Their biscuits and gravy beat mine and that's hard to do

All I can say is WOW. We happened into here honestly by chance and I'm so thankful we did because we've now found our favorite spot. Today we had breakfast but my family is looking forward to trying their dinner options. We were chatting with another couple at a different table who told us how the chefs in the back have been working for locally renowned restaurants in the area for decades and dang did the food prove them right! Soooo good. Very family friendly, very great prices. Will be back often now!

This is a post on Facebook where they put their specials for the day that speaks so highly of the chef

I am not fond of the parking at this place but I guess there's nothing they can do about that I lucked out today and got a spot right up front amazing breakfast

Visited a few times over the past few weeks. Had breakfast and lunch. Both were very good. Friendly staff, good food, excellent value for the money. Have not had dinner yet, but I'm sure it will be good. I highly recommend A&G Diner. We did not take photos of our lunch meals, however we had a turkey club ( came with two sides) I had the chicken rice soup and side salad. My granddaughter had spaghetti with butter and her drink was included in the kids meal price.

Where do I begin? My family and I were out in Brandon to do a "Facebook Marketplace Meetup" and decided we would try something new since we were on the opposite side of town. We passed a few different places that piqued our interest, but then we were at a stop light on Parsons and saw A&G Diner. A&G is a tiny "hole-in-the-wall" type of place, which we love. And it was PACKED at 6:30pm. We finished our Market Place transaction and made our way back to A&G. By the time we got there at 7:30pm, the crowd was more manageable (they close at 9pm on Fridays). Zoie was our server and she was very friendly. She was happy to welcome new customers and gave us the "lay of the land." To be honest, our choices were a bit overwhelming, simply because there was so much we wanted to try. After much deliberation and questions very patiently answered by Zoie, I decided on the Fish Sandwich, Fries and Cole Slaw. My son ordered the Chicken and Waffles, my daughter ordered their Cuban Sandwich and freshly made Deviled Crab, and my wife had the Chicken Picatta. Oh, and my wife and I love Fried Okra, so we ordered a side of that as well, as well as the onion rings. The verdict? It was all DELICIOUS. The fish sandwich was Sea Bass. It was light, fluffy and perfectly cooked. My sides were also great. The Cuban Sandwich was thick and juicy, with perfectly pressed Cuban Bread. The Waffles were thick and perfectly cooked, along with the Fried Chicken Tenders. And the Picatta? My wife was very surprised to have such a good Picatta at a "diner." BTW, the tomato slices in the Picatta picture are from the Fish Sandwich. The Fried Okra, was also fresh and tasty. But be warned, the servings are HUGE. We had plenty of food for lunch the next day. My Fish Sandwich was accidentally even larger than it was supposed to be, as the chef misread the order. They actually apologized for giving me so much food! :) As our dinner progressed, we had a wonderful conversation with our server, another server, and the owner. A&G was a very pleasant surprise and we will definitely find reasons to go back to Brandon so we can eat there again.

The service is phenomenal and top tier. Very welcoming and warming environment. Very affordable as well. I will be revisiting many, many more times! The food feels like home.

I stopped by recently with a friend for brunch around 11am. It was relatively empty when I arrived and there was plenty of parking, but I imagine that might get a little difficult when the crowds pick up during the weekend. Bartender was wonderful and she poured drinks STRONG! You really can't beat their Irish breakfast deal - $15.99 and it includes either 2 Bloody Marys or drinks up to $10 in value. The breakfast was really good and filling. This is a plastic silverware kind of place and if you don't drink, you'll only find off brand soda to choose from. But if you love a good dive bar with some pub food and strong drinks, this is your spot! I'll be back.

Our server said they do serve a proper English breakfast on the weekends. I guess I'll have to give it a try. If I do I'll be sure to revise my review. Service was fairly quick until it was time to pay the bill. I had to go up to the counter to get this done.

Food smashed into the dirty carpet, menus smeared with grease, slimy handprints on every glass and plastic surface. Is the place cleaned by toddlers?! If the missed health standards aren't enough to deter people (wish I'd read those beforehand), the layers of grime should be a red flag. If that's what customers are seeing, imagine the kitchen. Also, the food was bad. Like everything. Grisly gnarled chicken, inedible, dry cornbread, and nasty mac and cheese. I didn't try anything else because it was so gross. My family members also hated their food. Staff waited until the last minute to refill things as it seemed like someone is opting to cut some sharp corners. Again, I felt bad for everyone working there. It seemed busy enough to turn a profit, yet there was something depressing about the vibe. I came here last year with my dad, and it wasn't like this, so it was disappointing. We were relieved to get out for under $100, but it was just nightmare fuel. Not worth it. Colombian spots like this are my jam & it's been on my list to visit for a minute now. The breakfast Sammy definitely set this place apart from the rest. I placed my order with the friendly attendant the wait was a bit long but there was plenty of seating inside (i didn't realize how big this place was inside!) so i sat with my book and before i knew it i was walking out with my order! Thankfully i don't live far so i was home with my order in no time. The breakfast waffle Sammy was delicious i ordered mine with sausage and split half of it with my husband. It was soft and cheesy and I'd definitely get it again next time. I also ordered 3 regular pan de Bonos, an arepa con queso, alfajores, and i heard the guava and cheese muffins were a must so i grabbed one too. Oh yeah and two cafe con leches. I see they have lunch as well so I'm gonna have to go back for a lunch Sammy and maybe some empanadas. I love that they have all the tables inside. Now let's get into the food because you already know that's what we're here for The chicken empanadas? Delicious. No complaints. The Cuban sandwich? It was good... but I'm gonna keep it real like I always do. The meat was flavorful, but it could've been more evenly distributed, and it didn't have that crispy bread texture I look for. Overall, it just didn't hit that top-tier level for me.
