Mike and his team just remodeled our kitchen. We are first time home buyers and had little experience with any renovations. We purchased an old house and decided to knock down a wall and completely gut the kitchen. We knew from the first meeting after interviewing three other contractors Mike was the right guy. We had Mike and his team renovate our master bathroom. This entailed replacing most tile, removing the tub, installing a standing shower, moving shower plumbing and adding second shower head, insetting vanity mirror, replacing lighting and towel bars, replacing vanity, painting and reinstalling toilet. He stuck to his quote and timeline, and they did everything in under 2 weeks. He's trustworthy and very easy to work with and his team was respectful, clean and pleasant. I'm very particular about design and I'm very happy with the result. There was even a small issue after the construction, and Mike came back with the plumber to fix the issue and didn't charge us. I seen there great and amazing work, however once they came they had an attitude. I ignored it, they then decided to change their price to a much higher number than we agreed on over text. That's when I told them "I can get more qualified people for a lower price". Then they lost it saying we are crazy and calling us idiots for changing the price we agreed on, but when I showed them the pictures I took of the text messages. They proceed to ignore me and say they will only do the new price. That's when I lost it and threatened to sue them, in which I almost did. They then left but the police arrived, and I told them I changed my mind. I do not suggest these people they do an amazing job, but their price changes. read more

My house now looks beautiful (I'll upload pictures later). The color that we chose looks very lux and expensive. One of our neighbors told us that they were quoted by another contractor a significantly higher price for the same color. Apparently the color that we chose was supposed to cost more but Mike gave us a really fair price. To have finally found a GREAT contractor that wasn't about doing a fast, cheap job, just to suck money out of us was amazing. They really did appreciate our business, and it showed in the quality of their work. The Owner, Mike showed up every day and worked right alongside his team. After making the deposit for our new vinyl, Mike continued to contact me regarding a time frame, logistics and the weather. It rained for 2 weeks straight and Mike called me every other day to give me an update. When the weather cleared up, and he was able to begin; he showed up on time every single day with a friendly and professional demeanor (his staff did as well). His team made sure to clean up the derby every day. My husband and I are pleased and very happy with my decision to hire Mike over the other overpriced contractor. I wanted to be sure we had the right team and we spoke to many of the contractors here and got a few quotes. We spoke to a lot of good folks but there was something about Mike and Angel when they came to look at the space. My wife is a great cook and had some practical kitchen wishes and I wanted a pocket door, so the powder room door would no longer swing into the dining room. This review is a long time overdue. Mike and his team are great guys and I recommend them hands down. They have now done two jobs for us: one a small renovation and the second an entire apartment redo after a pipe burst. Unlike other contractors we have dealt with, Mike is a totally trustworthy, reliable guy and is all about making sure that things are done right. I really appreciate that he treats my home the way he would treat his own. When a pipe burst and we had to gut our home, Mike was the only guy I trusted to put everything back together. Our scope included a new hall closet, built in shelving, patching of existing wood floors, painting and repair of a shower that was leaking into our neighbors unit. Not only were Mike and his crew professional and efficient, but they were upfront and honest. There were no hidden costs and when they discovered that the anticipated scope of work at the shower was not necessary to repair our leak, they were quick to provide a credit. A HUGE thank you to Mike from A&M Building and remodeling for fixing a leak in my home that has been plaguing me and my family for years. We had actually hired A&M to redo our bathrooms and Mike and team did a beautiful job converting a half bath into a full bath and updating our outdated master bathroom with all new tiles, cabinets and fixtures. He was wonderful and easy to work with and on a whim, I asked him to take a look at the roof as well and I am so glad I did. We have had contractor after contractor come and assess the roof, "patch it" or strip it and seal it and still the leak persisted during heavy rain. Mike was the first and only person to suggest it might be the flashing against wall (where the roof and the wall meet) rather than the actual roof itself and for the first time in years we have not had a drop of water in home after a heavy rain!
