There's about three floors that are similar to a mall with multiple shopping areas and a food court. There is one sit down restaurant that has a huge bar and views over the river. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn downtown or the Voco downtown, there's a convenient walkway over the street so you don't even need to go outside. The food court has a huge variety of quick service restaurants: salads, barbecue, sushi, Chinese, sandwiches, and fried chicken. Multiple restaurants allow you to order food ahead and pick it up so you don't have to wait in long lines. Most of the building is office space so if you're here around 8 or 9 AM, lunchtime, or 4 to 6 PM, it's crazy busy. There are a couple entrances that have those rotating doors. My first morning here I was entering from the street level through one of those and a lady behind me came and pushed the door really fast. It was all I could do to step out the door without having to go around again. She then rushed by me and almost ran up the escalator. She must have been late for work compared to me, a wandering tourist. If you're in the area, check this place out.

I decided to pop into the flagship store in the Nordstrom building to attempt to make the exchange while in my way to go pick up my daughter. I was joyfully greeted by Nina, the boutique manager, she asked that I hold a moment to be serviced while she was assisting another customer with a purchase. Instead of having me wait, she tagged in a Nordstrom sales person, Christina, for help to prevent me from having to wait. I truly appreciated her calling someone else to collaborate with her instead of me aimlessly waiting next in line. I explained what I needed, Christina said she would be more than happy to assist me and Nina assured me that my size and possible others if needed were in stock. The ladies worked quickly and pleasantly on my exchange while making sure they answered any questions and addressed concerns regarding my exchange and anything else I was interested in. I even caught a glimpse of Nina servicing the other customer and I noticed they too were pleasantly satisfied. Aside from loving my shoes and the CL brand itself, the customer service and utterly amazing energy these two gave while shopping is unmatched. When I called to inform the CLB store what happened, Nina took the call. When I tell you she took care of me, I mean I left feeling impressed on her service skills. I was waiting for the person in front of me to clear out as the woman at the register yelled out, "ELEVEN SIXTY NINE." I was really confused as I hadn't even reached the register yet, so in response, she yelled with more annoyance, "ELEVEN SIXTY NINE." Allllrighty then. I paid my $11.69 and was on my way. At the airport a few hours later, I decided to take my first bites and somehow all three popcorn types were completely stale. I genuinely cannot figure out how that's even possible given how busy this location is, unless the popcorn was stored improperly overnight? I hope they will apply some better quality control in the future, but I'm sad to have wasted $11.69 on stale popcorn.

Even though, I have been having weird reactions/food sensitivities to some ingredients lately that make my belly not so happy and brain (I'll get headaches and feel pretty weak all over and shaky), but they're food is very tasty and affordable. It's also really well stocked and organized though they do get extremely busy and trying to manuver my way around the aisles can be a bit challenging. Nonetheless, I went yesterday more towards closing time, and similar to Fresh Market, they are very understanding and they don't like push you out or anything. They will let you shop literally until closing time. I also appreciated how they had security go up and down the aisles as well. I wanted to give a shout out to a cashier named Andy who was very patient, kind, and friendly. A smile goes a long way and sometimes a smile can cheer someone up and his friendly, congenial nature made my day. He was also very helpful though I wish they would give the the TJ's cashiers chairs to sit on because they have to stand stationary in one spot the whole day for who knows how many hours. I feel for people that have to be on their feet all day, but what I appreciated was the fact that even though it was cloaing time he still treated me as I was a guest that he just greeted early in the morning at the atart of the day. I like to recognize those who put extra effort forth and he deserved it so I hope his manager can recognize that. Overall, I think Trader Joe's has an excellent product(s) on their hands and is a well run machine which speaks to administration at the top and how they wish to have their stores nationwide managed. I do wish there was one closer though, but it's not thag bad of a walk and there is always a bus one can take as well. Plus walking is good for you, or good exercise...I just believe in giving credit where credit is due and it's pretty amazing because everytime I go there is always someone restocking the shelves and they work so fast and so diligently too. Like yesterday there was a woman stocking packaged salads (though I do enjoy salads, it's not my go to when I am super hungry) but man was so fast and efficient. Same for this other guy in the Asian inspired foods aisles, like he was making sure that the freshest items were at the top of each stock pile. I was truly impressed. I am sad that I missed out on the Trader Joe's tote bag sale, but hopefully there'll be another one:) I do wish they were a bit bigger in size though because then you could use them as bags to shop with while there at the store and it's good marketing for them, like how Aldi has this giant recycable tote bag...I wish Trader Joe's did the same....maybe one day‍ Also they have really lovely peonies available now. Another Great Vest From Victory Leathers!…read more I joined American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association and needed to get a new vest. My first vest I bought from here was a great deal so, my new vest had to come from Victory Leathers. I had picked it out online. Called Eddie to make sure they had one. I drive over 70 miles one way is the reason for calling. The first one I wanted was a bit tight. No problem, Eddie had a size bigger. I bought the, "Leather Vest with Buffalo Nickle Snaps", and love it. Eddie sewed on 13 patches of various sizes. It was around 11:45 when I got there and finished the complete sale and headed home around 12:25. Thank you again for doing another great job for me.
