We started with coffee and the aforementioned pastries (get them early because they all sell out!). All three were exceptional and next time I'll go next door to their market and buy some to take home. From there we dug into breakfast dishes. Absolutely speechless. . . . We stumbled upon this place and I can now say, without hesitation, that this is my favorite restaurant in the state of Florida. Beautiful decor, fantastic staff, and out of this world food makes this place top 5 in my books. She suggested the croissant cinnamon roll that is now cemented as one of the greatest sweet treats I've ever had. My wife and I shared the lamb pita and Greek dip. The lamp was shredded and absolutely delicious, we added feta (You have to add the feta). The pita and the tzatziki tied the whole gyro together. The Greek dip has a fantastic chicken and an aioli. For example, someone at our table ordered the croissant cinnamon roll, which usually sells out quickly. We thought we had made it in time, but unfortunately they had already sold out. Our server went above and beyond by going to the market next door to get one, warming it up for us, and bringing it to the table. That level of service is exactly what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The food was delicious. I ordered the lamb pita and really enjoyed it. One small downside is that they charge for many add-ons, like +$2.50 for feta. I would expect feta to already come in a lamb pita, so it felt unnecessary to charge extra. That said, the food quality is excellent. However, if I do ever get the biscuit again I would go with a side of jam, not butter. That biscuit is so buttery already. My husband got the croissant cinnamon roll and it's so good. It's light and the frosting is to die for. This plus black coffee is a chef's kiss. I veered off the coffee and got a Greek honey matcha latte. Went here prior to the Stadium Series game on a COLD Sunday afternoon. We were seated in their back patio area, which had PLENTY of patio heaters to keep everyone warm - big plus! Before saying what I ordered, I'll preface this by saying that I grew up a picky eater and that still lingers a little bit now, hence me ordering a Smash Burger at a Greek restaurant. I do not regret ordering it in the slightest - from the extremly soft, warm buns (made in house daily, from what I heard) that seemed to almost melt when I bit into it (in the best way possible), to the burger that was juicy and cooked to perfection - this was one of the best burgers I've had. To drink, I ordered off of their Gasparilla cocktail menu and got "The Black Pearl", a dark rum cocktail with lime, greek honey, angostura bitters and an orange peel. I'm typically a whiskey guy, so this was a bit out of my wheelhouse but it was nice! It was smooth and refreshing, while also warming me up to combat the cold weather. Our waiter, Patrick, was solid and the multiple runners came to the table to clean off old dishes and bring food were very quick and attentive. We came to Psomi in mid-afternoon and were thankful to get a table indoor for the lovely A/C! As usual, we had to get the bread basket while we waited for our food. I was sad that they were out of several items in the bakery at 1:30p. I've never been here for dinner, but I can only imagine how many times the servers have to apologize by evening time. I got the lemon orzo soup which was delicious. Ii also got a blueberry muffin that was good, but not as good as some of the other pastries I've had here. The pork gyro was very fragrant and flavourful. It comes with a side of fries, which were pretty good. The fries come with ketchup and kalamata aoili, which I learned was not a dip that is pleasing to my taste buds. The Greek dip is a sandwich with chicken and arugula. The dip was extremely salty, and the chicken was soaked in it, so there was no escaping the taste of impending dehydration. We didn't even finish half of it. They have valet parking, which was $5 when we went. They don't have their own parking lot, so they take the car somewhere else. Everything is baked fresh in-house, and the whipped butter it comes with is absolutely unreal. The Santorini Spritz is light, bright, and insanely refreshing--perfect for a sunny brunch. The Psomi bagel special is next-level, but here's the pro move: add the smoked salmon. It's some of the best I've ever had--super fresh, silky, and full of flavor. I've also had the chance to meet the chef, a young Michelin award winner who's not only incredibly talented but also incredibly humble. I do wish it was open for dinner, but there's something about it being a breakfast and lunch-only spot that keeps it feeling extra special.
