Was looking for a meal that was comforting and light since I was feeling a little under the weather, Pita Fresh Express delivered far beyond expectations. This place did not disappoint, and I wholeheartedly recommend it! I ordered the Kafta Kabob Platter, Lentil Soup, and a side of Hummus. The entire meal was incredibly comforting, the kind of food that truly makes you feel better. The Kafta Kabob was perfectly cooked and wonderfully spiced. The food was not heavy or oily, which is exactly what I needed. Everything tasted fresh and clean. The lentil soup was warm, and soothing, and the hummus was creamy and delicious I almost didn't eat rest of my food. Stopped on the way home from out of town. Small family owned business with a fast casual feel but way better food. When the food came out with sumac I was hyped because I knew it would be good. The woman who took my order was very nice and helpful. The hummus was amazing, creamy in texture and the pita was warm and fresh. SOO good. The babaganoush was not my favorite because I prefer creamier but it was still quite good. Fattoush salad dressing was incredible. I got it with chicken and I didn't even need to. Falafel wrap was amazing. The falafel was fresh, the wrap was press toasted perfectly I love a toasted wrap. Light balsamic glaze on the outside, it was the perfect portion. Get a wrap! If I go back (quite out of the way from where I am probably an hour) I would get hummus, fattoush and a falafel wrap. I got a to go mix grill, I picked at the meat to try. Pita Fresh Express serves up fresh ingredients and delicious bites! My boyfriend and I checked our Pita Fresh Express over the weekend and we've been back twice since then. The food is fresh and so, so delicious. We shared an Appetizer Sampler + a Kafta sandwich + falafel on our first visit. Everything we bit into was delicious and made us want more. Since then, we've been back to pick up take-out and I devoured the Fried Kibbeh. Overall, Pita Fresh Express is a hit and I'll be a repeat customer. We stopped here on our drive home to Fort Myers & was pleasantly surprised at the flavor & quality of the food, the customer service & the cute ambiance inside! The meat is cut down very tiny but it mixes well with the rice. 4 pieces of flat bread resting on top of a nice salad. I also added the baklava tiny cut but nice and tasty. 3 sides of the super skinny bread lol. Comes in a tiny roll but opens up huge! Can definitely convert the plate deals into wraps. Could definitely make 4 wraps in each plate. U can literally feed 4 people no problem. Also the humus. Will be eating that tomorrow. Looks amazing. We stopped by this newer restaurant and we're not disappointed. We came by and no one else was there. We were glad to see the chicken shawarma stacked and rotating beside the gyro meat. We ordered a chicken sharwarma salad and Mixed meat platter special with chicken, beef shawarma and gyro meat with flafal. The salad was great and they gave me some of their house dressing. both were really good. The mixed meat trio was good but a bit dry. We had left overs to take home. We also tried one of each dessert, sweet but good. The decor is simple and clean. The couple that are the owners were so nice and attentive. We enjoyed our lunch. read more

WOW! i wanted to try this place and not go to my normal go to mediterranean restaurant i go to and i think this place will be my new go to! i got the falafel wrap combo, baba Ganesh and the vegetarian grape leaves. ALL of it was amazing! the falafel wasn't dry at all which i've found to happen at other places and wraps were big. the baba ganesh was EASILY the best i've ever had it was so good and chunky and the vegetarian grape leaves were very flavorful. i highly recommend! compared to other restaurants that serve this food i feel it's also way more affordable for the portions you are getting as well! plenty of yummy options for fellow vegetarians out there :) read more

The rice and salad were equally delicious. My sister ordered the 'Mixed meat Rice Bowl' and she ate every bite! The gyro meat was tender and flavorful, there was also plenty of rice and salad to complement the dish. I wouldn't change anything, it all tasted so fresh and flavorful. The food is super fresh, quick and flavorful. If you call in the order it'll be done when you get there. I love how affordable it is and so much food. It's got places to sit in there is you want but it's not like a restaurant where you are being served. I don't like fast food, so this is my fast food. Unfortunately the service here is awful. Waiting an hour for food, with staff "checking" on it three times and never actually doing anything. Eventually a teenager came in from the back and took it upon himself to take care of it. The several adult staff members didn't not care whatsoever. No apology, no refund, no nothing. I meant to eat a little of everything.... Lamb Grape leaves - smaller than expected but sooo delicious. I actually love this size. You can just pop'em in your mouth. Then I started on the chicken shawarma. Big mistake because I couldn't stop eating it until it was gone. It was that good. Gosh, I want more. Huge portion by the way! So, now I was full. I had to try the hummus though, right? Yummmmmmm. Perfect. Now I was eyeballing the other three items. I love kibbe so I really didn't want to eat it without being able to properly enjoy it because I am sure it will be delicious. I did try the falafel and it tastes as falafel should. I cannot speak to the gyro wrap and the kibbe yet because the chicken shawarma was irresistible once I tried it. I have no doubt at all that both are exceptional, though. I wanted a place to get a decent gyro. Acropolis has gone downhill and truly Greek isn't doing it. Salems usually has the least freshest ingredients. My travel companion and I found this great option for lunch with Yelp after five hours of travel to Tampa. Just another storefront in a strip mall, this clean, well lighted space should have 5 blinking stars on its marquee!!! Lots of traditional Mediterranean menu choices, including sandwiches which could be had as a combo with fries and a drink. When asked, the order taker easily endorsed any other side dish other than fries. We each had a chicken shwarma sandwich, hers with hummus, mine with tabouleh.
