After a miscommunication between my insurance and Enterprise, I was set-up with a Jeep Renegade for a month. It was new, it was super clean, and it was enormous, but the Enterprise folks did a fantastic job making sure I felt comfortable driving it (and offered to switch me out to something smaller if I ever got overwhelmed). I didn't end up driving it that much, but we did have a major snowstorm during my rental period, and I can see how a car like this makes a difference in slick weather! I digress. The staff checked in with me throughout the course of the month to see how I was getting on, to make sure we were all on the same page (the insurance, the repair shop, them, and me), and to reassure me when I started getting panicky about the process. To be fair, they were the friendliest voices throughout the entire ordeal. Our very last call was just to let me know they received the car back, it was in great condition, they were appreciative to receive it back with a half tank of gas (which is exactly how it was given to me), and that the $100 hold on my card was going to be taken off. "We hope the next time you use Enterprise it's for a super fun trip somewhere and not for car repairs!" was how our relationship ended. Overall, the customer service was exceptional and appreciated as I was 11/10 stressed the entire time and, admittedly, not my best self to them initially. Thanks for your patience, folks! Traveled to Saco on the train from Boston and Jared called to confirm our arrival that morning and…read morewhen I mentioned we would be getting a taxi from the train station, he offered to have an employee pick us up. They were there waiting when we got off the train (even with the train being delayed) and had everything ready to go when we arrived at the office. On Saturday, September 28th, eight days later, we returned the vehicle (which was great) and when we had difficulty finding an Uber to take us back the train station, the employee (I feel horrible that I cannot remember his name) offered to take us back when he closed (about 30 minutes after we finished dropping off the car). We were very grateful and appreciate of the above and beyond service both picking up and dropping off. Highly recommend Enterprise in Saco if you need a rental car in the area. We were not able to find any availability from the usual companies, so asked our hotel staff for help. They put us in touch with Go Rentals. The GM, Kermit Brawner, personally delivered a gorgeous Mercedes to our hotel. So fun to drive a convertible along the winding roads on the coast! The rental experience here was a breeze thanks to the staff at this location. They are what made the rental experience great. Due to flight delay on my recent trip I arrived about 9 hours late. Rather than a usual rental car company that would have already given away my reserved car I arrived and was quickly given my reserved car. The check in for me and all those ahead of me was probably the quickest I have seen. They had 2 people on the desk at 10 pm. Communication was excellent during the rental. Amazing to me as I returned the car before 5 AM they still had someone to receive the car and give me a final receipt. That is unheard of at an airport this size to have someone working that early. I made my reservation online in advance of my trip, so once I landed I just had to navigate from the main airport to the rental area. Everything was well labeled so, so far so good. Truly the only part of check-in I could "complain" about was that the gentleman at the desk who was finalizing the rental was clearly not listening to everything I said. He asked three or four times if I had a preference of the car I got. Truly I didn't - I just needed to drive from Point A to Point B on a Friday afternoon, and back on Sunday. He finally stopped asking me what car I wanted when his female colleague loudly told him to knock it off. (Thank you, ma'am!) I get it, sir: you wanted to be helpful. But I had been up and traveling 12 hours at that point - I'm glad your coworker realized the best way to help me was to just get me on the road. Finally I was set loose to go get my car. This was actually the hardest part. The garage is NOT well labeled or even particularly well lit, so once I had left the building I was quickly turned around. Fortunately garage staff were able to nudge me in the right direction to the car. But seriously: better signage and lighting for the whole garage (and all the rental companies) would be great. That ends the tale of getting the car. Bringing it back was much less eventful - a staff member came over, asked how my trip was, and also asked if I knew anything about a big crack in the windshield that I didn't see when first leaving the dark garage. Fortunately he understood that there was no way I had caused that loooong crack during a two day rental period. It was noted for the team to deal with and off the airport I went. In summary: Very straightforward, no major problems at all. I'd rent from them again during a future trip.
