A&M cleaned our gutters, replaced one 20' broken gutter and drain, and installed premium leaf guards all around. They did a fantastic job. When the owners of the company (husband and wife) came out for the job quote, they were friendly and professional. The charge was very reasonable. The husband and his helper cleaned out our gutters which were packed almost solid with many years of dirt and leaves. Not a fun job! I cannot recommend A&M Rain Gutters. Please read and be mindful of my experience if you are considering hiring them. TLDR; thanks to Ring Doorbell, I discovered that the owner urinated on my house. I think it speaks volumes about their questionable level of professionalism when the owner of a small business treats a customer's home as their personal toilet. He lied to my wife when stating that he was caught on a fence and wasn't relieving himself. Buddy, I have the video evidence to prove it. I'm not going to post it to spare him from further embarrassment. The details - Our rain gutters needed to be replaced like yesterday, so my wife requested quotes from a number of rain gutter businesses including A&M Rain Gutters. In the end, she chose A&M Rain Gutters because of the positive Yelp reviews, the co-owner Adrienne was very professional in her quote, and also her level of friendliness on the phone. I was at work on the day of install. The owner of A&M Rain Gutters (I don't know his name but he is heavy-set, has a grey close-cropped beard, and was wearing a white shirt and white boonie hat) and another worker tripped my Ring Doorbell alert a number of times. I didn't think much about this at first, because I anticipated work around the house. About an hour after they arrived, and I decided to check-in on the work done through the Ring app. That is when I saw one particular video, of the owner walking to a corner of the exterior of my house and relieving himself. Again, I have the video evidence from Ring to prove it, with sound (yuck!). I called Adrienne and spoke to her about it. She was very apologetic and heard me out as I calmly (albeit very annoyed) talked through how disgusted I was that her husband treated my home like his personal toilet. I wanted to fire them, and possibly even call the non-emergency police, but my wife convinced me to have them finish the job. We have a lot of work scheduled to our home in the coming weeks and don't have the luxury of pivoting to a different company last-minute. To her credit, Adrienne listened to everything I had to say and apologized profusely for her husband's disgusting act. I was not anticipating monetary compensation and didn't receive it. I am very concerned about the work A&M Rain Gutters did to my home, because if the owner is willing to treat his customer's home with no respect then how can I trust their work is satisfactory. I paid over $1,600 to have them remove my old rain gutters, install new ones, and piss on my house. Would you trust a small business whose owner literally pisses on your house? The icing on the cake was when my wife got home to pay them, and the owner tried to sell her some B-S story about him not relieving himself but rather how he got caught on the fence and was trying to get free. Nice try, but the video doesn't lie. I don't want to post it out of a (possibly) misguided sense of decency, but I will if you continue to lie. You cannot trust this owner and should look elsewhere for your rain gutter replacement job. read more

We just got our house painted and needed a quality company to install new gutters (we had the painters remove and dump the nasty old ones). My Yelp search led me to 3 companies. I called all three to set up appointments for quotes. One of the companies never called back, and another called to tell me that he no longer did houses with 2 stories. Fortunately, A&M called me back, and we set up an appointment for a quote. Adrienne came out, took a look around, and gave me a quote on the spot. I booked a date for the install and everything went smoothy from there. The crew of 3 guys arrived right on time, and within a few hours, they knocked out the job. They did a SUPER quality job -- first class all the way, and exactly as Adrienne quoted. We've been through a few rains already, and the gutters work perfectly and look great too. I thought these guys were reasonable and professional however they did not install one section of gutter properly so they came out and fixed it and charged me to do so. Now I found another section that was installed incorrectly which has caused flooding and leaking and they said they would come out and fix it but they never have and now they do not answer their phone nor do they return my phone calls. They seemed to be nice folks so it is very disappointing that they are so unresponsive. I'm not sure what happened, maybe they are out of business now ???? read more

I recently had new gutters put on after getting a new roof, and I was super excited when I found A&M, my first impression was excellent, the estimate process and scheduling were fast, friendly and efficient.... fast forward to install day, when a crew of less than friendly men arrive to install my new gutters. I was greeted by an apparently irritated man, who honestly seemed to not want to install my gutters, he tried to say he needed to reschedule simply because I had Not removed 4 sun curtains from my back patio (which took literally 5 minutes for me to remove) then proceeded to grumble and complain About various aspects of my house, at one point I heard him tell another worker "man this is going to take all day". I also didn't much appreciate looking out and seeing one of the workers smoking in my front lawn. I am only giving 3 stars because I am happy with the gutters themselves and because I was happy with the estimate and scheduling portion, but the crew should really work on their attitudes and customer service, and perhaps consider a different line of work if they don't like what they do! read more

Initially we contacted three companies on Yelp -- one of whom is owned by a neighbor. We got no return calls on two, but Adrienne actually answered the phone and was excited about our rain gutters. She came out within a couple of days to give us a quote, suggested the best way to get the most for our money, and we decided right then and there to move forward with A&M Rain Gutters. I hired this company based off word of mouth from my in-laws. They had a good experience so I didn't even bother to get another estimate. The call and quote appointment was a pleasant experience. One of the owners and two of his men show up and immediately seemed pissed off. My landscaping people were still finishing up and it seemed they weren't happy about having to share the space. They got started right away and we're making good time, you can tell these guys know what they are doing. During the install it was also discovered that one whole side of my house was not on the quote, I was told it would be $60 more. I agreed to the change I came out to see the progress and noticed that the new speaker wire I had just run from the night before was gone. When I asked what happened to my speaker wire one of his guys said I cut it. He not only cut it, he pulled it completely out from under the flashing and then cut it. He said I thought it was a scrap but it was placed right where the speaker mount was. It gets worse though, you would think that if he cut "scrap" from my house he would give it to me but he didn't. He hid it in their van after cutting it. So dishonest and deceitful. I told the owner that they weren't getting paid and called the owner that gave me the quote. She immediately responded and told me that they would do the added work at no cost to try and make this issue right. I agreed. To be completely fair see ratings below. And the price was the lowest I had received so far in my search for gutters for my home. I had a very good experience with A&M Rain Gutters. They made the whole process fairly easy. I called them up and they were able to schedule an appointment to come out and do an estimate within a few days. They walked around the house, took some measurements and gave me some options. A & M has a variety of color options and styles for gutters and downspouts so you can match the rest of the house or existing gutters. They came out (on time!) and went over our options and provided us with an estimate. I called them the next day and set them up to come out on Monday morning to do the work. We hired A&M Raingutters to install rain gutters on my home. It was a tricky install because a contractor that removed the old gutters and fixed my railings made it nearly impossible to put rain gutters back on. So, he never re-installed the gutters. Oh, Man, that blows! So, I was on the hunt for a new guy.... I found A & M Rain Gutters Martin did a great job fixing the problem. First off, he showed up to look at the problem!! (he didn't "flake out" like so many guys do). He took the time to figure out an affordable solution. He gave me a quick bid. He made an appoinment to install and HE showed up on TIME!! Woohoo! He brought a helper and the two of them went straight to work. They had so much work, with turns and angles and going from level to level to level.... but he did it! He finished in half a day. Glad we hired A&M Rain Gutters to install rain gutters on our house. Very satisfied with everything from start to finish. When I called their phone number to request a quote I got voice mail and left a message. I got a call back in a few hours from Adrienne who was able to come out the next day to give us a quote on the job. Adrienne was very prompt showing up to give the quote as scheduled. She was very professional in taking measurements, asking us questions about where we wanted our downspouts placed, and suggesting colors for the gutters and downspouts. I am disappointed with A&M. I had rain gutter repairs and screening completed last year at a cost of over $1000. They were not easy to work with and it was a lot of money to spend, but I was basically satisfied with the quality of the work. Therefore, I contacted them earlier this month about cleaning my rain gutters. I called at least twice and left messages describing what work I needed, and I did state that they had previously worked on my home. No one responded. I also e-mailed one of the owners to request a callback. No one responded. It is discourteous and poor business practice. I cannot recommend A&M. read more

I recently had several quotes to install new gutters for my upscale rental property. After having Adrienne come out to quote, I canceled the next bidder and ordered the work...could not be happier with the advise, quality of work and communication with them. While I may not have liked what I was told, because I HAD MADE MISTAKES, She was the only bidder that gave me advise on how to best get the water to flow away from the house...my general contractor said she was right now and her advise was expert, correct and mandatory. We have done all the work she recommended and very happy. Try to keep in mind that this is a relatively small family operation and you are not reaching a call center when you phone them...it is their phone and their answering machine. They were very punctual and please have the courtesy to do the same for them as their time is valuable. read more

We had them install gutters earlier this year on our two story home. We received a couple of estimates and they were one of the least expensive and my husband preferred to give them our business. They were professional and did a great job. My only complaint was that at least one of the men working was smoking in my backyard which I thought was totally inappropriate. It's one thing to smoke in the street or sidewalk, but would suggest that they don't smoke in client's backyards. read more

On 10-8-18 A & M Gutters installed 74 ft. of guttering and two downspouts on our San Carlos home. Their bid was the lowest (-10%, -32%) of the three, but that was not why they were selected. Adrian and Martin own and operate the business. She handles the office and does estimates. Martin and his assistant did the installation. Sorry it took me a while... We had contact A&M rain gutters and spoke to Adrea (Martins' wife) and arranged to have Martin come over and give us quote. Adrea was very friendly and easy to talk to and was able to schedule Martin to come and give a quote. He was very punctual and even came in on Sunday as we were on a tight schedule. I also had another company come and give us a quote, but by far A&M were lower and also something about Martin gives you a good feeling and i felt that his quote would not change mid way installation. I was right!!! After a month later I had to ask him to come again to confirm the initial quote and I needed his advice on a place in the house that we might need to add gutters to. All in all, it worked out really well and they did an amazing job! Very straight forward and professional, no run around! I would surely recommend them to anyone who needs rain gutters installed. I will post another review once we have more rain and are able to actually test the material. read more

A&M quickly replaced the faulty sections of gutters and reinstalled existing gutters that were installed by screwing them into the fascia boards at the wrong slope. We are buying another house and we will call A&M again! They are fast and very reasonable. read more

They arrived on time and did a very nice job. The gutters look great! They stayed on budget and even did something extra for us (attached a pvc pipe to run water down the slope behind our house). These folks were awesome! Adrienne did the quote quickly and she was personable and professional. Then the following week Martin and his crew came and did the installation. Boy! Were they fast! I had been kept on tether hooks by another company who had come out ill prepared (I had to loan him a tape measure, for Pete's sake!) and although I indicated I would expect a quote the following Monday I never heard from him again.
