried crawfish tails instead, and it was huge--I only made it through about half. We also got margaritas during happy hour--both were really good. I had the lychee margarita, and my husband got the mango with a Cajun rim. Service was very good--our waiter was attentive and friendly. The only small downside was that we did feel a little rushed. It does say on the menu that they ask guests not to stay longer than 1.5 hours, so just something to keep in mind. They are pet-friendly, and we sat outside. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and the tables had umbrellas, which was nice. The only other thing we weren't thrilled about was the credit card surcharge--it was around 3-3.5%, which feels a bit high, especially since most people don't carry cash anymore. Overall, a great spot--especially if you're a crawfish fan!

So as a grocery store, I would say 3.5 stars and as an eatery, I would say 4.5 stars so let's call…read morethat an even 4 stars for El Molino. Grocery: I love how the place is so fresh and modern with cool displays like the orange trees when you walk in the door, but every time I walk around to shop, I don't end up finding much that I need. Usually at cultural grocery stores, I find some unique selections of things I can't find elsewhere as well as great prices on things that are more common. While I do find some great hot sauces and some other items, I feel that the standard items are higher priced than most grocery stores. For that reason, I only end up purchasing a few select items from the grocery area. Eatery: I love going in for tacos or a platter. I need to try some of the other items too. It's great that there are so many options, but it's also like a food court and you need to go to different places for different things. Until you've been a few times, you kinda have to figure it out for yourself. The food is always great though. I have a few tacos that I haven't loved, but I just don't order those ones when I go back. As of now it's set up great for getting food to go and then they have a bunch of tables if you want to dine in. It would be great if they added some more atmosphere to the dining experience like their taqueria in Johns Island.
