Called for service department, explained our problem, which is: Had motorhome winterized in November 2024. Never used it in 2025 due to health issues. Prepping for summer of 2026 and found a problem with our kitchen sink. When winterized, had to have a new kitchen faucet put in. Now there is rust around the faucet base plate and rust spots in the sink, from some chemical that was used during the faucet installation. A&L will do nothing about the damage, which was caused from their work. Their warranty is for 90 days although we had it winterized and would not be using for at least 5 months. Seems they really can't back the techs work. Very disappointed in the service we received and their handling of the problem, flat out refusing to take the blame for shoddy workmanship. read more

Took my rv to them for repair on landing gear for my 5th wheel and told the tech I thought the jacks were the problem , of course they act like they know better . $1100 dollars later they said the motor and gear box was bad . When he was loading it back on my truck it was still making a noise and did about a 4" free fall at that time he said it was normal , like I am some kind of dummy ! First trip out I got it off my truck and the jacks wouldn't move they were both locked up ,I was stuck , called them and they said I need to bring it back in ! I ordered two jacks and put them on my self works fine now cost another $700 which dummy me told them what the problem was in the first place , but , still out $1100 ! So if yo need work done on your camper need to find a reliable person that knows what they are doing ! read more

They "give" you a lifetime warranty as long as you do annual maintenance. My son took his less than 1 year old rv in and it was over $1,000! Well who needs a lifetime warranty at those prices, but the kicker is the labor vs parts pricing. Folks the warranty isn't free. They aren't giving you anything. They are using a scam to steal your money. If you buy there, ignore this scam. It's useless. Very disappointing to watch a company take advantage of folks. We purchased a Forest River Timberwolf destination RV in May of 2024, and from day one we've had ongoing issues with the heating and AC. A major selling point was their Lifetime Warranty, but we were never told it only stays valid if you pay nearly $300 every year for an inspection. We were also never informed that they don't proactively offer or schedule this required inspection. Despite having our unit in their service department multiple times, including winterizing it both seasons, no inspection was ever performed or mentioned. As a result, we are still trying to get the original heating and AC issues repaired, yet the "Lifetime" warranty is now void simply because they failed to conduct an inspection last year. When questioned, our service rep, Scott, claimed the yearly inspection requirements should have been explained during financing. It was not. He also said he "wasn't going to spend our money for us," referencing the inspection, which is ironic since we must now pay out of pocket to repair problems that have existed from day one. Scott accepted no responsibility and told us to call the warranty provider, while also admitting that even if the warranty were reinstated, they wouldn't cover the HVAC issues--despite them being documented while the warranty was active. Had they properly repaired the heating, AC, thermostat, or control unit when we first brought it in, we wouldn't be facing this expense for an unresolved problem two years later. At minimum, given how many times this unit has been in for the same issue, they should take responsibility and fix it. read more

So I had to call and talk to several sales people, and finally after chasing them got to the MGR Matthew Bruno with several emails got to an agreed upon price and worked out the deal. Also, gave a deposit. Well, it took so long, spring is here, and they probably sold it to someone else for more because I beat them up a whole 4K, not much on 6 figure RV. I was paying cash, maybe that bad now a days, and despite numerous emails they would not honor the written price with my deposit, and said they loosing so much money on the deal. I had a broken window since helene on my Keystone Montana High Country 5th wheel. Every place i called wanted me to rip it out etc, leaving me to keep it covered. We have purchased 5 coaches over the years. In July 2024 we purchased our first unit from A&L in Johnson City. Outstanding experience during the purchase and delivery process. In August 2024 during our first cross country trip we had a major leak from the dealer installed washer/dryer. We contacted A&L and they authorized a mobile rv repair service in Colorado. Simple fix as the drain hose was not installed. Then in November 2024 we scheduled a visit to A&L service in Johnson city to repair several punch items typical in a new unit. Most were fairly simple and straight forward. However A&L had our coach for 10 weeks. During this period we were routinely contacting the service department for updates and often received contradicting information along with excuses. Bottom line, don't expect A&L to provide good service from their service department. read more

I was called a M***** F***** by a manager, after complaining about service that wasn't finished, after being told that it was finished before coming to pick it up from over an hour away. I had the camper in for service more times than I have been able to use it camping. The same issues have been on going for more than a year now. They don't care or offer any compensation. We purchased our Rockwood 2720Ik from A&L in Lake Park, GA approximately one year ago. We took it back for some minor repairs and maintenance. The RV was delivered, as we did not have a truck capable of pulling it at the time. Andy assisted us in ensuring that the hitch was properly setup. He setup the Tire Monitoring System and troubleshot the backup camera system. Also, repaired a door that was damaged when I didn't secure it before traveling. They were efficient, helpful and resolved all the issues we had. When it came time to settle up, they're response was have a great New year! Previously, we had worked with a national RV dealer who sold us an RV that was in the shop for 5 of the first 12 months we owned it. I have no hesitation to go A&L for any of our RV needs. read more

WRITTEN ON 2/18: Drove 300 miles down for a long weekend to check out a camper that is usually hard to come by. Was told it was cleaned but the inside of the fridge and freezer and the counter was filthy. It doesn't include the bike rack that was on the listing and all they said was "oh well". We signed and dealership said it would be recleaned, inspected, and ready in 2 days tops. Got a call the next day that it wasn't properly winterized and some parts were busted up. Replacement parts wouldn't be in for another 5 days. Keep in mind, we are paying for lodging for 2 nights to come down, see it, buy it, and make our way back home (which is another overnight stay). How do you purchase something for your lot and not inspect it first? And how do you not inspect it when 2 weeks before driving down, people from 300 miles away say they want to come down and see it? They can't ship it to us but can hold it on the lot so we can waste more money, gas, and time, to drive back down and pick it up for good. Went to sign off on the loan when we overheard the jagoff owner say "It can be nuts around here as long as these nuts are spending money". Right in front of customers. The process could not have been more difficult or tedious. The least they could have done was offer a discount since they are wasting our time and money on their oversights. Would never recommend anyone get ANYTHING from this dealership. All they care about is money, not the product they're selling you. UPDATE 3/8: showed up at 2PM to pick up our camper, the order for our weight distribution hitch never made it from the sales team, so we had to wait hours for that to get set up. Did our walkthrough, our camper was still NOT CLEAN. Same coffee stains and sticky shit in the fridge/freezer, after we were told THREE WEEKS AGO that it would be completely cleaned. According to the meters, our black and grey tanks are somewhat full. We didn't end up leaving the dealership until AFTER 6PM. Hooked up our water at a campsite, turned it in and it immediately started leaking inside the bathroom and out of the filter. So we can't use any water on our camper at the moment. They also left behind disgusting soaked towels and the shards of the previous water filter. We also noticed: the bathroom door is completely gone. There just isn't a door at all. And to top it off, we broke down the dinette and found cigarette butts underneath! Wonderful. This camper is an absolutely filthy disaster and I can't believe A&L did not do their due diligence in inspecting, cleaning, and testing this RV. If I could, I'd bring it back and cancel my loan. But instead we're stuck with a $20k burden. UPDATE 3/9: Had to drive out to A&L to pick up the tool that our camper was supposed to come with (and didn't) in order to fix the water filter. To no avail of course, the filter was screwed on WAY TOO TIGHT and the little plastic tool didn't do anything but make it worse. After being at our campsite for not even 24 hours, (which about 30 mins from A&L) we had to pack everything up and take the camper back to A&L just to have them fix the issue THEY created with the filter (and so kindly blamed us for!) and show us how to remove the canister. If only they would have installed it correctly the first time around! UPDATE 3/10: The black tank was full of sh*t and piss. Some "cleaning" they did. They screwed on the water filter too tight (again) so we are unable to remove it. Hopefully it doesn't shatter (AGAIN) due to the weather tonight so it doesn't need to be replaced (AGAIN!!). We're still finding filth in every single corner of this camper. It's like they only cleaned the 2 things we asked about after we asked they be cleaned, twice, and didn't bother to clean a single other damn thing. Camper did not come with a griddle, as advertised or bike rack, as advertised. It just came with filth, broken shit, and lies. It's currently 8:35PM and instead of enjoying our time we're trying to get the f*cking water filter off!!!!!! read more

Bought our 2024 Grand Design Transend 321bh 5 months ago. We started full time RV living. The only thing I would think A&L could have done better is to talk me into a better hitch. That would have gotten them 4 1/2 . Other than that we are thrilled.. the salesman was great the lady doing the paperwork was a joy the walk through was excellent. I have waited a year to post this review after buying a class A Winnebago from A&L hoping that they would really get their act together. I understand that the flaws associated with our unit are not A&L's direct fault, but they are a dealer and service facility for Winnebago. That being said, we have had numerous problems that are still ongoing after a year. I stopped talking with the GM after I heard repeated excuses on service issues and broken promises of updates. It is then (at least seven months ago) that I started talking with one of the VP's in Florida. That seemed to work for a while but waiting for the past five months for a repeated repair on our couch and camera system, we have given up - which is not a good place to be. Just a small list of things that have gone wrong: actuator broke, macerator leak, water coming in at both slides, refrigerator ice maker leaking, couch frame bent, backup and side camera system not working, AC unit needed replaced, gasket around AC unit not installed correctly causing massive water from storm, and many more. Service technicians are incompetent. I am comfortable saying this since from the moment of walkthrough when the tech tried to tell me the propane lines were the hydraulics for the leveling system to the day, we explained our macerator was leaking and the tech asked what a macerator was. We tried to explain this to our third service manager in a year, Louis. Frankly Louis should have been fired for the way he spoke to my wife like she was an idiot when we were explaining the repeated horrible customer service and lack of communication. He was condescending and just nasty to her with the way he spoke. Recently we have called about our camera system again and here we are two days later with no call back. Thankfully Winnebago has finally agreed to allow us to use an independent facility to fix A&L's mistakes. It's sad that we are not the only customers to feel this way. One only needs to read the reviews to see that you should stay away from this place. We so wanted to like them, but this is not just a service issue but a systemic issue within A&L. Once you sign on the dotted line, they do not care about their customers and can not retain competent techs. If you have recently purchased from A&L and have issues, get approval from your manufacturer, and go somewhere else - other repair and/or mobile techs are in the area. read more

Bought a travel trailer here because of the "lifetime warranty" in August. took it out the next weekend and noticed a small leak coming from the underbelly. Called service and was referred to "David" the service manager and was assured he would call us back. He never called back....ever. Got home, and appeared the leak had resolved so we chalked it up to newbie user error at some point (my fifth sense said otherwise). Took it out for our second trip this weekend and immediately started leaking from the underbelly. My wife and I went to A and L just to see a particular model they had in stock. I had already been shopping and was in negotiations to buy one closer to home in Arizona. Scott took us directly to the unit and let us casually look it over. we then asked to see others to reinforce our decision. Scott was happy to show us anything we wanted and a few of his suggestions. we eventually decided on the one we came to see but still had no intention of buying. Upon returning to the office, we decided to let them take a shot at pricing it. in less than 5 minutes he came back with a price SUBSTANTIALLY less than what I was negotiating at home - and he included a 5th wheel hitch! Done deal! when we came back to get it, Scott greeted us and took us out back where Brandon did an amazing job going over everything, and the guy (I can't remember his name) started a great job on the hitch. Isaac then proceeded to demonstrate how to hitch a 5th wheel, secure it all down and answered ALL of my remaining questions. that guy was awesome!!! Paperwork took 10 minutes. Overall everyone there was amazing! the only reason the review is not 5 stars is that my wife really wanted an accessory that was not in the coach and we have had to call repeatedly to get an answer - which we still don't have - and the person I requested this from (not Scott) has never reached out with the status. Yes, twenty bucks! We received the wrong parts for our trailer and R&L didn't give a crap. I called and texted 4-5 times and NEVER got a response. **DO NOT USE TO INSPECT YOUR RV FOR A SALE** I could share all the details here but in the end they didn't matter to this business and they certainly will not be changing their business practices for anyone who has complaints. Why you ask....we went with this business despite it's mixed reviews. Many of the comments about the service department, the customer service in general and their business practices that were ranked low with negative comments seemed to be a playlist of all we discovered in one interaction with this place. We used them for a presale inspection on a class A RV we were buying and needless to say it was a sham of an inspection. Misinformation, unprofessional, poor customer service at the location, lack of communication and just plain dishonesty. Quick laundry list: Told us they could do a full inspection including mechanical and chassis, they didn't and didn't even have the tools to complete it. Didn't tell us until it was already completed. Told us they were out an entire week, then told our broker agent they weren't (delaying the sale) Scheduled an inspection appointment, never told us or the seller they had done so. Promised an email copy of the results the same day, had to drive 2.5 hours to their location 3 days later to get the inspection report, only to be ignored by all staff in the building until we basically stood in front of them (Stephanie and another employee) so they would acknowledge us and help us. Made excuses about not completing what they said they would do or why things were not correct. List of broken/damaged/not working things on the RV they "inspected", Not a single thing they said was broken/not working was actually faulty. On and on.....just don't waste your time or money. Bought a brand new Dynamax Isata 5 on June 3rd 2021. Went through a very rushed and belated walk through before getting on the toad back to my home in Phoenix. Was told by Mark, Kevin and JD that they are there to help in any way should I have issues. Got back to Phoenix and discovered Fridge did not work, rear AC was intermittent, Satelite Dish did not work, step lock does not work, AGM house batteries appear to be bad, NO filter in house water system, and many more smaller issues. Called for help many times, sent emails, never heard from Pal in service. Had to contact Dynamax and get my own service people to fix Fridge and Satelite. Still dealing with other issues and leaving for a trip tomorro. if I had read all these reviews prior to buying my RV I would have thought twice. Not happy with customer service at all read more

Took our Class A motor home to these folks after moving to the area for diagnosis of our sliders that were inoperable. After taking 3 weeks of finally providing us a quote, we told them to go ahead and order the parts but we had to take the RV as we had a family trip planned. They said it would take 4 weeks for the parts to come in. Ok, no big deal. 5 weeks later, I call to check on the status bcuz clearly, giving me an update is out of the question, and was then told that it would take another 3 weeks since the manufacturers computer system has been down. (for 5 weeks?) I called the manufacturer and they said no, their computers have not been down at any time and there are NO orders placed for this coach (they track it via vin #). Really? So, not only did someone drop the ball, but then created a lie to cover their ball dropping. Hey, A&L, honesty is always the best policy. And, you've lost a lot of money from us because we tend to take care of our RV and spend thousands of dollars on it a year. Your loss. To make matters worse, we were charged for the labor to diagnose the problem and now we don't even know if they were being truthful about the diagnosis. Four hours later I called him and he said he had been busy with customers but would send them to me. It is now 6 1/2 hours since his call they are closed and I never got any pictures. They gave us no credit for the camper we traded in; added it to the price of the new one we bought. They said it had $6,000 worth of options which bumped up the price even more. We found out those "options" were standard. Greedy people. Do not buy from them. The other review is correct about the Lifetime Warranty. I bought a new Grand Design 5th wheel. salesperson was nice and professional but the finance guy was as disrespectful and crude as anyone I've ever encountered. now I have a $80,000 camper that I can't get fixed. I guess my camping is over for this year. First time I used it the refrigerator quit working. first appointment for derby was one month out (mid July) then day or two before appointment they called to move appointment out about 2 months because they were covered up. after several calls to various people I got service date of 8/1. Now one month later parts have been ordered for a month and no one can give me any idea when I'll get my camper back Because parts aren't in and "I'll have to get in line" when they do come in. I have never given a bad review on any company until today. We bought a 5th wheel from A & L last November. We bought it to live in until we build a house. We had a wonderful experience with Bennett the salesperson and David in finance; however once you need service it it horrible. We have had several issues and you expect that with a new camper..unfortunately calls never get returned and it is so frustrating to be paying for something that has so many issues that do not get taken care of. Our most recent experience was in July/aug when we left the camper with them for an inspection and a list of major issues that needed to be fixed, for example the water leaks in the shower down to the underbelly of the fifth wheel and now the underbelly is falling apart. They DID NOT FIX THE underbelly but I was told I could zip tie it back together and they said they fixed the water leak but it still leaks. A zip tie really?? They need to replace the whole bottom material for something they put together that leaked....Also the middle landing gear would not come down they said it was fixed as well and it is not. When I talked to the man over service I explained the most frustrating thing with their service was never getting calls back and things not getting fixed. He said he was working with them to get better with that well guess what I called him Friday august 19th got his voicemail and explained that all the things they said they fixed were not fixed and they needed to take care of it....as of today the 25th I am still waiting for a return call.
