Google sent them a plaque with my review on it about 18 months ago that's how much I loved it..... Since leaving Tails of Success (April 2, 2019) Fletcher has gained 8 pounds, no drooling or "snarky" behavior....Seriously he's a husky, being snarky is what they do, but moving on... My vet mentioned that she has seen multiple dogs that have developed "behavioral problems" or "anxiety" at Tails of Success. They have more than doubled the dogs there daily and the building did not change in size. It's too many dogs in a small space, dogs do not like their space invaded. I have it IN WRITING from my Vet she did not recommend Tails for this reason. Additionally due to some digging, I also know for a FACT they hired the significant other and daughter of a current employee-neither of which have any experience with dogs! Subsequently those two were let go for stealing!! (Who steals and what exactly do you steal from a dog daycare?) I wish it had ended better but Tails of Success was so horrible to my dogs at the end. They got too big for their Britches so to speak. The owner was walking around with $1500 Italian boots on (I'm from NYC, I know these things) THEN they had the nerve to tell me that I had "too many complaints" about their facility and told me my dogs weren't welcome there anymore. All bc they put fletcher in a pen by himself ALL DAY and he was drooling excessively (would come home soaked like he had been bathed). A worker told me he spilled his water bowl at first, then they called a few days later bc he was drooling a lot and they wanted to make sure his vet knew. The day before we terminated our customer contact I saw a girl SCREAM at him at the door on the way out and Missy ("communication agent") tried to convince me I didn't see what I thought I did and that Fletcher "has had good interactions" with that staff member Anyone that brings their dogs to Tails be cautious- there is a reason they are the ONLY dog daycare that doesn't have webcams to watch your dogs off site. Also after you leave make sure they don't automatically deduct monthly dues from your account bc they did that to me, by mistake I'm sure (insert eye roll).

I said "she's never had sedation...she's only getting her private area trimmed, she's had this done multiple times" and then they just said okay and I dropped her off to pick her up later...also weird, but okay. almost TWO HOURS goes by, no phone call. too many red flags, my mama instinct kicked in. I leave to go get her. I WALKED IN TO TWO TECHS SHAVING MY BEAUTIFUL DOUBLE COATED BABYS ENTIRE BACK AND SIDES!!! I yelled "STOP! what are you doing?!" I spoke to TWO DIFFERENT TECHS about ONLY NEEDING HER BUTT AREA TRIMMED! I said the morning of AND when I booked the appointment. then one of the techs has the audacity to say "yeah we were wondering why she was needing a medical grooming." SO WHY DID NOBODY CALL ME??? no one asked me or explained to me what was going to happen!!! clueless, dumb, and no one is in charge of these CHILDREN that "work" there making appointments. We have been bringing our pets to this office for a couple of years, and the front desk…read morestaff--especially Bunny--has always been kind. Unfortunately, a recent situation has made us decide to move our care elsewhere. Our dog has struggled with chronic UTIs since birth, and we have worked with this office for nearly two years to try and find the cause. At the vet's recommendation, we saw a specialist, who suggested an extended 8-week course of antibiotics due to the specific bacteria involved. The vet here agreed and prescribed what was supposed to be enough medication for the full 8 weeks. We were also told to drop off a urine sample at the end of the course. When the medication ran out, I brought in the urine sample and told the front desk we had just finished the 8 weeks. Several days later (close to a week later) we were told the medication should have lasted longer, meaning we unknowingly didn't get the full course. Therefore, the UTI has since returned. The office now seems to claim this was our fault, suggesting we gave too many pills, despite us following the prescription instructions exactly. To make matters worse, while our dog is now experiencing bloody urine, the focus has shifted to blaming us and promoting Purina dog food instead of urgently addressing her immediate medical needs. We are not opposed to considering a diet change--we've even tried in the past--but Purina alone will do little to stop the bleeding compared to completing a full, specialist-recommended 8-week course of antibiotics. I have since called the office three times after noticing we were shorted antibiotics and all the vet tech keeps bringing up is Purina dog food. . . All the while, my dog is bleeding profusely. This is a real shame, because we truly liked coming here. But based on our experience and other reviews, mistakes here seem to be met with blame-shifting rather than accountability. Thankfully, we're moving soon, and the new area has some great, well-reviewed vets. We're hopeful our dog will finally get the thorough, compassionate care she needs.

A horrific experience with the new ownership that required a visit to my veterinarian after a week-long stay traumatized my little lady, and I chose to never use them again. That is until the (2nd) owner chose to sell the business to Graham and Kathleen - the newest owners of Puppy Love Playcare. Similar to the original owners, Kathleen and Graham also live on site. After learning of the new change in ownership, I chose to give them a call and spoke with Kathleen for quite some time. Kathleen was forthcoming and answered all of my questions. I then decided to give Puppy Love another try and am so thankful that I took the chance! My little old lady was terrified when we first pulled up and she realized where she would be staying. I'm sure she was remembering the trauma she had experienced with the previous owner. But after picking her up from that week-long stay, I couldn't have been happier. It took Kathleen and Graham a few days to get her to let down her guard and relax, but she finally did so. And she showed no signs of stress when it was time for her to come home. After such a positive experience, I chose to use Puppy Love again for a two night stay, with the same results. This time my little lady acclimated even faster and enjoyed herself even more. If you had previously used Puppy Love prior to Kathleen and Graham's becoming the new owners and are afraid to give it another try, either because of a bad experience or reading some of the horrible reviews posted during that period of time, I would suggest putting those fears aside and giving the new owners a try. Going forward this will be the only daycare or long-term boarding facility I will use for my little old lady.

Flowers were planted everywhere. You can see a big metal heart, a gigantic cow, and signs for the petting zoo and the farm walk. We started inside. When you first walk in you are greeted by the gift shop. Lots of fun things here. My daughter of course was totally entranced by this part of our adventure! Then we started with small animals. We saw bunnies, rats, ferrets, and turtles. They all seemed content and well cared for. Everything looked and smelled clean. They had hammocks, toys, food and water, and space to play. The kitties were next. Though the cages are always smaller than you'd like to see due to necessity, almost all of the them had a box, a bed, and a litter box, and quite a few were doubles that had places to climb, toys, and "privacy" visors for kitties who just wanted to nap in peace. There were a couple of larger rooms with cat towers and other fun things for free roam time and visitors! We saw the dogs last. There weren't too awful many, and most of the rooms were signed "staff only". So that part was a little bit disappointing. I would have loved to have a little more interaction with the pups! We wandered outside after that to scope out the petting zoo, which was closed at the time of our visit, and then the farm trail. We LOVED this part, as we got to see horses, cows, pigs, and ostriches! There was also a really beautifully done pet cemetery, complete with "rainbow bridge". If you're an animal person this really tugs at those heartstrings. You know what I'm talking about! The whole farm trail was just so beautifully done and well maintained. And it made for a decent walk, too! On our way back to the parking lot we saw some other things that caught our eye, like sidewalks bricks that were laid "in memory". Right next door is a playground, too! Absolutely 100% recommend for pet adoption, volunteering, or if you are just looking for a fun place to meander like we were.

This just proves what I've been saying to Manuel for years; there are no decent White people in Rochester This means if you're in a bad marriage or whatever and your violent ex drops of your beloved pet as revenge they're not giving it back cos they sure didn't care to bother letting me know or returning our pet to us when he was illegally brought in May they all suffer from stage 4 cancer and may this facility be shut down, and trust me read all the 1 star reviews. Other daycares crate your dog during the day and only let them out periodically, WAGS doesn't do that. Our dog is able to run around and play with her friends all day. If you want your dog to be crated for a nap or you would like them to be fed lunch, they will accommodate that as well. They have both indoor and outdoor play-areas, with mini playgrounds for the dogs, and pools in the summer. They also have comfy couches for dogs to relax on when the need a little R&R. They post a lot of photos on Facebook, and do cute events during the year too (if you take your dog to WAGS you are guaranteed a ton of adorable pet photos). The staff is great as well, my partner and I definitely trust that they're taking the best care of our dog. I can't say enough good things about WAGS !

The following is a letter/feedback we sent to Wags Dog Club after our dog was injured within their…read morecare. In reply to our letter, Wags responded questioning if the injury even occurred on their property. To the staff and management of Wags Dog Club , In the last few months since Merlin's injury that occurred while under your supervision, we've stressed over and analyzed all avenues to which has led to us sending this letter to you and your team. As many of you are pet owners, we know that the last call you'd ever want to receive would be like the one you gave on January 5th. My husband and I would like to think that since Merlin started attending your daycare that we as pet owners were laid back and didn't ask too much from your staff. We didn't push back when we paid for his nails to be trimmed, only to see that they weren't. We can count more than a handful of times repeatedly asking if his nails had been trimmed and we were assured they were, even though you could see that not even the tips of the nails had been touched. We didn't push back the time Merlin came home with teeth marks on his abdomen. You said you didn't notice, so we took your word for it. We weren't upset when Merlin came down with a slight case of kennel cough. Even if that meant your team wasn't cleaning properly. That's why we keep our pets vaccinated, right? The pictures you took of him dressed up for special events/holiday, where you could tell the staff hastily threw the outfits on him and his face was always covered in gunk. We never complained and always paid for each picture. We also didn't complain the time your staff brought the wrong dog out to our car. Even after telling the staff that it was the wrong dog, and them insisting they gave us the correct dog, we still trusted you and your team. With all of that being said, when you called on us January 5th to tell us there was an incident and Merlin would need to be seen by a vet, we would have assumed you would have been honest with us. We would have assumed that you and your staff even if Merlin wasn't one of your favorite dogs would have followed up to see how he was doing. Instead, between your understating how severe his wound was (saying he had a gash did not begin to encompass the gravity of the situation), to telling us that you have no idea how he was hurt, and that he never cried out in pain, make your actions even more disconcerting. The fact that it's a lie you were comfortable telling us, shows that we 100% misplaced our trust in your staff. By you telling us that you have no idea how Merlin was injured tells us that you were not supervising the dogs. Which would make us wonder, how long did our pet run around with a hole in his shoulder? The thing is, there would have been blood, even if Merlin had managed to get caught on some sort of equipment, the hole on his back would have bled a lot. There is no way that someone was randomly petting him and just happened to notice he had a wound large enough to need stitches and a drainage tube. But we know as well as you, that the injury came from another dog. Besides his larger wound you could see where the other dog's teeth scraped his skin. Truthfully, had Wags been upfront about the incident, telling us that "Dog B" attacked Merlin, the only thing that would've changed is we would have asked moving forward to no longer place Merlin in that group and to keep him and the other dog apart. We get it, this is something that could have happened in our own backyard. What we don't get is why you weren't honest. Or that no one from your staff ever called to check on him. Which further showed us that our beloved pet was only a number to you and we cannot trust you. My husband and I are all for helping small/locally owned businesses (one of the reasons we loved sending Merlin to your daycare) and we understand that leaving bad reviews can be detrimental to small businesses, much like yours. But as the months have gone by and we've had a lot of time to reflect on the situation we decided to send you a letter to let you know just how much your lack of care affected us. Because of this, we will be sharing our story/feedback with others, for anyone that is interested to know what type of business ethics you uphold.
