Tub was chipping away and I got real tired of looking at it and covering it up with a rubber mat (which did even more damage). I considered the DIY option, but after weighing the effort and materials expense against what A&E had offered, this was a no-brainer. Bathtub refinishing really is a niche service, so I'm glad I was able to get a hold of A&E. They gave me the best quote and was able to come out a couple of days after the inquiry. Esteban came in early morning, promptly at the time he said he would. This might be a minor detail for some, but a big deal for me. He was very amicable and professional. He taped everything neatly in my bathroom, helped me remove whatever was in the way and got to work. After a couple hours, he was pretty much done. The odor of the paint was pretty strong, but with all the windows open and multiple air cleaners set on high, the smell disappated after a couple hours or so. Now, the tub looks shiny and brand new! The team reached out to redo the glaze again. Stated that one of the technicians that was working on my tub was not up to the quality they wanted and sent out another technician. They redid the tub and applied two layers of additional clear coat to ensure it doesn't peel as easily again. I do wish this was done from the start or I was made aware that it was an option, perhaps it was the original technician doing a bad job. I'm glad they sought to make it right and so far the quality and durability of the reglaze looks way better than before and as it should have been from the start. I found A&E online while looking for quotes to refinish a 40+ year old bathtub (possibly older). They gave me a good price of $350 after sending photos of the conditions. They have add ons such as grip on the floor or dish soap refinishing or tile refinishing as well as many other services if wanted. A&E showed me great customer service and answered all my questions with politeness and professionalism. I never felt rushed or like just a number to them. The technician who did the work was fast and thorough. Later after the coatings had dried, I found a small blemish and called them up and they sent the technician back out to repair the blemish the very next day. 5/24/24: The issue has been fixed and although I need to wait a day to use the tub/shower it looks nice. The workers were on time, worked quickly and cleaned up. I am happy with the work as I was initially back in December 2022. My problem was with the delay in communication. They originally reglazed by bathtub December 2022. It looked beautiful. Fast forward to last week and I noticed a rather large water bubble under the glaze. We stopped using the shower immediately which was an inconvenience. I called and left a message and no one called me back. I called a few days later and was asked to text pictures along with my name and address. I immediately did and despite several attempts no one has followed up with me. All I want is for the issue to be remedied as I was told the glaze would last for many years (lifetime maybe). I'm frustrated! Terrible Customer service. UPDATE: The company has reached out to me and scheduled a time to fix the issue. read more

Service is not lifetime guarantee. I used this company to reglaze a tub for my tenants and it did end up peeling. I called them as their work is supposed to be lifetime guaranteed however they tried to blame the tenants and that's fine we paid the $300 to have it reglaze again.
