I have been going to A&K tires for over 20 years for near new used tires. I buy premium tires for my nice cars. You do need to make sure you get the right tires for your car, and also take your own measurements of the tread to determine useful life. The owner, Mr. O, has been an honest man and has taken care of any problem that may arise. Do your homework, pay attention to the install, and ask questions. The people help there is variable, but they do want you to be satisfied. The tires are a very good value when you know what you are buying. I will continue to give them my business.. read more

Beware of these scammers/con artist ! First the employee MARIO comes out and greets me I explain my situation and inform him I need 2 used tires so he goes in the back then comes back with 2 very good almost new Michelin tires 60 $ each, perfect please proceed with tire installation " after the installation I noticed the tires were different than the ones he first brought out " I confronted mario and told him " these tires you guys installed are not the ones you showed me. First he denied, said it was the tires " and then he proceeded to blame the guys who installed the tires saying they got the tires mixed up" sure! Please beware" These guys will show you a good tire and then install a shitty tire" sounds like con artists to me. read more

So far I'm impressed. Called, they had the slightly used tires that I wanted for a good price, drove in, they threw them on and fixed two leaks quickly (within 30 min max). Friendly people. I paid and left. They told me I have a 30 day warranty??? Cool! Two tires and fixing a flat for the same price as one single new tire anywhere else. I'll update if there are any issues. But appear to be great people, great prices, great tires. Keep it up ya UPDATE:::: the day after buying the tires I had a feeling I might be being scammed. Went to actually check the markings on the tires to find out they didn't sell me the same exact tires I have but rather ones that have a speed rating of 30+ mph LOWER than the other two on the car NOT WHAT WE HAD TALKED ABOUT. My tired shredded along 95 this morning so I stopped here before work. HORRIBLE customer service. They overcharged me for a USED tire, undoubtedly because I am a female and they talked to me like I was stupid. Don't go here. I need 2 tires but I ended up just getting the shredded one replaced then went a mile down the road & got a better tire for $20 CHEAPER!!!! read more

The receptionist Linda and her colleague were helpful as they researched and followed up with me on the exact Bridgestone Tires I inquired about. I went out to run errands after seeing my son off to school, I was surprised to see slow leak in passenger side tire I called and got roadside assistance and was shown the huge nail in tire I called around and found A&K. The place was busy when I arrived as told on phone but I was helped in less than 5 minutes I was told after all tire were looked at that I actually needed the drivers side tire and the tire in question replaced and shown why. Had spent 3 days trying to get a slow leak in my back right tire looked at and hopefully patched. I went to Costco. They said they couldn't and said they would only help if i bought 4 new tires for $900. Went to sears, they said they had no time. Found this place driving by and they had the wheel of in 2 minutes looked at it, unfortunately couldn't patch it but got me another tire on there for 80 bucks. In and out in 15 minutes. Called ahead to check if they had a tire - they had brand and size in stock. When I got to the store, they showed me the used tire and it was in excellent condition. Oscar mounted the tire and put it on the car and we were done in less than 30 minutes. The price quoted on the phone included mounting, balancing, and installation - a great deal since it was 1/2 the price of a new tire. Very pleased with their service. read more

If you're a woman don't go here alone. They will try to swindle you. I woke up to a flat tire yesterday. While driving down Route 1 I spot a sign "used tires $35 and up". I pull in and go inside. After about a 20 minute wait (and me calling out to the people working) someone comes out to assist me. I'm immediately told a used tire would be $75 for my car. When I ask about another option, I'm told $75. I told the man I'd call my fiancé and check about that price because it sounds high for a used tire. When I couldn't reach anyone by phone, I get in the car to pull off. The guy then tells me the man next door has a tire for $50. I tell him I'm not interested. (It turns out that I bought the $75 tire for $50). I had another issue the tire sensor on my car was bad. So the man attempted to send me to his buddy a few doors down. I didn't trust them enough. So I had them put on my spare tire and I headed to my personal mechanic. read more
