We had built block walls around our yard but the coyote was able to easily hop over and almost carried our little guy away. Thankfully our pup was ok after an incredibly expensive stay and literal brain surgery at urgent care. While dealing with the stress of not knowing if our dog would recover and with the unexpected cost, we knew we needed to get more protection up asap and I reached out to 4-5 fence companies to help. Everyone was wonderful but Mike stood out. He was sympathetic, knowledgeable, and managed to get us slotted in on the schedule. He met with me at least three times before we finalized the quote to make sure he knew exactly what we needed. Jason and Jobel were our installers and they worked hard to get the project done. They were also perfectionists which my neurotic heart appreciated - the two of them literally went over every inch of the install at the end and swapped out any slats that didn't pass their quality check. They even redid a tricky corner four times to make sure I was satisfied. Mike came by every day to check on everything and discuss all steps with me. We had some issues with the gates and the locks/handles I had already purchased and Mike had his welder fabricate custom pieces to make sure the gates worked and looked nice. He takes pride in his work and his entire team follows his lead. Our project was not cheap but I've learned in the past two years of renovation and building that you get what you pay for - and the feeling of security and relief I have when outside is absolutely worth it.

The first visit didn't happen, which actually worked out because I was incredibly busy that weekend. We scheduled a second appointment, but I completely forgot about it and never followed up. At that point, I had already received two other quotes and was ready to move forward with another contractor. Somehow, Miguel must have had "fence contractor spidey sense" because he reached back out. With my permission, he stopped by while I was at work to take a look. I was hesitant since I thought I had already made my decision, but he asked me to give him a chance. He told me he could beat the other quotes and complete the job faster and sooner. As a parent of two kids, a quick turnaround is a huge plus. Needless to say, I decided to go with Miguel. I'm glad I did. His price beat both of the other contractors, and the quality of the work was excellent. They tore down and replaced about 121 feet of fencing (65 feet on one side and 56 feet on the other) with new vinyl fencing. Miguel and his crew worked through the LA heat and completed the installation in just two days. They spent the extra half day on cleanup, making sure every piece of the old fence, leftover material, and even the smallest screws were removed from my yard. I paid in full, but the workmanship, structural stability, and treatment of my property were entirely unacceptable. 1. Structural Defect (Hollow Posts & Wobbly Fence): The crew installed an 8-foot-tall vinyl privacy fence. For a fence of this height, standard industry specifications require robust external concrete collars, internal metal reinforcement to handle wind loads. Instead, the crew only poured a small amount of concrete at the absolute base of the holes underground, leaving the 8-foot-tall plastic posts completely empty and hollow from the ground up. The brand-new fence has a severe wobble and is structurally unstable. 2. Poor Work Ethic and Dismissive Customer Service: The crew arrived very late in the day. Once on-site, they took frequent, quick breaks and spent a significant amount of time not working. When I noticed the slow progress and the poor quality of the initial setup, I immediately contacted the company's designer to address my concerns. Instead of helping, the designer was completely dismissive and explicitly told me he did not have time to talk to me. The installers on-site were equally rude and condescending when approached. 3. Property Damage and Utility Concerns: During the dig, the crew completely ignored critical utility line placements, failing to safely address my water pipes and gas line. Furthermore, the installers used my personal garden hose without permission, ripped it during the process, and left it broken without apologizing or acknowledging the damage. 4. Zero Cleanup & Leftover Microplastics: Because they finished the work long after sunset, I could not inspect the yard until the next morning. The cleanup was nonexistent. The crew buried construction debris and dirt directly into my soil instead of hauling it away. Even worse, the concrete ground was covered in microscopic vinyl plastic shards from where they cut the fencing. I had to manually clean up all the plastic debris myself. 5. Video Documentation: Because the installation wrapped up so late in the evening, I was unable to inspect the final results until the next morning. It is clear that the project was rushed and corners were cut at every stage, from the lack of cleanup to the failure to properly secure the posts.
