At 2pm on a Monday, I was In and out in 20 minutes for the repair of my tire that needed a patch due to a nail (I already knew it would need a patch). They jacked up my car with a portable hydraulic jack, took off the tire, diagnosed whether I needed a plug versus a patch, patched the tire, and put it back on the car in 20 minutes!!! Pricing was extremely competitive: Feb 2025 price was $20 for a plug or $50 for a patch. Convenience, fast, quality work, and a good price. I had a difficult time with my tires because of locking lug nuts that were impossible to remove because the lug nuts were frozen on. They tried to help me and then referred me to JM Auto repair who also tried their hardest - at no charge - to take off the locking lug nuts. When all this failed I was referred out to BMW of Silver Spring. While I could have let BMW take it from there I wanted to go back to JM Tire Depot to let them finish the job. My daughter hit a curb and needed two new tires, quickly. Even though it was already 4pm, they were able to get her in and replace the tires (plus mounting, balancing and disposal of old tires) quickly. JM Tire was also the least expensive of the places I called. One peculiar thing, which is why this is 4* instead of 5: there apparently was a tip line on the credit card machine which my daughter absent-mindedly agreed to. Had to come in unexpectedly because I had to have a wheel replaced. Apparently I somehow cracked one of my rims so I had to buy a new one. I had been riding around on my donut all week so I wanted to get it taken care of on my day off. Lucky for me that my tire was still In good condition so I only needed to have it taken off of the old rim and put on the new one. I chose JM because they are close to my house. I thought they opened at 8:00 but turns out they didn't open until 8:30. I got there shortly after 8 and they were setting up for the day. They were very nice and even got me checked on even though they weren't open yet. I didn't even have and appoint and they still got to me quickly. The service was super fast. I don't think I was even there for 15 minutes before my car was done. They disposed of my old rim and even placed my donut back in the storage space inside my trunk. I can't thank these gentlemen enough. It might look small from the outside, but the customer service is extraordinary. I had a huge nail in my tire that was leaking air quick, and I didn't find it until late Sunday night. I tried a few places that all said they couldn't do anything until the next day. I called JM and they said as long as I got there before they closed (which was in 20 minutes), they'd take of it right away. I had a random flat tire, probably a nail or screw but luckily for me the opened on time and happened to be very close to where I had to put on the spear tire. I went there for a flat repair and they charged me $60 to repair one flat tire. I could have bought a brand new tire for that. What a joke.

No problem with the work or speed of service, although I was the only customer there at the time. But $70 to patch a standard sized car tire that I carried in and out of the door is ridiculous. (They did not have to remove it from or put it back on the car, I brought it there in another vehicle) Not really sure why he rebalanced the tire when he was done. If he would have marked the tires sidewall at the valve stem before dismounting, he could have mounted it back in the same place and there would have been no need to rebalance. But I'm sure that's just a trick to charge me more, and I'm sure it contributed to the outrageous $70 bill. I'm local to them and the place I use to use went out of business. So I would have probably went back for all tire repair needs in the future, that is until I got the bill. If had a flat in their parking lot Id take it some where else. read more

Very nice, honest people. Thought I had a slow leak because was having to pump tire every other week but they figured out it was my sensor. Instead of automatically replacing it, they tried cleaning it first for $30 and told me to come back if problem not solved. If the sensor does need to be replaced, it will be $100. Wow! What a *fantastic* find!! We had a flat tire on our van that needed to be repaired. Went on Yelp, saw all these amazing reviews, and found this place which ended up being less than 2 miles from our house. I went there about 11 AM today and was done by 11:30. As soon as I arrived - *without* calling first! - I was greeted professionally, immediately given to a technician who came out to my van with me, examined my defective tire, diagnosed the issue, told me what needed to be done, quoted the cost, and then fixed the tire! $25. Great deal and great service combined; who could ask for more? If you need a repaired tire, this is absolutely the place to go. I'm not sure we'll ever go anywhere else. Wow! read more

This place is phenomenal. Leaving a pay-for-parking lot outside of BWI after a weekend away, I get alerted that my left rear tire is low. Like way low. James Earl Jones's voice low. I take a look and bam...there's a screw right in the middle of the tread. I call these guys and run my car over. They seemed like very nice people, very earnest and helpful. But in the end, whether via mis-communication or wily intent, incompetence or a combination of all three, I was totally ripped off. I had called several local MD tire places for quotes on the replacement cost + wheel alignment for the exact same tire and this place came out to be the 2nd to least expensive place with good yelp reviews, when you *included* the wheel alignment service and old tire disposal fees. The women on the phone did not speak English that well but I was very clear about wanting to get a whole quote that included everything "all in" including "wheel alignment", disposal, etc. They said, yes, yes, wheel balacing, alignment, everything was included. So even though this place was farther from home and less convenient, I went. When I got there, I found out that the wheel alignment *was not* included but by the time I did, they had already taken the old wheels off of my car. Which means that the price I was quoted for four new tires (without alignment) was $160 more than the lowest cost-high yelp rating place I had contacted. Then it turns out their wheel alignment fee was 25% more than I had been quoted by two other places, which were charging the standard going rate in the area. But since I was there and my car's tires already off, I decided to suck it up and pay extra to have them do the alignment. Insult to injury, the place offers no water to their customers, is open/air and has no air conditioning on a hot day, and there is no food/drink place that you can walk to without high risk of injury trying to dart across busy Washington Blvd where there are no sidewalks or crosswalks -- so it cost me $16 in roundtrip cabfare to go to a safe and clean coffee shop a mile down the road to wait 2+ hrs for the wheel change *and* an alignment. But then when I returned, they informed me that they had not had time to do the wheel alignment and that I needed to come back the next day!!! Extra insult to injury, they charged me 30% more than the usual going rate for tire disposal and charged me for the disposal of *4* tires when I had taken one of the better-in-shape tires home as an extra (so they should have only charged me for only 3 disposals). They offered me free tire rotation in the future, but then so does every other tire shop I've ever been to. I'm praying that the actual workmanship for the work they did do is good... time will tell. read more
