I had my pistols in a bag next to my chair, secured and unloaded and he demanded that I remove them and put them in my car. Said I was endangering the class, despite the fact that he was carrying a loaded pistol on his hip. I got my license, however, I really don't want to go there for any type of shooting or classes again unless they change their attitude!

I did so, and by Feb '26, we went back to buy a gun through him. He was not there, so we asked if they carry a particular gun. They did, and gave us further valuable info. They didn't have the one we wanted in stock, and we wanted Kris to help us anyway, but they were scheduled to have a shipment in 4 weeks. So we returned yesterday and this time Kris was there and he helped us buy the gun of our choice. To say that everyone who works there is extremely helpful and friendly, is an understatement. All the employees are active or retired law enforcement and it's a very safe-feeling store. I've never felt that secure anywhere. We are returning in a few days to pick it up, bc there's a background check waiting period, for which I'm grateful. Kris has so much information and is highly qualified to answer all our questions. Then I found Lee's, and everything changed. Justin walked me through everything--weight sizes, rod types, bait selection--all in a way that was clear, approachable, and perfect for a beginner like me. Starting something new like this can be overwhelming and intimidating, but Justin made it incredibly digestible. He's patient, friendly, and knowledgeable as heck. On top of that, he gave me some great tips on local fishing spots and some DIY tricks that work for him. The prices are super reasonable too--much better than big-name stores like Dick's or even Sierra. If you're new to fishing or looking for quality gear and advice, you can't go wrong with Lee's.
