This was my third store that I visited as a first time gun buyer and buy far it was the friendliest most knowledgeable people that I could ever ask for not only did they save me a ton of money but I did not leave the shop with out asking every question that I had and they gave me so many different professional responses that I will not be going to any other gun store except for Good Guys Guns they did not make me feel stupid for asking questions that I was a little embarrassed about asking I can just say once again that not only did I spend less than $200 on my first long gun but they gave me a free strap and about a half hour of answering questions that I'm sure they get every day and they did it with a smile if you are like me over 50 and have not bought a gun yet and are planning on getting a firearm do your self a favor and go and visit Good Guys Guns you will not be disappointed at all read more

This store is great! It is a nice and clean store. One of the owners is always there. The staff is super knowledgable. They have a wide range of rifles, handguns, huntsman supplies and a gunsmith on premises. They also have a super cute jewelry selection. My kids have been in with me. One of the sales associates is a jack ass! I was going to buy the rifle but I change my mind! I asked him if I could take a look at it and he said to me to be careful handling it because it's a 3000 dollar rifle before he let me touch it! I don't liked how he deals with the customer! I cannot say enough good things about Alex and his team. I know nothing about hunting or guns but had the job of selling my dad's old collection. I found Good Guys by doing a quick online search. Unfortunately dad's memory is not what it used to be so I was really going into this blind and could have very easily been taken advantage of. Went there this morning to check them out. I've always heard decent things about them. Be super aware they don't have traditional hours. They generally open from 2pm to 7pm on weekdays. Suffice to say they were closed when we got there. Guess we'll try another day. Also be aware of the tight street parking. However there's apparently more parking in the back of the store. read more

Best Gun Shop in the area by A LOT. They want to help, they are actually GOOD GUYS. I've called a bunch of shops, most NY shops put their nose down at you, and don't want to work with you on NY gun laws. These guys will help, they will do what they can, to get you in the hobby that they love. I live about 40 minutes away across the TZ, will never go to anyone else, those other stores don't deserve your business, the Good Guys do. The gunsmith is a great guy also he did a repair for me I could not figure out and tried not to charge me for it. I refused and said I wanted to pay because he did the work and I want to support my local gun store. they are always growing and building the stock that they have. As a newbie in the gun world they have always treated me with respect and have taken the time to educate me about things I was interested in.
