Our home has teak trim and architectural features. Many of the surfaces that get a lot of sun exposure needed work. Indy came out, evaluated what needed to be done, and Teak Master promptly sent an estimate. The senior crew supervisor was Indy, and our crew consisted of Andres, Arturo, Samuel, Abidan, and Juan. They were here for three days, sanding and refinishing the teak. As an example of their attention to detail, my wife has a lot of potted plants on the patio. It was no surprise that they moved all the potted plants out of the way. The surprise came at the end, when Indy took out his phone, looked at the photo he had taken three days earlier, and directed the crew as they put every plant back in its original position! Nobody else has ever done that. And, on the day the trash was collected, I left the barrels on the driveway, to give the crew more room in the side yard. After they left, the barrels were back where they belong. It's the little things. Although Indy and I had examined the house in advance to determine the scope of work, as they were wrapping up Indy looked at the garage doors and pointed out that after refinishing the other areas, the doors looked a bit shabby. This time, we decided to move forward with a project Luis recommended: refinishing one of the wood laminate kitchen countertops in our rental unit. Initially, I expected the result to look like a simple repaint, especially considering how worn and faded the laminate surface had become. However, once I saw the finished work, I could hardly believe my eyes. It genuinely looked as though we had replaced the countertop with granite. The finish appeared solid, durable, and waterproof. I considered the DIY option, but after weighing the effort and materials expense against what A&E had offered, this was a no-brainer. Bathtub refinishing really is a niche service, so I'm glad I was able to get a hold of A&E. They gave me the best quote and was able to come out a couple of days after the inquiry. Esteban came in early morning, promptly at the time he said he would. This might be a minor detail for some, but a big deal for me. He was very amicable and professional. He taped everything neatly in my bathroom, helped me remove whatever was in the way and got to work. After a couple hours, he was pretty much done. The odor of the paint was pretty strong, but with all the windows open and multiple air cleaners set on high, the smell disappated after a couple hours or so. Now, the tub looks shiny and brand new! Restroom looks amazing without having to spend thousands for a complete remodel. Thanks, A&E.
